I receive one or two calls every week for several months now.  At first I thought our company had done something wrong because they come across as a government agency.  That is when I decided to google them and i'm glad I did.  Very annoying

Call from Shawn @ 310-363-7870 with a reference number to inform Superintendent of two new mandates since March 24, 2014.  I suspected it was a telemarketing call.  Thanks for the confirmation.

I got a similar message from "Gauge" at this company. The call back number was 310-363-7876. Really getting tired of SCAMS like this. If you can't sell something honestly, using sound sales practices, don't resort to tactics that try to scare buyers into buying stuff.

Wrong.  Guess this site must be cutting into your scammy profits, huh?  Good!

People can get the posters they need for free from www.dol.gov.  They can also find out how to make sure they are in compliance through that GOVERNMENT site.

It's not a scam, not at all.  They have a great service and documentation that helps us with our compliance issues.  They do not say that they are from the federal government, you just have to pay attention and listen properly.  We are glad we are working with them, couldn't do it on our own.  People on here are afraid to listen.  They are not selling anything if you don't want it, but you would do much better in your HR jobs if you worked with this firm.
This is a perfectly legitimate company, you are all too negative and stressed out in your jobs.  Pay attention, get the free consultation with them, then decide.  If you get federal funds, you should be dealing with this company.  They are much cheaper than any others out there, and if you listen carefully, they are great at what they do.

I received this same message today, my called was Alisa.  I was glad to see there was information regarding it online.  These calls are very persistent and very aggressive.  Many times there are similar callers trying to sell their DOL posters as well.

I agree with this individual 100%.  Your method of contacting companies is completely unethical.  You do not leave your full company name but instead say you are from the EEOC compliance department, implicating that you are a branch of the gov't that monitors EEO compliance.  I tried calling the "Operations Manager" from a previous message and the extension he/she gave is not even a valid extension.

I was left a message from the phone number 310-363-7876, stating it was imperative that I return the call.  I case number was referenced.  I actually called back but didn't get answer.  The recorded message said it was the office of Affirmative Action Compliance.

Unwanted telemarketing call from company named MS Affirmative Action claiming to be calling about a specific file number and needing an urgent call back. They call repeatedly.

Jennifer called my company earlier today as well - 310-363-7734.  Wish I had thought to look this up prior to calling her back.  But now I'm prepared!  Have clued in my Admin staff to route any and all requests for information from "MS Affirmative Action Compliance Dept" to me.

I just got a message from a Jennifer Robinson at 310-363-7734. She said she was calling from M.F. Affirmative Action. She said it was imperative that our Head of HR call them back immediately about our Affirmative Action compliance. Also when we call back, we should reference file number 169676.  (That's probably how she collects her commission!)  Yeah, right.

I received a message from Patricia at MS Affirmative Action Compliance and she referenced a file number and said she needed a call back right away.  I was obviously skeptical and googled this.  I am glad that I came across these posts.  Her message was very official and "cold"... I don't plan on calling them back.  Warning to all who receive a message like this on their voicemail.

I recieved a call from this company and was told that they work with the Federal Government for compliance purposes.  They gave me a reference number. Their call was very "cold" and not at all like a sales pitch leading me to assume that they were in fact an arm of the Federal Government or some type of investigative regulatory agency.  They did not say "please call us back as we have some items we would like to sell" rather, "YOU NEED to call us back at 310-363-7876 and use this reference number.  I assumed an employee had submitted a formal complaint or violation against the corporation for which I knew nothing about.  The key words they use are; "mandatory compliance investigation", "Federal requirements" , "do you understand" , "you need to incorporate these into your on record documents" and related statements that while not asserting they are the government certainly using unethical practices to scare the consumer.  Upon later reflection and another call back to them, I was able to determine that they never said they work FOR the Federal Government which is obviously how they are not prosecuted for misrepresentation of a federal autority agency.   Without a doubt this is false representation to excite the employer into thinking there is a file number against their agency/corporation. At a minimum their call should say "this is a marketing call" which they at no time reference.

As of this e-mail, I have reported them to our Congressional Representatives in Washington D.C.  They can sell all the products they wish in a free market economy but to use intimidation and misrepresentation (while not illegal) is unethical and certainly poor business practices. Call them and tell them to IMMEDIATELY remove your name from their call list.

I received a call yesterday and before doing any research, immediately called back. I thought it strange that the phone line appears to go to a cellular voicemail as opposed to an professional office line. What a scam.

Have received calls from this number twice now, with a message left to call back regarding "important affirmative action compliance." I haven't responded, smelling a scam, but it's very annoying since we do actually have government contracts.

Thanks for your posts - found them when I looked up "MS Affirmative Action Compliance Department" on-line after receiving a phone message to call back with reference to case 110121.  The caller was Audrey Pauley at 310-363-7809. Tacky telemarketing technique...

I received a message from Jennifer Robinson from MSPG Affirmative Action Compliance Department stating she wanted to go over 3 federal mandates that need to be implimented into our EOE non-descrimination statement and to call her at (310) 363-7734.  This just didn't sound right to me, so I googled the company and found all of these comments!  "Thanks" to everyone who wrote something, warning others of this company.

I think they have a new phone number:  310-363-7734

I got a call from them today, and it didn't sound right, so I looked up the company on Google and found this site.

While I'm glad to know I'm not the only one getting these calls, it's ridiculous that any business would do this to other businesses.

Thanks for keeping this up-to-date.

I called them and asked them to take me off there call list.  The man I talked to asked for this so called reference number and he looked up my companies information.  He then said no problem, I will take you off the list.  More annoying than anything.

Received a similar message today from an Amy.  She didn't leave a last name, and had to repeat the phone number because she stated it incorrect the first time.  The message was left with our president.  On one hand he wondered if we had a claim, but on the other the way the message was left and it coming from California put up red flags.

Thanks for the comments above.  This helped in researching it.  I called them back and received a non-description voicemail with no name of company or person.  Sales calls are expected in my position, but unethical and shady sale call techniques make me unwilling to talk to the company. They may have a good product/service, but if I can't trust their sales calls how can I trust they will do a good job at whatever service they are offering?

Remember, if you there is an actual claim the federal agency that would contact you is the Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (DOL-OFCCP).

Thanks for posting this.  Help me when I just googled to see where the caller was really from.  Our front desk was smart enough to send it to my voicemail.  She identified herself as Susan from MS Affirmative Action Compliance Department, file #176.169, at (310) 363-7876.  Needless to say, after seeing this I will not be returning the call.

I rec'd a call voicemail message from Earl at MS Affirmative Action Dept at 310-363-7876.  He left a case # as well. We work on state & federal contracts. I know we are in compliance, so I thought I should check this company & number out prior to returning the call.  Thanks everyone for the info posted.

My company received a call from that same number - 301-363-7876.  In reading through the various posts, it looks as though the number changes periodically.  "Jordan" called and left a message regarding our good faith efforts and new mandates we need to be aware of. Sounds like a solicitaion that tries to prey on employers' fear of the OFCCP.
