This same scammer uses fake phone numbers from all over the country. The number that appears on my caller ID is: 510-699-6152.  They also use different carpet cleaner names. (In some areas, it is "Allison" who
calls, instead of "Diane").  I have been reading MANY complaints from people who are on the do-not-call list, but still get called. I saw where this same outfit (same "Diane", etc.) has already been fined $10,000 in Idaho for violation of the do-not-call registry.  And yet, it doesn't seem to have slowed them down any!

Got a recorded voice mail spam from this number

Just got the call from this number, 12:50 pm. on March 11, 2008.  Didn't answer the phone, and no message was left.

stupid carpet cleaners...

no message. called back and it was busy. they're probably calling someone else.

Got a call from them twice.  Returned call to get my # off their call list.  Busy both times.

4th time I received a call from this number

Call from "Dianne" at some carpet and upholstery cleaning co., automated message. This came to my cell phone.

I kept trying to call back, but it is busy. Then just a few minutes ago I got a chance to talk to someone. The lady said they have no appointment for tomorrow,    and I should call them back to get an appointment in the future...strange

Today was is the second or third time that I've received a cell-phone call from this company.  It's really annoying as I only use my cell for incoming emergency calls and therefore interrupt a meeting to answer it.  I hit "1" to "order" the carpet cleaning and it hung up.  I tried calling the number back but it ALWAYS is busy.

Got a missed call from this number.  Call back it's always busy. Please return my call or leave a text mgs.

The guy is calling me very often, once It happened I didn't pick up (muted)the phone......he was there.

I've gotten these calls every other day for weeks now and decided to google it finally and read all about this scam. For safety reasons I'd never set up an appointment with them to come to my house, but I will be setting one up with the address of the local police station instead. Maybe these idiots will get the hint!

and yeah... where is my $$ that we're all supposedly entitled to for being harassed? Someone should get on that class action business ASAP!

2nd call I've received

I'm sorry. I wouldn't be the one who makes the appointment. It's a dangerous game, I'm not a player. I'm not sure who will be show up in my appartament. I would be very worried.
I would like meet this guy, but I wouldn't make appointment through this strange number. I'm not that kind of person. It would make me nervous. This strange way is not my way.

Another salesman may have gone through a lot of disappointments, his heart (both) is bleeding. I feel that he doesn't trust me, and he doesn't see me (what I'm looking for), but I think we are looking for the same. This world is not for us. I don't know.....

just filed a complaint with the FCC about DIANE CARPET CARE.  I am also on the no call list.  We need the physical address of this place to send the police.  Maybe someone could actually schedule a carpet cleaning and have the police or a private detective trail them?  Guess I've been watching too much TV.  Just a thought.

Somebody on another board scheduled an appt. at an empty house. He waited outside and a guy in an unmarked van drove up License Number 3POG927  He called his office to say that the door wasn't being answered and they called him back on his cell phone. Their real phone number is in Northridge 818-534-6825  Everyone call the number and schedule a phony appointment. Waste their time and gas. Don't get mad, get even!

I did not answer the call but I filled a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry, since my cell phone number is registered.

Unfortunately, all they say after you fill the form is the below:

"Thank you for filing your complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.
Do not call complaints will be entered into a secure online database available to civil and criminal law enforcement agencies. While the FTC does not resolve individual consumer problems, your complaint will help the agency investigate the company, and could lead to law enforcement action."

This call just came through on my cell phone, and I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry! Apparently that didn't work, but I'm going to try and get them in trouble. They didn't leave a message, I called it back and its busy so I googled the number and there's hundreds of blogs and postings on several sites about this phone number. That's unreal and it needs to be stopped.
