Stop these calls.
LJ 2012-12-28 22:21:45 Unknown
If they are actually calling from India or China the FTC can't do anything. The Federal Trade Commission can only go against American companies. Find out what country they are in and start calling their embassies every time you get a call from them and complain.

There are calls to my line every day from this number. I just called it back; sat on hold for several minutes and woman finally got on the line--and she hung up on me before allowing me to finish what I was calling about. I called back and got the same woman and screamed at her that my number is a private line and has no connection with a business and she hung up again. I'm going to look up on the Internet to see if there is a way I can complain to the government about the caller; my number is on the national Do Not Call list and I'm sure there is something more that can be done.

Recorded message -- do we want more customers in our area "immediately". Pressed the number to opt out -- if that does not work, they will be blocked. Annoying! I have had 3 phone calls this morning alone from telemarketers! Can't get anything done for them bothering us.

This number keeps calling me continuously and hangs up.

these jerk offs have called several times with no message. this only says they are trying to sell something, check your phone bill that they do not charge a fee for answering. this is a little trick from these companies to make extra revenue , and people do not realize it

Scammers who read these posts get a high cause they want people to fight each other and be confused.
Grammar police 2012-12-26 17:41:27 Unknown
This isn't the place to be snarky. We are all fighting the same problem not each other.
J 2012-12-19 17:42:40 Unknown
Glad I didn't answer. (Do any REAL people even use the phone anymore?!?)
redheartlove 2012-12-18 18:01:38 Unknown
I'd be willing to help you out with your fantasy.....

They did not leave a message, but when I called back the man said, "Let's start with your first name..." I said, please remove my number. He said he would.
Not sure who it was, but don't care as long as they don't call again =-)

They called. I did not answer. I called them back and they answered then hung up without a word. So i called back and they answered again and only heavy breathing for about 3 seconds was heard. I just wish these jackwagons would stop calling me!

Yes they keep calling & never leave a message. Best investment we made was buying a panasonic phone from Target for under $90 (3 handsets) allows you to block numbers & this # just made the list!

The ftc will not do anything to stop these pos. As their victims, we can only defend ourselves by using them as a proverbial--or literal--punching bag until, one day, they call the right person who will treat them to all they deserve and more.
If it makes the news, the story might start out something like this..."In Odd News, more than 47 people have gone missing. Law enforcement has linked those missing to a nationwide telemarketing scheme that has scammed several thousand people out of their hard earned money. If further investigation leads to more evidence that the disappearance is related to scamming crimes, the case will be closed, because, really, who cares what happens to a criminal? And on to more good news..."
Disclaimer: no actual criminals were harmed in the preceding fantasy.

This is NOT Google. This is a third party scammer IMPLYING they are Google in order to get naive business owners to give them their money. I get calls like this a dozen times a week (we manage websites for some of our small business customers and we list OUR phone numbers to keep them from falling for this kind of crap). I repeat... THIS IS NOT GOOGLE.

I just spent over 2 hours calling THEM back at (310) 409-1059. I usually got the, "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line for the next available operator." message. But after repeated calls, I finally got through and spoke to Enan. He said his company was Mysupernova.com. I told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor. He immediately said he could take me off his list and put me on a Do Not Call list. I said that would be great, but I have already told them to do this and they have not. He said he would tell his supervisor and I would be off by the end of the day. I told him that would be great and that I have just today reported his company to the Federal Trade Commission, which I inf act did. I told him his company has called me from several different numbers and that I did not appreciate it. He assured me that that was not correct, that they do not have several different numbers. (Bold faced lies!). I did leave a voice mail with someone at the FTC. Hopefully they will help me put a stop to this.

Now I'm getting several calls per day from Beverly Hills, CA 310-409-1059. It's the same despicable fools!
This morning I received a phone call from 310-409-1059. My caller id lists the caller as Beverly Hills, CA. In July they were calling from 818-451-4167 and my caller ID lists them as Canoga Park, CA. I get these calls 3 to 4 times EVERY DAY and have for SEVERAL MONTHS. When I let the call go to voicemail, they never leave a message. Sometimes I get a call from 818-451-4167 and my caller ID this time lists them as Winnetka, CA. When I do answer the phone, I get an automated message about Google optimization.
I called the number back and asked to talk to their supervisor. When I do they usually hang up. A couple of times, though, I was able to tell the person who answered that I want them to put me on the Do Not Call list. I got another automated call from this number today at 3 PM CST. I called back and asked to speak to their supervisor, and they said they are not there. Then I asked them the name of their company. Jesse, told me the company is SEO Company out of Newport Bridge, CA. I asked him again the name of his company and he repeated, SEO Company, and explained it was a Search Engine Optimization company. I told him again that I wanted to speak to his supervisor. He asked why and I told him that earlier today I spoke to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) about their company, I actually called and left my information with your automated service. Jesse hung up on me. I then called back and got a high pitched recording (that sounds a little like Alvin and the Chipmunks) saying, "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line and you will be transferred to the next available agent." No one ever answers. So I call back again and speak to Sandra, then later to Jackie and then to Jesse again. They all hang up when I ask for their supervisors. I did get Jesse to tell me it is just after dawn there (just after sunrise). By my calculations, it is 3PM in California. So they obviously are calling from India or China.
Just minutes later I get a call from 310-954-0066, the caller ID says, "unknown" didn't answer. I called 310-954-0066 back and got someone speaking Chinese repeating the same phrase over and over. I asked if they speak English and got the same Chinese phrase.
I do advise everyone to put your name on the Do Not Call list by calling the FTC at 888-451-4167 and / or fill out the online form at www.donotcall.gov. If you want to leave a complaint there you can do that right away without waiting for you number to be put on the DO Not Call list.

I get calls all the time from the same people, different numbers. I only get the tail end of the message left and it has to do with pressing 1 (or some number - can't remember) to be removed from the Google listing. This time the call was on my cell which used to be connected to the company I used to own. They have also called my home number and when I answered one day, I asked them to remove me from their list. I have not heard from them on that number since. Odd thing is, they asked if I was a business or residence.

This number calls and they just listen.. called back asked them to remove and dont call our number from there calling list.. They called back one hour later. redailed and someone said good luck to your business.
