So this Arabian sounding man answered and sais he was from a cash advance company that was filing a case against me for money i never borrowed but they had my bank account info! scary!!! closing my bank account.

I would not verify your SSN for the person. I am a criminal investigator and am currently looking into a case of possible fraud involving these same people. I am working on tracing the number and the company to learn a little more about them.

This is a fraudulent crank idiot caller!  Doesn't identify his company, but identifies himself as Regel Wilson.  He calls sometimes from the number 916-395-000 but always says to call him at 310-421-1839.  When calling that number it sounds like a phone room and they don't identify themselves, either.  Appears to be a network of spammers and should be investigated by the FBI...  The original caller sounds Indian or Pakistani...very threatening says I should have attorney present when contacting and if I don't beware of the consequences as they unfold. WTF?

I am getting the exact same calls from 310-421-1840.  I am not sure how they got my info, but I threatened them, and they got very flustered, and said they would take me off of their call list...I just hope they don't have any of my other info.

I am getting the same calls from a man with a very strong Indian/Arabic accent.  He leaves a voice mail stating it is extremely important that I call him back, blah, blah, blah.  I returned his call and he claimed I owed money to Cash America which is Cashnetusa.  I did have a debt with this co. but paid it back and have the letter stating paid in full.  I spoke with the co. the debt was too and whom sold it to the co. I paid back.  They informed me that I should call Teletrack and get my report.  That it is possible that the co. I paid never submitted to Teletrack that it was paid in full.  Also never to paid these people anything because it is FRAUD.  There are known fraud issues that have been reported.  I call the man back by the name of Neil Smith and when I begun questioning him, he hung up on me.  He also claims to be the Legal Dept. of Consumer Affairs.  Good luck to anyone that has to get these phone calls.

I received 4 calls from this number just this morning. A guy with a very heavy Middle Eastern accent informed me that I have a lawsuit against my name and he feels sorry for me. He wouldn't give me the name of the company. When I told him that I know he's a scammer, he got flustered, called me an obscene name and hung-up.

If it helps your investigation my wife was contacted by a person with a foreign accent calling himself Ronnie Cooper. He was demanding that she send him 400.00 by debit card immediately or else he would notify her employer. He had her employers name and other personal information.

got the same message from this number and one out of san diego.  people are a**holes, laugh at them and get him angry, it just feels better than trying to make sense of it.  they are scammers, not legal anybodies, they are trash looking to get your cash.  just laugh and ask questions about him and his ability to sit in a room and work the phones like a dumb a**.  it's the same guy everytime, you will get use to them calling until they are caught or just don't answer the phone.

I just received a call from that same number and the vm that was left was sooo hard to understand it was rediculous, i called the number back and they immediately said "how can i help you?" thats no way to answer a phone if you are indeed a business, if this is a company hired by a payday loan company they should not be calling me because ive consolidated all of my pdl and is paying one low monthly payment through a pdl assistance company...

From a payday loan I did. I called the company that I borrowed from and they confirmed I am on track with my payment plan. I am going to contact my hr dept because he said they have notified my employer. If they did I am getting an attorney to get to the bottom of this. Ridiculous! I will never do

scammer alert! spoke to them today, got a call from 310-421-1839. DON'T give them any of your information or help them at all. they are looking for social security number verification as well as trying to get me to forward the money they claim one of my employees owes them. listen to their ramble, it's a bunch of legalese techno mumbo jumbo. once they discover you won't give them any info or money they'll get off the line. tell them you are going to report them asap!!

These people are scammers, don't listen to them, I got a call, said I owed $300.00 for a payday loan that I never paid back, they said I would be black listed from getting loans etc. I never took out a payday loan
I called back trying to get info on the law firm, they hung up on me. I called the fbi they told me it was a scam, and get myself identity theft protection.  I called the so called law firm back to let them know I contacted the fbi, and the guy said oh god bless you and if I was single, and offered to show me a good time, no real collection agency would act in such an unprofessional manor.

It's officially a SCAM.  I got 7 calls/messages from this clown who has no command of the English language and maybe a third-grade education-oh yes, he's a lawyer ha ha.  Rule #1 NEVER ANSWER THE CALL!  I first contacted the FBI who directed me to call the FTC.  The FTC took my report and directed me to the Equifax website where I filed a 90-day credit report watch (with all 3 credit reporting agencies) and I went to my phone provider and blocked his numbers.  I then closed my checking account and got a new one (a free Suntrust service that only took about 15 minutes), nevertheless, always keep close tabs on your bank account and look for any suspicious activity.  Any threats from these monkeys should be notated (if you are seeking legal action) but not taken seriously, for they are in India (home of the bubonic plague) and use an internet provider to fake a US location on caller id.  Finally, never try to get a loan or enter your personal info on the internet-it's not worth it.
