Sent a text message about eliminating debt.  No response when I tried to "opt out."

I got the same text - I called ATT to see if they could block it.  They gave me 60 days free 'ATT Smart Limits for Wireless' and I added that no to my blocked numbers list. They told me the spammer would most likely give up by then and I could call back to discontinue the service.  They also said I should fwd the text to 7726 and they'll investigate and prosecute if possible.

Got an unsolicited call from this number re:debt elimination. I will report it since I have not texting plan and it costs me $0.15 when someone does this.

My husband got a text from this number today. He wrote the number down so I could look it up then he deleted it without even reading the text. Why read a text from someone you don't know is our feeling about this?

Got a SMS text from them 5 minutes ago. Just reporting it in here:

"Need cash now? Have bad credit? No problem! Get a quick cash loan up to $1500 TODAY! Text CASH if you would like to know more. Text STOP to opt out - Survey"

This is a T-Mobile area code and prefix allocated to (Los Angeles) Torrance, CA. I suggest you notify T-Mobile for complaints.

I got a text from 310-430-6941 asking me if I wanted to take care of debt. It told me I had to opt out of receiving these.  I have never asked for any texts on my phone.  This was unsolicited and I am going to report them at the do not call registry.
