I just got a new VOIP number and have been getting phone calls from 310-447-3460 which is located in California and I am not even in the U.S.A!  No message was left but my call display showed the calling number.  It is obvious they are using an auto-dialler so they can't be legitimate, they're "fishing" for suckers.

ACCURISE -TOTAL SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!
On September 14, 2011 I signed up with a company called Accurise (A Credit Repair Company) their fee was 59.99 for a full credit report which they claimed was far more accurate then the free credit reports on line.  Thinking this to be true, I went ahead and authorized the $59.00 (I think they took my money and treated everyone to  lunch).  Anyway, two days later, they called me and told me I had 38 negative items on my report and that my credit score was below 500.  They reassured me that after 60 days my score would increase to 600.  Their fee for such services was $400.00 plus $89.00 maintenance fee after 60 days.  I should have hung up the phone, but instead the desperate idiot in me kicked in and signed up with the hopes of my credit being fixed.  However, contrary to what I was told, I have yet to receive any increase on my credit score, nor any deletions of the 38 negative items.   It is now February 27, 2012 and my score is the same as when I first signed up and the items on my credit report remain at 38.  When I voice my many opinions and dispute with the company the lack of service I am receiving, they continue to neglect my calls and when I do receive a call back, it?s the same story??they are working on it?, oh and it?s never the same representative, so be prepared to repeat your story numerous times.   Moreover, to add insult to injury and for their lack of keeping up with their promises, I was just billed $178 for the maintenance fee I am refusing to pay for the month of January and February, as I don?t feel I should be billed if NOTHING was done.  But as I was told, failure to pay these maintenance fees, will result in my account being closed and resumed once paid.  Not only are they NOT refunding me back my money, but they are attempting to debit $178.00 from my account for maintenance fee, would you believe the ball!!  But their contract however states that failure to provide any deletions from my account within 6 months of service requires a full refund (its in black and white), they are however, changing their policy by stating that IF they delete one item from my report I would not be eligible for a full refund.   So basically I paid almost $500.00 for one deletion that they cannot take credit for, since I was the one who contacted the company Premier Bank, and settled with them by paying what I owe and having the negative item removed?.. Now Accurise is harassing me for the maintenance fees associated with my account as they claim I owe them.     This company clearly took full advantage of me, as I believed the crap they were feeding me, since I saw nothing negative on the intranet pertaining to this company I went ahead and gave them everything but the keys to my house.    Please stay away from accurise.  If anything we should start a class action law suit against them, as they are still operating and scammer people.   Any advice as to how we can get this rolling?

my call was actually from 424 652 4538 but was the exact same company. He goes on to tell me all about the program and how they will fix credit within 6 months sometimes as soon as 60 days. I listen and he seemed nice. His name was Dylan. He asked me some questions regarding my credit history, I told him I know I'm not quite there yet, but I am workign to get there (currently paying off a chargeoff and a few other small medical collections.) He told me there are some costs associated but that they cannot make a penny on the reports so I would have to pay $59.95 upfront for the reports and then that money would go to any future payments I might have to make to fix my credit. The time came and he asked for money and I said you know I just want to do a little bit of research, I don't have the money today I can call back next week. The conversation from there goes as follows...

Dylan "Well Steve if you don't do it today you might lose out on this great offer saving $300 on a consultation gooing over yoru credit"
Me "I understand that, I just want to make sure this is legit, and also I will have more money next week"
Dylan "Well you know we take visa and mastercard, I can even post date a check until next Fri to ensure you will receive the offer and I can start moving with everything"
Me " No I am just going to wait and I will call you back"
Dylan "Well your letting something great go here, you have no idea. I don't even think you are a good fit for us to work together, you need to get your ducks in a row. If you cant pay $60 now how are you going to afford a house?"
Me " I actually have a decent amount of money saved in an investment account, but takes 3-5 business days to do the trade and receive the money, so Im not worried about that"
Dylan (Angry now) "you have NO IDEA what it takes to get a loan these days, you have no clue what youre doing!"
Me" Actualyl I work at a bank and I do loans all day, home equities, auto loans, personal, I assure you I know, as the bank I work for has a reputation for being strict on loans and has never been in bad press regarding loans. But you know what youre right, were not a good fit and I have no desire to ever do business with you" I then asked for the name of his company and he told me accurise.com which I looked on BBB and has a TERRIBLE rating with many complaints.

Dylan "Yea well your loss! Go pay off your collections see how far that gets you... and he hangs up"

I then went right to the internet to research this company to see how bad it must be, and here I am. I realized the scam before but I feel bad for all of these people who have lost money. This company is a JOKE.

true, i tried paying off the bills on my credit, come to find out many of them i paid 3x. secondly i found out that if you dont pay them once they hit your ecord they stay for 7 years but IF you pay them after they hit your record they stay for 10yrs... if that aint bull... Equifax is where i got that info from...

So far i have had good luck with accurise, not sure how long that will last but so far i am happy.. I'm not trying this to get out of paying but to get so i pay each bill only once and i feel that once i pay they should remove from bad not add 10yrs to bad...

everyone has had a low period and/or made bad decisions , unfortuantly for some of us we try to do right by paying off bills and get worse credit from it...

been with accurise 2 months and a day, my score that i checked myself before calling accurise and score i just checked my self raised ..highest raise on all 3 was 78 points, and yes in back of my mind seeing that they did comethru i still wonder if i am in a scam or not..

only time will tel

Well I heard alot of negatives on this company, but thought what can i lose? $60 for signup and $450 for first 2 months repair... I confronted them about what i heard on here and other sites. the one guy lied to me and i told him not to do again. He told me samething i read on one these sites. that some competitor company is writing negative remarks. As i told him if thats true then i should be able to access a copy of the Defamation of charactor/slander suit.... Well to get on with story, the main 2 guys that you deal with in the beginning are Sean and Eric. Sean's ok but Eric IS RUDE AND HARRASSFUL... Once you get past them I dont know who all you talk to but the guy I talked to was very helpful and friendly. I got a Walmart prepaid card just incase I got scammed I wouldnt lose more than i bargined... Well within the first 2 months my scores raised 45-78 points. these are from accounts that were paid or multiples on my report, which all were negitive, YES PAID BILLS CAN GIVE NEGATIVE , Why I honestly think thats bull.........Apparently the monthly cost went up because on here 79.99 is whats said but mine just came thru today and was 89.99.... I was very impressed on what was done so far that I am giving them my buisness still. Almost didnt because I didnt get any paperwork from the credit bureaus till just last week which was the last week of my initial 2 months, but i got them and so i gave them anouther month to see what happends. If i get good results within a month then i will anouther if not then i cancel my walmart prepaid. So thus far I am happy, how long it will last I am not sure, My only suggestion to anyone is #1 DONT DEAL WITH ERIC! #2 weight what you owe and what this would cost you... Talk with the bank about your credit before doing this.. I did and bank actually convinced me to try.. And if you do this dont go applying for anything right away or you will be throwing money away on this.....I'm 32 own nothing , live on a back porch and credit was 478-510 now much higher. I just hope that i will know what i need to pay on report as in bills due before december so i can get paid and accurise can get cleared for me...

Example: http://www.1hourgeteasycashloans.com/apply.php?c=&g=&k=state%20payday%20loans Notice the bad grammar and misspellings. If you can't tell this is a fake page...then I don't know what to tell you. Wise up. Foreigners are playing on the fact that the American people are desperate for cash in this economy, thanks to our scum bag politicians. So they come up with con job sites like this to rob you blind after they seize your personal info, which they sell or use to perpetuate their scams further. Could be Dutch, Russian or Italian mafia, could be Al Quaida, could Romanians, Nigerians, US Criminals on the run overseas, ANYONE really. Be safe. Trust NO ONE online.

Be careful of putting personal info into online forms. Anyone can make a squeeze marketing page with form and redirect the data to a database that is then sold or fed into an auto-dialer etc...its too easy these days.
US Government needs to come up with a biometric citizens id system of some sort involving dna, retinal scan and fingerprint verification for financial transactions or any transactions. Yes it has come to this. Sometimes I really believe our own gov't is up to this as a way of pissing off the public into wanting a big brother type id system.

Thank you for your post!!
Do you by chance remember if the application involved your ss# or any other personal information? I filled out an application while searching for a home, but it was before the weekend and I'm a bit nervous about any info I gave them. Thank goodness I googled the number before I called them back!

Filled out a loan application request on lendingtree.com. Within 30 minutes received this voicemail message, verbatim:

"Hi Nina, my name is Brett. I'm giving you a call in response to your online inquiry for FHA financing. Feel free to give me a call back when you get this. I have your information in front of me wanted to go over to the items in further detail. I kinda get an idea of where you're at and what we can do to get ready. You can reach me directly is 310-447-3460 ext. 235 again that's 310-447-3460 extension ext. 235 and I look forward to speaking with you. bye bye"

<transcription via Vonage Visual Service>

I called Brett back. Left a message. He called me back. Came off as a very nice guy. Congenial, laid-back, "here to help". He asks questions-- what do I do, what is my income, where am I looking to buy, how much of a mortgage am I looking for. Etc. We came to the part about credit reports and scores. Told him I pulled mine before calling and that I am at 670 or thereabouts. He matter-of-factly told me that the report I pulled is not the Tier 3 report he would pull, and that he would need to pull the credit reports of both myself and my husband to really know where we're at, and the costs would be forwarded to our closing costs. He sped over the costs part, spoke very quickly. I stopped him and made him go back. I said, you'll have to forgive me, i'm very new to this so I will ask a lot of questions. What's this part about credit reports? After asking him a few more times and making him go over the info again, it came out that they were going to charge @$60 per report. I said, well I plan on shopping around for a mortgage-- are you telling me that every mortgage company I speak to is also going to charge me $120 to check my and my husband's credit? He said some of them will charge $120 for just one credit report, much less two. At that point I asked him for his last name. He hesitated and then quickly said something that sounded to me like Swenson. I repeated "Swenson?" S-W-E-N-S-O-N?". he said "Yep" - and now there was the slightest hint of an edge to his voice. Barely detectable, but I heard it underneath the veneer. I said Brett, I'm sure you understand that I have to do research on your company. Please give me the name of where you work. He said IMC Capital. I said ok, I will call you in the morning.

Well, 5 minutes into a Google search, I had my answer. I looked up the number he had called me at -- and only at that point realized the number called from came in as
Date     : Aug 18 2011 08:08:39 PM
From     : ACCURISE (13104473460)

I called- he answered, "Hello?". (As others have noted- huge red flag). I said "Brett, we spoke moments ago. I told you I would call you in the morning. As it turns out, I didn't need more than a few minutes. I will not be doing business with your company, and you know why."

He said "OK, I understand." In truth, he sounded a bit sheepish.

End result- unless you are looking for credit repair, stay away. They have nothing to do with getting you a mortgage. nothing. IF you are calling for credit repair, save yourself the money, and repair your credit the old fashioned way-- through time and good responsible financial behavior.

I had received a call from this company stating that they had several programs for getting people in houses in as little as six months. I have fallen for a few scams before in my day and am glad I researched this first. Its a little dissapointing finding out they are a scam. All in all I would like to thank you too. Luckily I decide to research them first I will not be doing business with this company.

I was looking to acquire an FHA loan and this phone # 310-447-3460 from Accurise is who responded. But all I got was a "sales" pitch about repairing my credit. I have read revives about others who Accurise was able to help out. My situation is I paid off my stuff in collections back in April, so there is nothing Accurise can do for me, but they insisted they could but wouldn't allow me to see the Terms and Conditions without signing up first. And they wouldn't let their "mortgage" people contact me until I signed up for their credit repair service. When put on the spot about how can they help when I paid off my own collections, he could only take the route of sign up for our services and we'll see what we can do to improve your FICO score. No thank you, Arthur!

Got a call from a Paul Ivy on 7/9/2011 about helping me get financing for a mortgage. Claims that this company called IMC Capital is a million dollar company and offers free consultation then gets your credit card number and claims that they pull 3 credit reports that costs $60. Once you pay them $60.00 they will apply this amount towards your credit report repair.
