416-544-3005 "Research House"

Called twice on Nov 22 and again today Dec 8.

hello i am located in toronto canada and for the past
4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.
I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local
416 number which i reside in.

These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either hanging up or fronting themselfs as
ROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:

I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doing
the same thing to other people on the internet.

Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)
and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or is
actually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many times
they hang up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then hangup.

This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a day
totalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internet
with people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything done

Called today at 9:18 am when I see the 310 area code I don't bother to pick up the phone

Just called me a few minutes ago.  UGH!! MAKE IT STOP!!

Called twice over the weekend while I was out.  Never left a message.

just had this number on our phone I didn't bother to pick it up since I didn't recognize it but it's really annoying!  Will ppl like this ever stop calling?

Hey Joanne, can Bell do anything about this if we (being the people receiving the calls) haven't followed all the "official" complaint routes, but where there is overwelming evidence that a particular number is a nuisance?  Just curious .

client called up today about phone number keeps calling all hors of the night and day and nobody is there.  My name is Joanne and I am an employee of bell canada for the province of ontorio

They just did me again. Oh well, time to have some fun  with them.  The number that called me was the California #, but it is a message about small business loans and for me to cal the Ottawa # 613-686-1295.  Well, why not, I've got free long distance in North America.  So, I call them (select option 2 to speak to an operator).  I tell them I'm very interested and give them my information, My address for mailing (I give them the Better Business Bureau in Hamilton address), phone and fax numbers (again Better Business Bureau) and created my ficticious company (Reg's Wedges) to register with them.  I think I'll create a few more companies, perhaps in Toronto, Queens Park perhaps?  Well, why not have a wee bit of fun and dash these telemarketers hopes.  I feel for people that have hard times finding a job but the people you speak to on telemrketing lines just have no feeling as far as I'm concerned and I don't feel guilty doing my scam back at them.

I keep getting calls from this number, at all different times of the day. i live in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. I think it's a marketing company trying to do research on when people most often answer their phone.  So they know what the best time to call people is.  I have had this number calling me for months now, last weekend, it woke us up on a Saturday Morning at 7:30 am!  Don't know how to stop it.  No one is ever on the line, it disconnects after 3 seconds or so...

Called a few minutes ago.  NO one there.  When I called back the message gave the "temporarily unavailable" line.  I hate this.  Could be Cranberry or Sara regarding credit card debt as both those have called before.  I have asked to be laced on Cranberry resort in Collingwood's do not call list.  Who knows.  The next time "sarah" calls I may take the put their own info in advice.  Or maybe one of the other annoying "vacant" numbers.

Ding'd me here in Hamilton Ontario a few minutes ago ... again. Seems to be a monthly thing.

I am getting this call on a daily basis.  There is never anyone on the other end. How do I make it stop?!

Getting this idiot robot telemarketer on a weekly basis about improving my credit.

Bell's answer :  "Call a cop.  They can't stop people from phoning me...  UNLESS I want to sign up for their call-blocking service."  NO BLOODY WAY IN HELL AM I GOING TO PAY EXTRA TO STOP A CRANK CALL!!! They also informed me it's a California number.  I'm in the GTA.

No contact info in the message.  Apparently no way to get off the list.  What the hell am I supposed to do?
