call received 4:15 p.m. Sunday
twenty seconds of silence then disconnect

On July 26th these bastards called me at 06:30 and woke me up and both kids.  I forgot to turn off my ringers before going to bed last night, so it was loud enough to wake the dead when they rang.  I didn't answer, but looked at the number on call display.  I checked the "message' they left and it was just a bit of breathing on the other end before they hung up.  Freaky little monkeys.  I googled the 310 area code, and it was not for any areas where my husband's relatives live.   I'm going to bring in the emergency boat horn from the garage, and the next time they call, I'm going to answer and blow that horn in their ear.  Then maybe they'll think again about calling people so bloody early in the morning or at all!!!!!

F*** these guys....Telescemes should at least talk to you...I answered the phone...And got nothing...I'm a tad to busy to be answering every idiot who can dail 10 numbers....These numbers should be shut down.

These idiots ( among others ) call me all the time.I'm in Burlington Ontario Canada.Don't even answer it. If I don't know a number, I google it,and/or ignore it. I think most of these calls are machine generated,and if someone actually answers, it takes a minute for the telemarketer in the boiler room to pounce.Just ignore. If ANYONE asks me for ANY imformation what so ever, I tell them to send me a letter and hang up.

We are getting calls from 310-455-8061, on my caller ID display it show California, getting very annoyed. I wish Bell would do something about this number, calls all hours of the day. The last call was Nov, 25th, 2007 @ 5:00PM.

No answer, no message, nothing.....

Sigh ... Calls still coming into Hamilton, Ontario. Enough said, same crap happening to me as the rest of you.

This phone number keeps calling our home too..very frustrating. We are from Burlington ON. We have friends in California so we thought it might be someone we know..very strange, I wish they would stop calling.

My family also receives annoying calls from these idiots, sometimes they leave an automated message, but mostly just silence.

I get these calls too, in Hamilton. Strange that many of us are in the same region. Is it a Canadian telemarketing company that is using a California call centre?

This number comes up with the name "California" on the call display at work.  Somehow they managed to call my cell as well.  There was no response when I answered the call.

Called me today (8 Oct) in Hamitlon, ON for the third time!

I got some calls from "unknown name unknown number" which i don't normally answer but I did answer one on on Saturday. I said "hello" and i heard my voice replayed back to me!! Then it hung up.

Since Sat i've received 2 more from the "unknowns" and one from "California" today (which is the third time in a few weeks). I suspect it may be the same company..

She is STILL getting 1-2 calls daily.  Just now has caller ID - an expense primarily for piece of mind, not convenience (way to go Bell - good for you, not us)!  We instructed her to just pick up the receiver and quickly HANG UP!  It's so unfortunate that it's the only thing we can do.  Seniors should be protected because they have earned it.  Instead, they have to pay for the security they so deserve.  -- Is Bell hurting that bad that they cannot block this F******G number !!  Enough !!

We have received numerous calls from this phone number, at all times of the day and night. Upon answering the phone there is total silence on the other end, then a click and back to a dial tone. It is almost like harrassment.

Just got a call from this number. Was a bit worried as I was just in California and the message (breathing only) was from "California". I tried some reverse phone listing services on the web. Most said the number was available but the cell phone reverse calling service said that for $4.95 I could get a call report. Not sure if that would give me anything that I could act upon. WIsh my VOIP phone provider (Cogeco in Hamilton) allowed call blocking. Might be a reason to go back to B(h)ell if this persists.

Mississauga, ON.  I've gotten two calls.  One at the end of August and another this week and always after 8pm.  What's strange.......I have an unlisted phone number.  How are they acquiring their calling list?  Is if from banks or trust companies?  Insurance companies? or Professional associations we belong to?

These morons have been calling me for weeks-all times fo the days!  They NEVER leave a message and when I have answered they don't even talk back to me.  I have had it with these morons!  The only reason I even bothered answering is b/c I am from the 310 area code (Southern California) and I thought it may be someone I know...NOT.

Iam here in Hamilton, Ontario and they drive me nuts, we need action on this low life my service is just plain old digital

They called today and nobody talks when I answered.

For months now, I've been getting a call from this number, not ever day, but maybe 2-3 times a month. There's never a person on the other end, just silence.
I'm also from Ontario so this is just frikken weird
