Brandon was indeed a victim, and not an accomplice.  Just a naive college kid with dreams of being a professional musician.

Hey everyone,

I am posting this, as to come clean with everyone reading these posts.  I have spoken with, and am continuing to work with several of those recently taken by Jason, including the studio in Nashville.  

For the record, I am not his son, nor related in anyway.

I met Jason while after I was hired to play bass for a band in Indiana.  I spent all my money to get there, and when things went sour had no money to get home.  (NOTE: the sour was not due to Jason, but to the band's own complications)  He offered me an "internship" and I took it.  It got me home!   Once in Nashville, everything seemed honest... we went in studio with two bands, dealt with one of them for the next week.  Then started booking, supposedly.  I never dealt with the money, nor the booking directly, I was just a gopher, doing miscellaneous jobs, and making calls.  Note also, that I have only worked and known him for ONE month.  I apologize to anyone who has been affected by all this.  And I feel I have been wronged more personally than anyone, because it is my name he has nearly ruined.  I will be keeping up with all of you and posting.  

I have contacted several authorities in Nashville, regarding Jason, as well my laptop which he so skillfully thefted from the office he cleaned out.  

Anyone who reads this who has questions feel free to contact me.  It's not hard my number seems to be everywhere at this point.

Jason Rashley Agency Aka Entertainment Management Services Aka Ian Arthur Agency Misrepresented music industry background and contacts; accepted payment on behalf of subcontractors but did not pay them; charged for nonexistent services Nashville, Los Angeles, Toledo, Atlanta, Baton Rouge Nationwide.

Jason Rashley is the real name of this scam artist. His most recent incarnation is Jason Whitmire aka Jason W aka J.R. aka J.W. He is now in Nashville. Birthdate: January 23, 1973. Approx. 5' 11' - 230 lbs. Visible scar on right side of face across nose.

This guy has set himself up as a legitimate business - yet delivers nothing.

SCAM ARTIST! Band tour promoter / artist management - says he is new to Nashville - and currently networking. Previously perpetrated same scam in Toledo, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Baton Rouge.

Recently stiffed major Nashville recording studio for $3500; bailed on rented office space payment at 3200 West End Ave. for $7000. All phone numbers have reported submitted on 800notes.com.

Trolls MySpace for young indie bands, solo artists. Posts on craigslist - promises gigs/tours/contracts. Books studio time then doesn't pay. Rents office space and doesn't pay. Takes money from clients and says he is going to render services and pay subcontractors - and pockets the money.

MySpace has pulled his pages down multiple times - he keeps making up new names of companies and creating accounts. Posts on craigslist.org as Entertainment Management Services.

His 'Assistant's' name is Brandon Navarro - local Nashville college kid - his cell # is 615-474-7670.

This guy is pathological liar and a sociopath. Avoid at all costs. Has extensive criminal record.
