Just received a call from this number asking me to identify myself by giving them my personal information. That's RIDICULOUS! When I asked what the call was regarding the lady said she could not disclosed the information unless I verified my info. The ended once I told her I was reporting them.

Got a call from a woman looking for someone with a name that is similar to my husband's name....it's a name that's been used when we see identity theft that we've seen on reports and that have messed with my husband's SS #.  Scary.  AND she was calling on a number we don't use for anything but for 'family-school.'
She wanted to verify information and was adamant to speak to my husband about 'business issues' - my husband breaks out in hives if he has to do anything regarding $, paperwork or business.  I do all of that.  . Didn't matter she wanted him and when I told her she had the name wrong she said, "Well you just don't know who is living with you then...."  Ha.  Like I'm to believe the man I married is someone different?  Hahahaha.  She hung up.  Must be a scam.  I've been dealing with credit collectors for years with the 'identity theft' and they talk and talk to anyone cause they just want to get their $.  This woman was interested in something else.  Scary that I don't know what it is.

OMG THEY CALLED MY MOM FIRST TO ASK FOR ME..AND SHE ASKED WHAT IT WAS REGARDING..THEY DID NOT SAY... THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL BACK...AND THEN A FEW MINUTES LATER I GET THE SAME CALL... I THINK ITS A SCAM TOO!!

yes they called me and told me that they have an important message for me. However before he could tell me what the message is about or from whom this message is i would have to give him my social and address. I told him that of course i will not give him that information without even having an idea who wants to know .... if it really is a collection agency why not say so ....

Collection agencies are getting smarter; they don't use 800 numbers anymore.  They call from local area-code exchanges to resemble callers in your city; 661, 310, 424, etc. AT & T and other phone companies set this up for them to fool you into picking up the phone.  Don't. Let?s all file bankruptcy and demand a citizens TARP bailout then deny the 2Big2Fail fats cats their multi-million dollar bonuses and private jets. We pay for their lifestyle as AmEx CEO Ken Chenault?s collects a $50.2 million dollar salary. Who's with me?

I been getting this call for several days now, they don't leave a message so when I was off I just pick up and the guy tried to collect $1.455.39

Indicating that he is a collector from citi bank, told me that my accound ended with the last four numers 7693.

Not true my accound numbers are different!
He ask to speak with my wife, giving me the wrong name.

That I used to live on an address that I never lived in before..
