Called nbr back & voice recording asks for opt-out push the #1 key...
This tells me they confirmed a valid telephone nbr & probably include it in an online database for other telemarketers...
Luckily, I have a reject list on all my phones, so they won't call again...
I too, am on the Do-Not-Call database & update it annually - but that doesn't stop these criminals...

I too received this phone call. Right away, I informed caller that I knew it was a scam call and I had already turned then into my local police department. He kept insisting it was not a scam but I wouldn't let him talk. The identifying name on top of telephone number was V82215235500051. Why kind of identifying [name] is this?

This number calls me a couple times a day for the last 2 weeks.  They leave No messages. I picked up the phone only once and it was silence on the other end.  Reported them to Do Not Call Registry and FCC.gov

I am fed up with this caller I found out they are using an automatic call system and are telemarketers.
I'm on the do not call list so why are they allowed to bother people endlessly?  What can be done about it.
I call them back and get a busy signal they can't be reached.  I want them to STOP NOW!

I received calls from the same number, and I live in Canada. So how can I complain to on calls from other countries.  Not sure where to turn to now.  I really hate these type of calls.

This number also claims to be a duct cleaning business....so wrong...these companies /people have to be stopped

some one called me and when i picked up their was silence. my caller id indicated it was Culver City CA.

Just got a call from this number. Didn't answer & no message left. Tried calling the number back but the line is busy, probably because they're harassing someone else.

I received this call and tried to call back three time and it was busy.

Got a call from these folks, Not a Robo call.  It was from a Call Center, as there was a delay for them to pick up.

They are 20/20 Reverse Mortgage - they were trying to peddle a Reverse Mortgage.
I am like Yea Right. Pay the Interest up first then the Principal - That makes NO Good business Sense!.

They guy on the phone was not from the USA, sounded more Indian.  It also did not sound like they were Brokers or Mortgage agents.  So, they are Not licensed to conduct that type of work.

They are totally targeting anyone over the Age of 62.

saw 3 missed calls the prior day and received call again, Talked with the person, she appears like using some kind of internet phone and appears like having chinese accent. She asked if its ok for her to send me a link and she want to talk to IT person in the company. I told her to hold on the line for me to transfer it to IT security fraud line, needless to say she hang up immediately

I have recieved 4 calls in two dfays from 310-495-5214 from Culver City Ca. It is in regards to a reverse mortgage.All 4 times I told them not to call again and take me off their list.Extremely annoying! They call all times of day or night.

All phone companies need to allow blocking of numbers (free of charge).  Many of these useless callers are nothing but a pain and waste of people's time.  If we could block them all this would stop.

Calls numerous times throughout the day and is always a dead line that drops after a few seconds of silence. Caller ID name always comes up as a "V" followed by a random string of about 12 digits. (like "V123456789012") After a few calls I entered the number in my cordless phone Call Block feature but they still call (my cordless phone allows it to ring once before dropping the blocked caller and logging the call)

It should be noted that I live in New Brunswick, Canada (about as far away from California as you can get) and there should be no one calling me from there... ever. I suspect these are automated phone calls, perhaps from someone who is mining personal information from web sites.

received 2 calls already today wanting to clean my air ducks , last week it was for cell phone bills told her to take me name off the calling list.

they have called me 4 times in 3 days...i finally answered and they wanted to know if i was the owner of the house and they knew my last name.... they wanted to clean the ducks in my house and told me there was no charge up from and i told them calling 4 times in 3 days for someone on a DNC list is crazy they said i'm sorry but did how big is our house? and if i still wanted my ducks cleaned.

Notwithstanding the annoying nature of these calls, I had to laugh at your comment.  I do think I understand what you mean in terms of hiring an American company to do work for you... but at the same time, American businesses are (unfortunately perhaps) all over Canada.  Have you ever gone to one of the many Starbucks that have infested Canada?  Ever shopped at Walmart, Home Depot, eaten at a Canadian McDonalds or Subway?  (Never mind that Target has now taken over Zellers!).

Have got a call from this number several days in a row. It is something to do with reverse mortage. I told them not to call my number again. If I want a reverse mortage, I will not do it with anyone who calls over the phone.

Got a call, Could not understant the Lady. Sounded from out of the US. Then I heard the word "LOAN"
Thats where I went to A lot of 4 letter words. Hope it was recored.
