Pepperdine fundraising. Not unusual per se, except they hang up three out of four times when you answer. None of my other schools do that. Perhaps the students working these lines are tired of making all these calls.

I did not go to this school and they have called a number of times. Whenever I pick up, nobody is on the other side.

I'm a current Pepperdine student and received a call.  The call was received a little after 6 pm but didnt answer.

It's Pepperdine University trying to get donations. They have a long winded approach starting with what did you enjoy about your classes...

This is definitely a chick from Pepperdine calling alumni to talk your ear off asking for money.  As if we don't have our own student loans and issues to pay for... come on!

Pepperdine Alumni Association seeking money from alums. They hired students to do this and have a call center where they sit for hours calling one alum after another.

I've had two calls from this number, no message either time.  When I call back, I get the main switchboard at Pepperdine University, but no specific identification of the caller.  I went to school there, but I don't know anyone in the dorms and the call is always too late to be from an office.

Tonya is right. I'm a Pepperdine alum. They're looking for money. The calls are usually received soon after I receive a letter from the Dean discussing all their accomplishments and goals.

I too received two phone calls with no message from this number on my cell phone.  This occurred on 11-22-2010 at 1:32 pm.  Nothing happens on the number when I call back.  I have a non-solisitation block on my phone, but this number has slipped through the system.   I now have the number blocked with my cell carrier - AT&T.
Yes, I graduated from Pepperdine University almost 30 years ago.

Got a call at our home looking for my daughter who presently attends Pepperdine.  Thought it was strange.

Yep, I just recieved a call and when I asnwered it, the girl asked for me specifically and then she hung up after I told here "this is her"

I am also a Pepperdine Alum, and received a call from this number.  Its the end of the year, so they are likely the alumni association asking for money.

I have had three calls from this number.  They do not leave a message.  I called back and a recording verifies that the number is from Pepperdine University. Since I am an alumni, I assume they are looking for a donation.

I got a call at 4:40 pm in San Diego.  They have called a couple times, and I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

Who ever this is , calls at night around 6-7PM PST. I never answer and they don't leave a message.
