i just received a call from this number.  they had my name and address something about publishers and that my bank had submitted my name for a sweepstakes.  i gave no information as they already had my address.  weird!!!!!!

The lady was nice to me until I called her back wanting to know what is this.  I rang the number back to see what the name of the company was and when it rang, the same young lady answered the phone ==hello.  with music in the background like it was her house phone.  no company name.  when i asked her to take me off of her calling list she wanted to know what my name was.  I gave her the number she just called and she said she can't use that she needs my name.  When I told her I don't have any credit cards, she told ME what I have...... She knew my address and I confirmed it.   What is this I wonder.  Hope it really is sweepstakes!!!  and not a sweep me out!! LOL

i just received this call yesterday. OMGGGGG!!! this lady was so rude. i was trying wen i called and i almost got into an accident because i was shocked at how rude she was. i called my cell phone provider and had her block. there should be something done about her!!!!

I just got a call from this number too on my cell phone and my cell phone is not a published phonenumber.  I asked who is this, she replied "Publishers Sweepstake" and you just won - I could not remember the rest.  I plead with her "DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN". I am in state of PA and this is a CA number, LA.  The only reason I answered is that I have an relative in CA at and thought it could be an emergency.  My cell phone number is only for emergencies.   I believed it was a scammed too, especially when she said something about you are eligible for a credit card.

I just got a call from this number. They asked for me by first name and I asked who was calling? The lady on the phone was very rude and said "Well are you Erica?" I said "who's calling?" again and she again repeated very rudely "Well are you Erica or not?" I said where are you calling from? and she said " Ugh. Publishers"! (something or other) I hung up and they kept calling back. I did not answer. I then tried to call back to see who would answer but phone was busy. I then started looking online regarding this number and came across this. I'm sure its a scam. they scammed one of my friend's mom (older lady) like this. They just called her to confirm her name and address and they told her that they were going to send her a package she won through mail. When they received the package they decided they might be being scammed so decided to return it unopened. The people then started calling her back telling her that they were sue her because she came into a verbal contract with them that she would get package and open it. and now they wanted for her to at least pay the shipping costs that they had spent sending it to her ($175.00 according to them) Then they had a supposive lawyer calling them telling them that he was hired by that company and she was being sued. They kept harassing her until she changed her number. Like I said she never gave them any info except for her address. The number was from Florida.

How is it a California number gets cell numbers, and that even posting about it here makes no difference?

they left a recording on our voice male, all I could here was laughling.. like they didn't even know they had called me...

Just got a call from this phone number an dmy hunny answer the phone. he talked to give them our address and I took the phone away from him and asked if i could help ? the lady on the other end said hey he was about to give me his address I said what for? she told me not to worry about it. I then inform her i was his wife and we DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO to anyone. she then reply Oh my god and hung up....

Got a call from this number.. Said we were entered into a drawing and needed more info...  Caller id said Ellis Isl  Girl hung up when asked how she got name number and address and we just got this line and have not given number to anyone..

I also just recieved a call from this #.  I was on the phone with someone else and I heard the busy signal through our conversation...when I got off, I tried to call it back and it just rang and rang.  I tried several times since and got busy signals...so I searched the # on enternet and this is the info I got.  Thank You!

I just received a call from 310-539-7193. the guy said he was calling from publishers..not publishers clearing house, just publishers. he didn't ask me for any information. just told me to look out for a letter in the mail, because my name was pulled for a sweepstakes..who knows? i was a bit rude at first..thinking he was going to try to sell me something. but he didn't and we hung up on a good note..so i don't know what's up with that call.

i also gotacall from this number asked if i was home and i asked who is this certainly right after they hung upand after that never stopped being busy

They've called me a few times today. I had a call from this # in the past and it was some guy that didn't even speak English so I just ignore it. The thing that bothers me is they keep calling my cell which is unlisted. It's getting frustrating.

They called me as well. Not sure who they are or how they got my number.

called saying they were from publishers sweepstakes and that my bank giving me some free magazine and they were entering me in a chance to win a car . they had my home address . I told them i was out of work the lady kept talking a little then hung up I tried to call back  to make sure they did not sign me up for anything .I get busy's or no answer evertime I call back .I did not give them any bank info or credit card info . i doid a reverser look up of the number it had a ladys name and address when I looked up the address it is an assited living retirement home .I already contatced my state  attorney general and the state of californias also . i was on a do not call list  and my phone # is un published  .I checked with my bank and credit card company today no one has tried to put charges against my  crdit card or my bank .I am afraid these people have more info on me

They Called me just a few min. ago at 5:48 on Nov. 10 2010. I answered and he said Is this Kortney and i said yes and he hung up. I Tried calling back and he hung up then i called back again and it sounded like people talking in the back ground and the person was picking up the phone and trying to dial out and then i hung up and when i called back again it hangs up on me before anyone even answers like its not a working number...

Did they say what they wanted?  I have had a few missed calls from this number
