Have your cell phone block this number, and do not call back. As soon as you call back there will be a strange amount of phone charge which will be a few dollars. I think people won't bother with their carrier to settle this since it's just too time consuming to resolve. However, somebody is collecting those few dollars using this number. Block the number. Your phone company will refund the charge if you talk to them. And have them aware of this number being used for a scam.

310-555-1212 number has been calling my cell phone. When I try to call back (since I missed a call), it took $2.09 away from my pay as you go phone balance which is supposedly 10 cents a minute call to anybody in US.
I talked to ATT about it, and they gave me a balance. It looks like some sort of scam/phising to take money from your phone balance. Please do not call back this number and just block it in your phone.

I received the same call. I called the number back and a very gruff woman answered "what city?" I said wgat is this number associated with she stated 411!!!!!

Computerised voice told me my account for (inaudible) had been locked. It told me to press 1, and then it quit. Very weird.

Got a nasty message from this number telling me they were going to close my account ( no precision )
It looks like a scam
I also got another call from a 202-241-1366 telling me that they were the IRS and to call them back right away if I did not want to be in trouble , of course I did not call back as certainly it is a scam
