Caller identified himself as Bob Austin from Trade Tech Institute trying to get you to invest in an automated trading program. Fees tend to be high, but most concerning is that such companies typically rely on performance schedules based on trades produced by their computer model instead of provable actual past trading results. If not interested, you may request to be put on their DO NOT CALL list. If you keep a record of their calls, you may be surprised how often you still get called.

Received a call today about 4:10 pm. As with Joe Hannes'  note above, the same caller made a sales pitch for Trade Tech automated trading system. How the caller got my name and private phone number is a mystery to me. When I asked the caller to direct me to his website he immediately hung up.

These folks have called me for months .... if I talk to a person to ask to get off their calling list, they hang up on me.   The first person I talked to, would not even tell me what he was selling, when I asked him.   I finally found their actual call in number, and asked to be taken off the calling list (and hopefully that shall work out).  It is 1 888 934-6684.   If you think that they are an ethical company, selling a good product ... then that seems at odds with the fact that they are breaking LOTS of rules/laws regarding telephone solicitation and whatnot (likewise ... if the system is so good that that are selling, then the telephone solicitors would be at home making money from the system, instead of calling folks about it).    They have called me from at least 20 different numbers ... two different prefixes for the last 6 or 7 months.  Whatever they think they are accomplishing by the constant harrassment... is beyond me.

See JERK LIST on May 13, 20, 25. Today is May 26 and this is the third call today.  JERKS that are wasting their time.  I answer and they hang up.

This number calls about 3-4 times a week, no one on line when I answer.

The caller was terrifically rude. I have PhoneValet on my Mac and numbers like this go right on the blocked call list. That way the call is 86ed when the y call back again.

Big fraud. When I asked them to prove what they said, the Bozo said he couldn't prove it. Anyone who can't prove what they say is a fraud.

I get this call every night, no one on the line when answer after the 1st ring or the 2nd.

(310) 558-5169 belongs to Trade Tech, who sells a trading system with huge front-loaded fees. They claim their systems make enormous profits, but if you read the fine print and factor in the brokerage fees that they specifically omit from their trading results, the results you will actually see vary from significant losses to negligible profit. The trading results that they advertise do not include the $20 one-way cost of each trade. When those trading costs are factored in, even Trade Tech's past performance is negligible.

This number calls me several times every week. No one is there and when I phone it back, I get a message saying the number is disconnected or no longer in service. They are fishing for something. I will report them to law enforcement.
