I really don't understand who this is 1-310-568- 6007 keeps calling me,this is the second time..
Saying they can lower my mortgage rates,
But in order to do that I had to tell him how much unsecured debt I had,I also had to tell him what my house was worth in order to make the deal go through.
He said he's calling from Toronto,Ontario

This person keeps calling inquiring about mortgages, and how much you owe. Sounds to me like these people are trying to get personal information so they can possibly run some sort of scam. When I told the male on the other end of the line to not call this number again, he replied that he would call my number again if he chose to. Spoke with a foreign accent; for your own good, I would not answer any of their questions.

This is a scam operation calling itself "Debt-Free Lifestyle Today."

A recording from "cardholder services" threatens that this will be the final notice (if only!); sometimes it's a man, other times a woman, always with a different name.

Press 1 to speak with a person.

(If you get disconnected, you can call these losers back at 310-568-6007 or 877-282-3707; they have also called me from a variety of area code 406 numbers.)

No matter how many times you deal with them, you'll probably speak with somebody different, always an American-sounding name but a foreign-sounding accent.  I've talked with Janie, Roger, Vivian, Jason, Henry, Ivan, among others.  If you push hard enough, you'll discover that the supervisors have last names - like Phillip Reed, Dexter Young, and Nathan Howard.  (Mr. Howard claims to be the top man; he has no boss, he says.)  It's kind of fun getting through to the actual managers, since most are fictional (like "Mrs. Promin") and spend their entire days in a meeting and can never come to the phone!

The first-line guys think the "company" is based in Boca Raton, FL, but the managers claim it's in Inglewood, CA.  One thing is for sure:  NOBODY will give you an actual mailing address.

They call 2-3 times a day, despite my being on the Do Not Call list and after numerous requests for them to cease and desist calling me.  I've gotten this far in the game.  How can I sue them without knowing their address?  Help!

I just received an unsolicited call on my office phone number from ?Card Holder services? . A woman wanted to offer me a lower card interest rate. She did not ask for me by name. I asked how they got my number, and they replied ?From the bank?. I asked what card company they represented, and they replied ?All cards that you hold?. They then wanted me to give them all of my credit card information!  I didn?t bite.

The call came in from number 701-217-1659.  I asked for a call back number and was told 310-568-6007. When I called back the phone was answered by a man "Debt Services".

I called my financial advisor who said he has never heard of any such credit card rate solicitation that was legitimate.

I got 4 calls from the same man(asian accent) today. He was asking for someone I have never heard of. I told him on the 3rd call that I was going to get harrassment against him if he didnt stop calling. He said he would take my # off the list. Exactly 3hrs, he called again. I told him that I was calling the police and filing charges for harrassment. He hung up on me immediately. Im waiting to see if he calls back.

Survey
Got a call from someone claiming to represent "all banks in the US - excuse me - Canada", wanting to discuss my mortgage via some kind of survey.  When I told him I would not discuss my mortgage with anyone other than a direct representative of my bank and asked him to take me off the list, I then got about 20 calls back again and again - if I answered I just had heavy breathing and if I refused to answer it would ring and ring until they hung up and called again.  When I called the number directly a woman answered and did not identify a company name - when I asked to speak with a supervisor she asked me to provide her with my phone number and when I refused she told me that the supervisor "isn't here right now".  This number is sooooo clearly a scammer, don't talk to them!

Caller stated she was from "Debt Free Lifestyle Today"- she had an asian accent and said that I was preapproved for a lower interest rate on my credit cards- as low as 6.5%.  Wanted to verify my personal information, name and address etc.  I told her to tell me what she had and I would verify.  She said that is was merely a referal from the computer and that she did not have my information.  She became flustered when I asked her if this was true then how could she verify that I was pre-approved?  I asked for her number and name and was given this number and her name as Mrs. Promin.

Followup on previous entry.  This company is now aware of this scam.  He apparently intercepts orders and attempts to solicit credit card numbers.  He is NOT with Easy White Labs.  NEVER give out your credit card number over the phone, if you don't know who you're talking too!

On 7/1/09 I received a call from "Warren Woods" at this number, stated extension # 4397.  I had ordered a trial from Easy White Labs for less than $2.00 S&H only.  No product has arrived (order placed and confirmed by email on 6/28/09).  This person wanted to "verify my information" including name, address, email, and my full credit card number.  I refused.  He was very annoyed, but I took his number (he insisted I ask ONLY FOR HIM ON CALLBACK).  He did have my name, address & email (and obviously phone number, too).  I am calling the company to investigate.
