You can block this caller.  iPhone has this feature.

They called me too, and I did shop at Target recently.

I have been receiving these calls for months.  I get them on my land line and also my cell.  They say "Last chance to take advantage of lowering your rate on your credit card".  It also says to press "2" if you don't want to receive the calls.  I have pressed 2 at least a dozen times and also told them that I am on the DO NOT CALL registry and I DO NOT want calls from them.  All I get is someone that speaks broken English and hangs up on me.  I also tried calling back to speak to a manager (haha) and it just rings about 25 times and then the line cuts off.  There has to be a way to stop these annoying people that won't get a REAL job!!!

I talked with a wonderful person at Giovine Cap and this is not their number and they are in touch with Verizon to stop the references to their company from being used by an unknown telemarketer they think is called: Capital Credit Card Services. I will post more if I can find anything else out so we can hassle back for fun. Please do not call Giovine. THey are having a terrible time with this.

310.587.2046 belongs to Giovine Capital Group LLC (GCG). GCG IS NOT responsible for these calls.  The number was stolen by a credit card company called Capital Credit Card Services who is using the number to mask where they are calling from. Giovine Capital is in touch with their telephone provider services at the security level trying to catch the people who are doing this. Regrettably, this method of telemarketing called spoofing is technically not illegal - but their use of do not call lists is.  GCG has requested the number be disconnected but this takes 2-3 business days.  You can block the number directly at your phone company level.

Just got this message and like everyone else/female voice/urgent call about credit card and lower interest/ when I called back an Asian sounding man answered and said something about visa mastercard/city bank/chase bank/ I have neither.  Asked to be taken off the phone list and was disconnected/tried to call back got a busy signal and no one answered.  SO ANNOYING SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!

I get these calls often but this is the first that the caller ID showed "Giovine Cap Grp 310-587-2046" Always the same recording about lowering credit card interest rates and "this is your last call" haha thats funny....I wish it would be the last call then I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. Today I pressed 1, first the human did not speak English well enough to understand, then said they had all of my information and I would not have to give any over the phone myself. He asked about the 1st # on my card then tried to squeeze out some more, but still, he had that info already. I started drilling him on why I would need to give him any info if he already knew it all. Finally I wasn't enjoying my end of the game anymore and hung up on him. Gee how long until I get the next "last chance I will ever have to lower my rates" phone call? Give it up and get a job like the rest of us!!!

Got a phone call from this number. I didnt recognize the number and I didn't pick up. When I tried to call it back, it rang forever and nobody picked it up.

It's a scammer/criminal/ugly loser using a Santa Monica number.  

Don't answer.  Add to address book and block.

The local cops will be knocking on their door shortly with some shiny bracelets.

Credit Card scam

These guys call from different numbers all the time. If you have yourself removed from their call list, they just start calling you from one of their other numbers. I always say vulgar things to them just because. The script they say to you is something to the effect of "Save money on your current credit cards, this is your final notice" to try to make it sound important; its just a sales script. I did not even have any credit cards when they first started calling me with this script.

Got a call from this number on my cell.  Since I know no one in Santa Monica, CA, I didn't answer.  So glad to see these comments from others about the call.  Such BS!

These people have been calling both my husband and I incessantly. We are on the Do Not Call List.

The "Do Not Call Registry" is an absolute farce!!  They likely sell those numbers to these perverts!

What audacity!!!  Calling my cell number!  I am going to visit them PERSONALLY, since I fly for free and have friends in Santa Monica, a personal visit to these maggots is in line....

Got a call from this number with no message left. I called it back and it rang and rang with no voicemail picking up or recording. I am one of the Target/Chase hacked card holders that is part of that stolen card data, so it may be someone trying to access my info from that. I'm going to block the number.

Got a call from this number. Something about my credit rating being raised if I didn't take advantage of the offer.  Hung up on them.  Called back later, twice. It rang off of the hook both times, with no answer.  Glad I checked here.

Called my land line and left a pre-recorded message on my answering machine. The female voice said something about "last chance" to lower credit card interest rates. They shouldn't be calling back because I didn't take advantage of my "last chance," but I am not holding my breath. I have PhoneTray on my computer to block future calls from this number.

This call came on my cell phone. It was an automated voice talking about my credit card. I hung up and was furious that a call like that would come on my cell.

I'm on the do not call lists, too. Only bad guys will violate those. Best wishes to you for a complete recovery.
