car warranty

Called me 15 minutes ago..Auto Warranty scam.  I have repeatedly reported them to the Federal Do Not Call registry and filed a complaint with my state attorney general.

none-i dont answer them anymore-but i know they are calling in reguards to my auto warrenty running out. Funny cause i never had one in the first place.

This number has been calling a 9-1-1 Center and comes through as an abandoned call. When we try to call back, it won't even ring. At first we thought there was a problem with the phone line, but its now obvious that it's only happening with this number. All normal telemarketing numbers we are able to call and request to be removed.

changed number 5 times they just keep calling i hope to find them.

this bs scam is too much. The fools ask you what car you drive, answer yours and they hang up, next time tell them that you drive a 9mm holow point into there shull and they hang up faster. wish I could track this to the people running this scam, sure do have a big can of whoop a** to dish out for the aggravation

Same as above - I asked her for a name & number and she refused.

This number called us about a bogus car warranty. Spam. Really irritating.

I selected option "2" to connect with the company. The lady that answered the phone asked the make and model of the vehicle I drove. When I asked her the name of her company and if it was in relation to the type of vehicle I drive, she hung up on me.  No way to do any kind of business.  Besides this is my work phone, so I couldn't tell if this was business or personal related.

I get regular calls from these b***hes.  I got 2 on Saturday, and one today.  To my work number.  It's really annoying.

Same scam different number. They claim to be National Warranty Services and they want to sell you and extended warranty for you car. I know your not dumb enough to buy this but have some fun with them. It's not like they are going to stop calling. I always ask a bunch of questions till they hang up on me.

We receive regular calls from this number, auto-dialed and usually claiming to be abouit an auto warranty's expiration.  Obviously phony.

People from this number keep calling my work number, roughly 16 times a month for the past year and a half. I actually started making a tally over a year ago out of curiosity. When I press 2 for my name to be removed the system hangs up on me, then it will call back within an hour. When I press 1 and get an actual person they ask for the year make and model of my car. All I have to say is please remove my number from your list and they hang up on me. It's extremely frustrating as it is my WORK number.

After telling them to take me off their call list for well over a year; now they call me and "they hang up on me". I guess the computer calls my number and then when I pick up - a HUMAN must get ready to speak to me but then sees my numerous complaints and they hang up. What a waste of time! This should be illegal!

I am SO frustrated with these people I am now resorting to the whistle.  Maybe if I make them uncomfortable enough, they will quit calling.   I did tell them last time (an hour ago) that I contacted my attorney and will be prosecuting.  I asked his name, and he told me...and I said I would make sure that he was specifically named in the lawsuit.  He hung up.  Go figure!

These Telemarketing callers/firms are smart and use telephone services like Digit Com so you can't find them but Digit Com can block their customer (the Telemarketer) from calling you.

They have been calling me for the last few months! Always a different number. I'm glad i'm not the only one these people are harassing. I was told the company was called "Warranty Services" and that's it, when i asked for her supervisor because she was so rude, she made a nasty comment and hung up.

I'm going to start noting all the numbers being called from and the dates and form a case against them.

These people are a pain!  They call our business number several times a day.  Same experiences as all of you have cited.  In spite of the do not call registry, this company persists.  Isn't there a way to get this to stop???

i live overseas with the military...nothing is more annoying now that we have stateside numbers!!!  since we are half a day ahead of the states, we get calls all hours of the night, waking my little ones up.....they have been calling for the last year, and our phone company wants to charge me to block that number or charge me to get a new number....wtf!!  i get f*cked either way!!!!  we let everyone know about it here!  this is crazy and must be stopped!  i am so frustrated with this.....not only are the good people of the states getting annoyed but i speak for this military family too!

i got the call from them today and when i looked at the caller i.d. it caid compton C.A. i was like f*** that s**t

They keep calling my 90 year old aunt about a car.  She doesn't have one and she has told them.

I was getting calls from 310-599-5636 and now I'm getting calls from 323-429-7500 same exact company. I told them I have a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT California <Ferris Bueler> and they immediately hung up. I hate these people!

These people are calling me at work and on my cell.  They call all my coworkers - you can hear the phones ring around the room in succession.  I work at a University and everyone on campus is getting these calls and can't get them to stop.  They have called my husband on his cell.  They say its a second notice that my car warranty is set to expire.  When I select the option to speak with a prepresentative I'm disconnected when I begin to complain.

Hey I work for a warranty company, and it is really dificult to be in the warranty business, the people that work there are normal people like you and me trying to make money, to feed our famillies and pay bills. When the few people that actually buy warranties, they give a legit warranty that is suited for there car. One that will acaully cover everything on your car so your not stuck hearing ohhhh this part isn't covered. Thoese are the ones that the dearlership sell which is garbage. We know the calls are really annoying to get but if you buy at leaset one and ignore the rest of calls your supporting one american person. These things help build the american economy. and keep people from being without a job. An average warranty only sells 9 - 12 warranties a day, and they are emplying 25 people. Thats alot and an average  warranty only cost $1965.00 and usaully they offer an incentive if yoiur paid it all off which is like $200.00 off the policy. and most of the time if you can't afford they offer interest free financing. I like my job but its hard, and it got harder because of the new FTC ammendment that took place sept. 1 2008. What ever the company is probably on its last straw before they shut there doors.

It wasn't the same number, but it was the same schtick. Auto-dialed calls, same nonsense with pressing 2 and being connected to someone who, when you asked to be put on the DNC list, hang up on you.  Every time.  The number called from was 562.223.8806.  I doubt they remove you from the calling list because every time I get the same message when I call it back, try to be removed, and still get calls. The last time I pressed 2, I asked to speak to a manager immediately, and was hung up on. I'm getting in contact with BBB and all the other crap for investigation.  Looks like its a number from Compton, CA. What a surprise.

Got a FINAL WARRANTY NOTICE from them yesterday.

Theres people are ruthless a**holes - when you ask them to remove you - they hang up.  When you hit option one to be removed - they quit calling for about a week then start again.  When I tried to call them back at the number they called me from - it imediately disconnects.  I get calls daily.  It's an LA number so I filed a complaint with the CA consumer affairs department - like that's going to do any good.  I hope this a**holes burn in hell!
