The automated system says,"Your car warranty has expired, you can still take advantage of extending it by talking to a representative now! If you wish to talk to an representive concerning your car warranty press 1 now. (I pressed 1)When the male rep came on line, and asked for my name," I said who is this?" and the rep slammed down the phone. The call was disconnected.

"Your car warranty is about to expire -- Press 1 to talk to a warranty expert!"
Guaranteed scam. I don't have a car warranty, never had one.
This seems very similar to many other scams I have read about.
