They called here trying to extend a vehicle warranty, but had no data on my name/vehicle/warranty. Total scam and the rep got super snappy with me when I asked for more info.

Got a call from this number on my work phone. It was not about warranty. It was a recording about helping you if your home is in foreclosure or if you are having credit problems. ANOTHER SCAM ARTIST!

Back again, this time we've been receiving calls on my nanna's cell phone. She has one of those older prepaid phones just for emergencies so everytime they would call and it would go to voice mail, there would be a message left with just dead air wasiting her minutes. So the other day, I picked up the phone the message told me to wait to speak to a represenative a guy named John picks up. This time instead of swearing at the guy and threatening to tear him a new one I played stupid. "What...what do you mean the warranty on my vehicle is about to expired? We had to sell our car a few months ago we couldn't afford it anymore..." John seemed really apologetic asked if there was anyone else in the household who had a car. I apologized again and said no, but asked if he would like the number for the people we sold the car to, he said no thank you but said he would remove our number from the do not call list. We havn't gotten a call yet, hopefully this is the last time. So if you get the chance, try telling them you don't own a car.
Just have to pay nanna back for the minutes I used though now :\

no response when answering call. when i called back, it said something like "press 1 to be removed from our marketing list. it may take up to 72 hours..."

Like the previous commenter here, it was a vehicle warranty call received at my work direct line. The person I got today (unlike "Heather" yesterday) was a nice enough guy who actually apologized and didn't hang up on me when I said to remove my number from their list. He supposedly put my number on the do not call list. Well, he verified the number and said he would put it on the do not call list; will see in a few days if he really did or not if the calls stop. I don't own a car so it's pretty annoying to get these calls. It was the second one in two days but the one yesterday didn't have a caller ID number. Also this number showed up on caller ID earlier today but I was on another call and didn't answer it. At least this time it was on my work number and not my cell phone so no wasted minutes for a change. I did register my cell phone number in November at donotcall.gov and I haven't gotten any more of these calls on my cell in quite awhile. I added my work number yesterday but the site says it can take 31 days.

phone rang, no vm left. i didnt bother calling back. goggled the number and came across this site first. figured to log it. --- screen your calls. dont answer or waste your cell phone mins by giving an unknown number your time. dont press 1, do not pass go. if it is important in the slightest, whatever it is should be sent in writting, certified if they care. do not give any information.

Well this it the first call I got from these people, I don't have a car and even if I did I wouldn't be dumb enough to give my information over the phone to them. So anyways, I wait on the line to speak with a represenative a man named Mike picks up gives the company name and says he has to ask me some questions before the can continue with the call. So, I ask him where he's located and he gives me the name of the company. I ask him again where he is located and he became very rude saying it was none of my business. So I called him several names and also told him what I would do to him if he did not remvove my number from the list. He said, very poiltely that he would remove my number from the do-not call list (probably lying) and then hung up. When I tried to call back I got an automated message saying that if I wanted my number removed I just had to push one, but of course the machine hung up on me before this could be done.

got a call on my private cell phone and i just changed the number 2 weeks ago! idk how they got my number and to riccardo - wat is code 3112 ?
ttgg 2009-03-19 18:31:10 Unknown
2 calls on cell phone today - no message left - To Riccardo, a legit company would have the courtesy to leave a message telling who they are, not just hang up and then dial again an hour later.

This number is from a company called Media Alliance, a non prof organization aimed at reducing the amount of foreclosures in the country. Their experts will assist you in saving your home with no money down and I highly recommend it. They get their numbers from wireless providers under a false pretext allowed by loopholes in privacy laws. If you call your wireless provider and tell them that 310 599 9113 is calling you and the you want to code 3112, they will stop. Also pushing 1 to be removed from their calling list is also another loophole. To actually be removed from their list, by law, you have to do it online or person to person.

310-599-9113 automated call 3 to 4 times a day says it is a va home loan problably a scam
annoyed 2008-12-02 16:48:57 Unknown
this automated dialer calls us 3-4 times a day. Even when we express we don't want the call, they call back. Today, received 2 within the hour. When you call back, you get another automated recording a regret because they only call business listings, and press "1" if you want your number removed from their calling list.
the initial call was to congratulate me on having great credit and I could eliminate 1/2 my debt by responding. If I had such great credit, why would I want to do this?
how do you find out who is prompting this call and how to you get it to stop?
sikajunk 2008-11-26 17:03:38 Unknown
I am thinking of spending the $15 for a reverse phone lookup so I can go there and physically removing my number.

bothering us at night with call
SuperVT 2008-10-09 21:25:56 Unknown
We have received several calls from 310-599-9113 this week, but when the call is answered no one says anything, not even an automated message; then after a few seconds of silence, we are disconnected. When I call back the number, it indicates their regret because they only call business listings, and press "1" if you want your number removed from their calling list.
The removal process has been done several times and has not worked so far, because they keep calling, 2 calls today within 4 hours of each other.
I am looking for the next step to stop these annoying calls. Please advise.
