just got a call

Seems like i get these types of out of the area code phone calls 2x a day. Most of them are factory warranty, Spanish recordings or lower your house interest rate. I Ignore any phones calls I am not familiar with because I have prepaid. It's like I have been getting these types for phone calls 4 months straight!

I received this call on my home phone about 30 minutes ago - glad I looked it up here before I called it back.

I wonder if following their instruction to opt out would really keep them from calling or selling our numbers? That will just confirm that our numbers are active. Just like spam emails asking you to reply to opt out, it just gives them the confirmation your email is active.
Maybe call your auto company or car insurance to make sure they are not sharing or selling your info with other sleazy companies.

Just got a call from this number.  No one on the other line.  I called back after seeing these posts and got a telephone operator that said that number I just called is not in service.  I wouldn't be answering the phone for strange numbers if I was not in the middle of a job hunt.

this # just called my cell phone. since i did not recognize it, i did not answer it. i am glad i did not.

recieved a call from 310-599-9171 at 10:11am CT, i didn't get to it before they hung up, called back, automated message w/numerical options... very strange...beware, very suspicious

Just received call, 10:23 central time.  Called back and opted out of future calls per previous post.

Received call on cell phone but did not answer knowing full well that it is the auto warranty mess that I have been receiving constantly for the last six months---all from different area codes.  The calls are becoming more frequent.

We need a law to stop this joker.

I just got a call too from this number, at 10am on my cell. Going to call back to opt out. Anyone know the company?

This is a continually rolling car warranty sales scam. Always a different caller ID, no name and no message.

just got a call on my cell. i phoned back and got the recording mentioned in the last post - pressed 1 and will hopefully be removed from the call list.

Just called the number back--it's a recording that says "Thanks for calling back!  If you are not interested in receiving any future calls for our promotions, please press 1 to be put on our do not call list..."  Pretty simple.  So, if the number calls...answer or don't, but then call back and press 1---and that should stop any future calls.

I just got a call on my cell from this number 310-599-9171.  Call came in at 9:30am on a Monday morning.
