After playing the game of "Decipher the Caller ID Acronym" on  CMTN GRDN CA this morning's mystery call, and thought I would look up the answer online.  Yay, I was right:  Compton Gardena California.  Of course no clue as to what Robert Carmichael (owner, per Intellius) is up to.  More schemes and scams, no doubt.  Sorry Robert, I am not contributing to your beach house payments!

Received phone call with what sounded to me to be Spanish speaking male person. Had no idea what he (or the program )was talking about. This phone number is from California.(or are the cell phone companies manipulating the phone number or area codes to disguise where the number is actually coming from? I have received several phone call attempts from this number.

CMTN GRDN CA  represents the call center located in Compton - Gardena, CA. Verizon wireless does not permit any of their clients' name to be revealed on Caller ID. Your caller was from CMTN GRDN CA; just scroll to show the phone number.

A few cell phone users I know in the LA area, none of whom either work or live anywhere near either Compton or Gardena, have their phone numbers show up on a receiver's display as showing CMTNGRDN.  Does anyone know why this is?

Got a call May 12th, 11:01am and called back and it didnt work, I hate them.

Got a call form 310-682-9898 this morning around 6:00 a.m. I pick it up but no body answered.  I did a search for the number and I found this page.  If they call again I won't pick it up.

Received same call as everybody else. I am a member of intelius so I ran the number and this is what I got back.

 I hope this helps everybody and I cannot verify the accuracy of this info other than it is what Intelius comes back with when I put the number in their search engine. And it is a pay for info site with some credibility.

In Northern California, got a call from this number a few hours ago. Didn't call back after reading all this! =/

Wow. I live in Vegas and found the number on missed calls at 5:58pm.... I get a lot of these weird calls.

indeed, so annoying!!! didn't recognize the phone number, so didn't answer it. received call on 05.11.07 @13:40 in Phoenix, AZ.

Blah blabity blah, missed call, no info.  Annoying!

Same thing for me; on a cell in San Francisco. This is the second time--- last time I got a Spanish-Language voicemail message.

Was at work so didn't answer - but also got the call. No voice message was left.

missed call -- no message.  called 5.11.07 at 2:34pm.

got a call about 3 hours ago.  I didn't answer but when I called back it's a disconnected number.

This is very odd indeed. The same thing happened to me at 2:18pm today. I'm in Las Vegas and that number is located in Marina Del Rey. I almost thought it was my friends sister until I found your post. How so very very strange.

I just got this call about 2 hrs ago. What the heck? It's disconnected. There's got to be a way to track this fool.

I also missed a call on May 11, 2007, 12:11 p.m. from this number, came to the web to find out who it is and found this string. Hopefully it will help stop these annoying calls.

I don't answer calls I don't recognize but I did get CMTN GRDN     CA on my caller ID whatever that means

I have been getting this and others on my Verizon cell phone. Sometimes twice. Verizon will or cannot do anything about these. So now after the call is "missed", I save it to a high number in my phone book and set the ringer to "inactive".  Thus  if the call comes in again, it will not ring. It's not much but at least I am not bothered.

Just received call in spanish, deos anybody know what it said>?
