got a call from this number and when i asked who it was, they hung up

Stop calling asked for me by name, waited a while, hung up. Stop Calling caller ID shows 310 687-1137.

It is the same solar scam that gives different generic Solar Company descriptions so if you try to google the name you get just a bunch of untracable junk. They use many false caller IDs. This time tried to say they are paid by the govt. I challenged the idiot about how they get paid by the govt is by taking the rebate money. He said yes. This is total misrepresentation. I asked if the guy liked getting soliciting calls at his house? If he doesn't like the calls then why does he feel he isn't scum for doing the same work? He said he will remove my # from his list and hung up. I have figured out the ones that are difficult to nail and just give them the crap back about how they feel dealing with the same type of scumbags calling their house

1) fake caller ID
2) won't give true company information that can be traced back
3) lie about being a solicitor
4) wasting oxygen that good human beings could be using

I wish all illegal telephone solicitors heads would just explode when they put a phone to their ear

I have received many calls from these solar scam telemarketers and I see they have a new number. These people as such crooks that they are afraid to give their company name on the call ID.

this number keeps calling everyday, probabbly trying to sell s***.  Trying to call them back to preach them , but not getting thru.  Such a cower.  
"310-687-1137"  is just a vegie.  

10/28 16:20 Had called at least 10 times and was finally able to block a couple of mos. ago.  Now only rings once, then call is cut off.  May finally get message if continues to happen to them.

Called. Didn't pick up.  They left no message but let my answering machine hear the background noise of their boiler room operation.

7/22  DNC does absolutely nothing.  Have been called at least 10 times, never answered but still whoever "they" are keep trying.  It seems that all we can do is continue to fail to respond.

7/22 13:29  10th time called.  So FED UP with this garbage (most polite term I can conjure up).  Now blocked, I hope.  Really dislike calls that leave messages asking for me by first name.  Troubling, to say the least since they are asking an answering machine.

They have called every day for the last week.  I don't answer.  the call every 15 minutes or so.  Getting to be a pain in the neck.

They call and call, and we don't answer EVERY time. I am not sure what the DNC list does for anyone!

After months of getting these annoying calls I realized that my phone has a built-in call blocking feature.  I means entering each number into a "block" list as it become apparent that they're spam calls, but still it's better than nothing (and better than paying the phone companies to do it for you).  My phone's block list can hold 30 numbers.  Not perfect but I HAVE noticed a definite improvement...particularly from those calls that used to harass me several times a day.

Used google voice to call them back a number of times.  The number rings and disconnects.

This number just called me for the third time in 15 minutes.  I do not pick up the phone for "unknown" callers and this is really, really irritating.

They have called numerous times today. Never leave a message!

They have been calling a lot.  Do not leave a message when I don't take the call because I don't recognize the number.

We have been getting calls from this number for several months now.  I have not been answering but a month ago I did.  Asked if my name was so and so and I said yes.  Then he hung up.  I dialed the number and I get a message that the number is not in service.

Again?  Same experience as Seriously.  Mid-month seems to be these fools trigger.  GIVE IT UP CREEPS.

What is their problem?  Just called again asking for Mr or Mrs.  Gee, they gave me about 1/2 hr. respite.  Idiots listen to recorded message and still ask for someone!

Called yesterday evening .  Called again a few minutes ago asked for Mr or Mrs.  then hung up.  Stupid!  Last night it was a guy so busy laughing he could barely get name out, today it was a young-sounding female.  Whatever the case may be, am not about to answer unsolicited or expected phone calls.  Do these people check 800Notes?

Called at 9:51 am.  Foreign sounding person, struggled with our last name and asked for my husband.  Hung up when I asked who was calling.

Have been calling since last Dec.  No ID and although asked for me by name, didn't leave message.  When will these jerks finally understand that if a call continues to be unanswered, it is probable it won't be.

Called 4 times within a half hour yesterday.  Told them if they were soliciting something to take us off list. Woman replied "I am not soliciting anything, I just want to talk to the homeowner about solar improvements".  Ummmm???? Shaking  my head.  This was the same woman I told yesterday that the homeowner was out of town for 2 weeks, yet they still called twice last night and then this morning.

Someone just called me from this number. Hung up and didn't leave a message. I called back and recording said it was disconnected.

Answered on 2nd ring. Heavy breathing on the other end. Hung up and re-dialed, fake disconnection msg plays back.

Receive calls almost daily from this "out of area" number but they never leave a message. Call number back and get "number not in service" recording.

Ditto - has happened to us about 4 times in the last month.  Have no idea what it means.

Have been getting these calls from various numbers for weeks now. I do not answer any calls from numbers I do not recognize. This one did not leave a message - as usual.

It is evident that the National Do Not Call Registry is  ineffective controlling these calls so you are basically on your own to deal with them.

Thanks to the 'Caller ID' feature  I can screen the calls but I have to drop what I am doing to check the caller. Quite a nuisance!

Just tried again.  Never give up, do they?  I will continue not to answer and to report every call.  Maybe, eventually something will come from all of these reports.  Somehow, sometime, we will be able to free ourselves of these nuisances, but I'm not holding my breath that it will happen anytime soon!!
