I'm just curious why you aren't going to pay them back.

They also call from different numbers....I do not plan to give them a dime. Today is my due date and I say they call 21 times today...I closed my bank account

Dilbert Services aka CashCall aka Western Sky Loans.  Many states have successfully sued Western Sky for their business practices, and terminated further business in those states.  Some internet postings appear to indicate these are all the same company operating under the various names, and calls from them come from numerous states caller ID?s (likely spoofed).  In Oregon the State Atty Gen?l Office and the Consumer Protection Dept successfully sued them earlier this year, but even after paying back the requisite original amount received they continue to call constantly.  In my case these are logged by my phones and being reported to the Atty Gen?ls office for further actions.  Also upon first call received it was clear this collection attempt was disputed by me and they continue to call daily, multiple times.  I was advised that this may be in breach of Federal Law requiring them to send supporting documentation and contact me no further for 30 days.  These folks appear to be a class act that cannot understand English, have no respect for State laws, and now possibly Federal laws.  Log and report everything to your local officials if they too continue to hassle you after paying back the original amount received (which is what I was advised to do in Oregon at least).  I?d log and report all hang-ups, robo-calls, actual voice messages, everything with time/date stamp and originating number if you have it.  The more the state folks have to work with, hopefully the sooner these types will be eliminated.

They have been calling me at work, but when I answer they hang up.  Not sure what is going on with these people.

More and more states are outlawing "loan shark" predatory PDL's and are also invalidating the claims by those companies, especially Western Sky.
Do not respond to the calls, find out your state and local laws on predatory lenders.

Call is from Delbert Services.  They are apparently the receipt agent for Western Sky, the payday loan company.
