The first call I received asked for "is this X." When I said no, he continued with "I believe he is the IT manager, can you please connect me to the IT manager?"  Well, "X" is not the IT manager, and I asked him to call the operator instead. Silence. I hung up. A second call came a few days later and I recognized it's the same number on caller ID so didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message either.

Called my cell phone #.  Didn't recognize the number so did not answer.  Did not leave message.

This is a scam. Some fool that cannot speak English wants to perform a survey about "IT Solutions." The do***ebag that called must have mentioned 100 times the words "IT Solutions Survey" just as the script told him to say.

I turn the call around on this trash. I fire off so many questions, his Chinee infused psyche cannot respond in time:
Who are you?
Why are you calling?
What is an IT Solutions Survey?
Why do you want this information?
What do you plan on doing with this information?

Just keep asking questions rapid fire until they are dumbfounded on how to respond. They typically will not call back.

A guy by the name of John said he was ith White Papers. Told him we did andswer surveys and to buzz off. Happy Holidays John!

Missed call - no message left

Call from 310-734-5183, no caller id came across.  Call came in on my manager's direct line.  I picked up and a woman, who did not identify herself or her company, asked for my manager by his last name only, which she slaughtered.  His name is not that hard to say.  Purely for my own enjoyment I asked her who she wanted to speak to and she did not reply.  After a brief moment of silence, I received an "uuummm".  I said "Excuse me", then after several more seconds of silence she just hung up.

Caller asked to speak with the IT director by title. I told the caller if they don't know the IT director's name, they don't accept the call. Then the caller asked to talk to HR (so they can get the name of the IT person). Like we fall for that one!

Asked to speak to my boss and when I asked if I could help him he wanted to know if I made IT decisions and when I said no he said he would call back and I told him he was calling Corporate and person didn't work out of here and not to call back.  Suggested he send an e-mail to the person and if any interest he would get back to him. "He said ok, and thanked me for my time". He was a least pleasant.

Called work place. Wanted to talk to boss.  Asked by name.  Said "this is not a sales call".  His name was Leroy.  Caller ID said Hudson Highland.  Said he was with 8x8 Telecommunications.

Called, left no message.  Went through our front desk asking for IT

Called my workplace, guy asked for our IT manager or "somebody like that, whatever". Sounded very unprofessional, even for a telemarketer. Told him they weren't available and he hung up without much protest.

This "Asian" woman has called many times from 310-734-5183 asking for different department heads.  This time she asked for the Marketing Manager.  I put her on hold and let her sit.  That's my new way of getting rid of these MANY annoying telemarketers.  Just put them on hold and forget about them... Eventually they hang up.

Got the call, guy asked for the boss.  Told him boss was unavailable, could I help him.  He said (heavy accent) "this is not a sales call" and something about telecommunications and paper... I couldn't understand him so I told him I was not interested and hung up.

Got a call from this number at work.  A man with a very heavy Asian accent asked for me by name and than said something and the only word I could pick out in the entire sentence was Cisco.  I asked him why he was calling me at work and then nothing.  I couldn't tell if he hung up or the call dropped.

She keeps calling my home number.  Asks for a man.  I tell her she has the wrong number and she states, let me ask you one more thing....Hung up on her.  Reporting the number because I am on the Do Not Call list.

Got a call (caller ID HUDSON H), heavy Asian accent, said she was calling on behalf of Shoretel, wanted to send white papers regarding Shoretel switches (phone system). Obviously doesn't work for Shoretel otherwise they would know that we already use Shoretel systems in our location and have support agreements with Shoretel.

Called but hung up as soon as I answered.

Got a call- and was the same as above- asked for someone by thier first name, I had to ask for last name- as "X" is a common name. they told me. I asked their name- and it was something i couldnt make out even after they said it twice. i asked the company name and again it was a name i couldnt understand. I put him on hold for a few minutes and then plunked him into the voicemail. They did not leave a message.

I had the same experience. Called and asked for my boss by name and I asked the name of the company several times and the purpose of the call. I informed them my boss was unavailable she then asked my name and said she wanted to send free information regarding Shartell Communications and a new kind of white pages booklet. I said we are not interested and she said "thank you and have a nice day".

Received a call from 310-734-5183.  When I answered the phone, female caller with heavy Asian accent asked to speak to my boss by name.  Took her a few seconds to say his name (I could tell she was reading from a list.)  Instead of identifying herself, I had to interrogate the caller.  "Who's calling please?"  "This is Amy."  Is Mr. X expecting your call? (My gut told me he wasn't, but thought that two can play this game.)  She said yes.  I said, what is your last name and the name of your company.  She gave me that info.  Then had to ask the purpose of her call.  "Calling about your EDR."  I had to ask her what that was.  And then I figured she had wasted enough of my time.  I then said "I don't believe that Mr. X was expecting your call."  She said "OK, no worries, have a nice day." and hung up.

Telemarketer calls and asks for someone by name then hangs up when you ask regarding?

Recived call, caller id said Hudson High, looked like it was cutoff and included more.  Wanted me to do a phone survey about cloud storage.  Gave half hearted answers.

Called our business phone and left no message.
