crazy message from a stephen not speaking english...about a complaint..? do not know anyone in that town..so not calling back- besides attorneys do not call -  they legally send paperwork first- too bad he reached an attorneys office ..guess he did not figure that would happen..Do not respond to their phone calls, ask for their federal ID..see what happens.

Same as all of the rest. Definitely a scam. I am going to ignore this time sensitive call. If the sheriff comes to my door, then I will take is seriously.

I have received the same call as mentioned above. The thing that is bothering me is that they keep calling my work phone. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling my job and they continue to do so. I don't know what else to do.

I got the same run-around. "Steven Kessner" told me I would be served with an arrest warrant by the local sheriff tomorrow at 10 am. I asked what the debt was , and he answered by reading an "affidavit" charging me with 3 crimes - wire fraud, banking fraud, etc because allegedly I applied online for a loan, and the loan was deposited to my bank account. When the repayment was attempted my account failed to electronically transfer the amount owed. I told him the if my account had any deposit of $5,000 I would definitely remember that! He said it is way past disputing the debt and I can tell it to the Sheriff when I am served the arrest warrant. I asked his address and he refused to give it to me, asking why I needed that. I said "So I can serve the summons on you. I will be suing you and your 'law firm' for violating the FDCPA!". Well... its after midnight of the day he said I'd be arrested... SCAM!!

I am going to sue the b*****d! FDCPA - $1,000, Rosenthal - $1,000... nice $2,000 in my pocket!  cha -ching!

Just received a call from this numbe just as the person above. they wanted my attorneys fax number to fax them the paperwork on "the case attached to my name and social security nymber". When I asked for the fax to be sent to me "steven Kessner" the representative I spoke to with a heavy accent stated he could only provide the information to my attorney and that I better hurry and not "deny this call", must mean ignore, "because this was a time sensitive matter." when I asked when was the "hearing" he said tomorrow morning at 9:00am.  Tomorrow is SUNDAY!!! When I asked where he could not give me the name or address of the court. I hung up. they called back and left a message pretty much saying the same thing. this time also leaving a website www.universallawfirm.net ---SCAMMERS!!

I just got a call from this number and they were requesting an attorney name and number so they could call them about a pending case against me and then they said the case is tomorrow.    That would be Saturday?   I told them they were bottom feeders and a fraud.   They then called back two more times and cussed me out.

This "company" called wanting information from an attorney so that they could fax information regarding a pending legal case!  Supposedly they have your name and social security number waiting on other information so they can process the case.  I told them that there were federal charges pending against them.
