Just received the same call from Ryan Harris, he threaten me that hes going to issue me an arrest warrant in 30 minutes.
he asked me if i have lawyer and i was insisting that i haven't file my taxes falsely. but he said its ok, i'm doing my job to inform you that police will arrive in 45 minutes. my husband talk to him and said ok we will see that. then i found this post on google, such a relief. thanks everybody.

Got same similar call from Ryan Harris, wanting me to call him back at 310-742-4154.  I called an left a message, but glad this post is up...I know understand that this is a scam.  I tried to call LAPD, but they are not answering until Monday morning.

I have the same experience today. The man said that the his name is Ben Clayton and he is investigating me and offer me out of court settlement for $1,481. I said how can I pay you and he said that I need to go to Walmart and buy a Quick Money Pak with green dot and give him the pin#. After he received the pin# he will told me how I am going to get the settlement letter from IRS.
I told him I will give him pin# from police station so that I will know that IRS really received my money. He told me that I will be arrested immediately if I go to police and I told him that I will take the chance anyway. He hung up. I complain to Sheriff and Sheriff sent to Police for further investigation.

  My wife got the call as I was walking in the house, confused and talking to someone named Ryan Harris who's claims to be IRS officer from the criminal investigation office, threating her with a warrant for her arrest becouse she took him as a joke. When I got on the phone with him to play along, I told him don't send the officer yet and if we can work it out. With his heavy accent he told me I had 15 minutes to find a walmart or a cvs and send $1,000. I pretended to go to Walmart and called him 15 min later, but didn't answer, called me back right away with instruction on how to send the $1,000 that's when I told him that I was in the IRS office and that I knew the whole time he was a scammer and told him to to go f himself.

He uses a name - Ryan Harris, identifying himself as chief Investigation officer from IRS, he would also say that he is in a three way call with you, him and an immigration's officer.
When you ask for more information he would ask you to call the number  310-742-4134 extn 121, which would be answered by a representative greeting as "Crime investigation branch of IRS, whom do you want to talk to?"
Then as rightly said by Mr. Steve a (heavy accent) person would talk to you saying that there are allegations against you and that you have committed a tax fraud, citing 3 allegations, when you ask for it. Then he would threaten that Police would come to arrest you within 45 mins if you do not co-operate.

This is a well orchestrated SPAM.

Caller (with Heavy accent) called and represented themselves as an officer Ryan Harris, she had a warrant for my arrest from The IRS.  She wanted my Lawyer's phone number and if I did not call back in the next half hour a warrant for my arrest would be issued.  I told her she had the wrong number and proceeded to get a bit heavy handed with me.  I told her my lawyer would contact her and she left her number.  310-742-4134.  I called the police, my tax person and the IRS.  I spoke with a very helpful Jason at the IRS.  He took the information and the phone number and the facts.  He assured me that there was no action listed under my name further that the IRS does not work this way.  The arrest did not happen within her allotted time frame and I am still free.  I did not call her back, however I feel like I should tell the "B" to bring it on.

A scammer pretend to be from the IRS, left a message about a criminal investigation regarding my daughter, knowing that the last time my daughter listed our phone when she was in high school 12 years ago. It is a Scam.

this person called me twice with two different names, pretending that he is from the IRS and there is serious allegations against me, and he is conducting a criminal investigation to arrest me in the few coming hours.. I called him back and asked him few questions then he hung up the phone. please do not provide any information about our self it is just a SCAM...

I called then to tell them not to call me as I am on do not call list n have no business with them n they wouldn't even take my number to stop the calls

Same call like Mr. Fred same date March 31st, 2014 left a message about IRS serious allegation against me and
doing a criminal investigation. And said you need to call me as soon as you get the message. I did call her as soon as I got the message and left the message in the same tone she left the message on my machine.

I did talk to her few minutes ago and she hung up the phone on me.

What I don't understand is how come she is running a scam business without any fear and trying to scare the innocent Citizens without getting caught. What a shame this Country is producing so many crooks it's turning like third world Lawless Countries.

Caller from this number left a message about an IRS criminal investigation against me. I checked this number in the IRS website and it doesn't exist. Targeting any person with an immigrant name to scam. Beware and do not give any information.
