I got a call today from the a number saying the same thing you guys said. They said to call Xavier Marshall right away because I'm in a law suite. The number was (607)795-7547. I hanged up and they called again. And I yelled at the sp called legel representive saying don't call me again. My biggest concern now is my social security number. Do I change it or what happens now? Can any of you guys tell me what you did after. Is it safe after he doesn't call you?

I received a call from the same person and thats the same number they told me to call back. Actually had the nerve to say that he worked for the Federal Trade Commission. It was hilarious to me. I called the number and asked for "something Marshall" and the lady who answered the phone scolded me for not using the full name of such a respected attorney. LOL

Wish I read this before I threw money away I'm pissed Xavier Marshall. Just took my money threatened 3 hrs in prison said a us Marshall would come to my work and arrest me .due to online loan I took out. Many threats and called my job continuesly

This happened just a few days ago. My husband and I were looking for a quick loan so that we could pay our huge electric bill. Well anyway, We get a phone call yesterday stating that my husband is being sued for a payday loan from ez payday loan. Told him 2 US Marshalls would be coming by to pick him up and carry him to CA. He said "Yay thanks I get to see my Uncle I have seen in years because I can't afford to go out there!" We reported it to the sheriff's office where we live and sure enough it is a scam. Please talk to you law enforcement people first. They will let you know what is going on. Plus they can not extradite you to another state without a court hearing.

I received a call from Xavier Marshall stating that I owe loan aplication fees & that the government was filing a suit against me! He said that my DL would be taken away, that I
Would be fired, I couldn't leave the country for 7 years,etc...
He also told me that I have to pay almost 4,000 in court. But I could just pay 400 & I
Wouldn't have to go to court or be blackballed

Today I received the same call-  word for word as yours.  But I was suspicious from the beginning.  I did call back-  he already knew my cell, and called my job repeatedly; wanted to speak to my boss (NO) wanted verification as to my last four digits of my social (I lied-- NOOO).
Told me it was a lawsuit and if I didn't pay it would get downloaded to the courts..  (HUH???)
Now, I DON'T have credit cards or owe any outstanding debts..  But I DID apply for and get a payday loan online,  which I promptly paid in full plus bloated interest one week later (green cash).  When I babbled this off to this """paralegal"""  he did hesitate and asked me who?? Like it rang a bell with him.  But he still would NOT disclose any info on the supposed lawsuit as to who it was from, what it was for..
I went to the cop shop after work and talked with an officer about this so he knows it is going on in his area,.He wasn't  familiar with the name but knows he scam.  I will also be calling my bank.

phone number he called from 607-795-7354 supposedly from Horseheads, NY but I doubt it's even in his country-  The ""paralegal"" very obviously eastern indian with a heavy accent but american name.  When I called his atty's "office" i got a voicemail that sounded very strange- every word sounded like it was clipped off other recordings and mailbox was full....

Got a call a few months ago regarding this stating that I had a warrant out for my arrest in California & that I owed money to them.  Which is bogus, I did take out payday loans online but filed bankruptcy about a month ago everyone that calls I tell them that.  They get pissed off.  I called back this 'Xavier Marshall' & told him that this is a scam and to stop f*cking calling me'  One guy called and said that he was with an atty office & kept calling my work & I kept hanging up on him.  He called back every time I hung up on him.  Told him that if he called me one more time at work that I was filing a harassment charge against him.  He laughed at me and told me that I couldn't do that.  I replied and told him that I could & I would.  I got on my computer & looked up for the warrant records in California & low & behold my name actually was on that list, but it's probably just a fraudulent site anyways.  I went to the California pd page & only 1 county has warrant info on their page & for the rest you'd have to call each individual county.  I know that this is bogus.  But that part was slightly disconcerting....  Bottom line if you owe a debt, you'll receive information in the mail in regards to it & if I LEGITIMATELY have a warrant out for my arrest in California I would have received some sort of documentation for it in the mail.

My friend got the same call and its a scam someone needs to do something about this creep. Told her in order to stop the warrent she would have to pay $400 today by 11am. she said she only had $100 and they they said ok but they dont know if they can stop the warrent with that... as they told her to hold on the sherriffs department is on the other line..then we called them back with star 67 and they called her phone right back. they had her on the phone threatening her for over an hour saying they were gonna take her social security check and everything. she was hysterical.
They called from607-795-7354 ext 121 when we called that number back they answered American legal services. the guy said she had to go to CVS and put the money on a card called Vanilla reload Network then call him back and scratch off the number and give it to him...but the total she had to pay was 3,473  for criminal federal banking

They called and harrassed my wife and and I called them back they refuse to say whom they represent or what they want.  Now all they do is call and breath heavy on the phone.    We have called ID  so we know when they call in.  The  initials are CMTN-CMTN Ca.   phone number 310-742-4798.  
One time they claim to be attornyes and the next time law enforcement.

This dumbass non American idiot has been blowing my phone up. So I finally call back he says his name is Michael brown. When I call they hung up on me twice because I knew it was fake. Then turned the phones off so it goes straight to voicemail. so I returned the favor and left and bunch of bs voicemails. I like my Arab voice better!

another thing that can happen that helps is play them at there own game it upsets them ask for a document stating what you owe, also let them talk and then tell them repeatedly you cant understand them ask for someone who speaks english

THEperson thats calls says im frank murphy threateneds my family as well they never call my job so i report all calls to my state banking commision. they know there scaming people thats why i had a laywer listen in as well

Yeah I got a call from 1-310-742-4798 and he stated that I am being sued due to my name and ss# and he kept asking do I have a lawyer. I was like huh?? So I told him to send me the information to me by mail and he sounded like he got quiet all of a sudden then he hung up... Crazy...

I receive threatening messages from this phone number.  Indian guy.  Threatens my personal safety.  I've stopped answering but he leaves nasty messages.  Got him on the phone once- to ask questions- because I AM an attorney-- and he got even nastier and hung up.  

It is a totally scam and harassing and it's illegal to tell someone a lawsuit has been filed (if one hasn't).
If one has, you would know because a lawsuit has to be properly served on you.

I have been receiving calls from these same people for months. Today a man using the name Justin Brown left a message on my cell and called my work number. The message today was that it was urgent that I call about a legal matter, if I did not return the call  would be sued. In the past the caller(s) have played a good cop/bad cop routine, saying they were with a legal agency and that if I did not pay immediately I would be arrested when I arrived home from work. I have straight out told them it was a scam and posted on the internet but to no avail, they continue to call.

this number called my cell phone and finally called me at my job confirming my last four digit of ss# then stating I am in trouble with the federal goverment regarding an online loan volation and i might be arrested as of tomorrow.  I was terrified. I said are you serious.  He said his name was mike robinson. But I noticed on the voice mail the name given was mark robinson, he had a accent and on the v-mail he had nerve to say and God bless you in this matter.  He also said i could settle this matter out of court by setting with them before the court date.  What court date? I said. I even went to the police station just to make sure I did'nt have a warrant out even though I don't live that kind of life style. Now I am worried someone has excess to my personal information.

This number is completely bogus!!! They continued to call me and said they are from some legal service and that i was being sued... i replied back with if this truly the case then you will mail me the info for whereever this loan was taken out from or i would be served papers from a collection agency.... I simply replied that he needed to stop F'n calling me because he will just continue to get the same responce and then I hung up!!!

PLEASE PLEASE don't ever send money to these kinds of people!!! There are tell tale signs that they are bogus!!!

!. They have a thick indian/pakistan accent
2. Their name is always a very Americanized name
3. A lawyer will not contact you by phone
4. If they are a true debt collector they will have paper documentation to back up their claim
5. If they say you owe them some astronomical amount of money like $3400 and say they will settle for $400 and your "warrant" will be knull and void is not true paying money does not get rid of a court ordered warrant
6. The police DO NOT come and arrest you at your home or your work for owing on a debt
7. If you are truly being sued you will be served a summons at your work or home

I received a phone call at work which is very unusual because they noone ever call at work unless is an emergency the phone call was very treating according to this guy "my socila security was being suit and i was asked to call xsavior marshall to get the details, the first time I call a women aswer the phone by saying Hello instead of stating the bussines so I had to asked where i was calling, and she responded "legal services" I was on hold for 10 minutes and i finally hang up and called back now im just getting a voice message, this phone call happened right after i apply on line to renew my legal status.

Some person name Mike Anderson and whoever else keeps calling me from this number on my personal phone and my work phone harrasing me. They keep telling me that im being sued so have my lawyer contact them. I want this to stop immediately

same here i receive the same phone call but this was a man saying his name was Mike Robinson, i've never heard a strong Indian accent like this with a common name. he told me if i dont give him a call back that i would certainly lose my job, plus go to jail, and had to go to California for a hearing. it was almost convincing he told me my bank stop a payment from coming through about a loan i had already paid. i called my bank and did a three way and my bank told him that the payment had been paid and there dont stop payment taking out without any consent. then he said it was an application fee for $90 i had to pay and because i didnt pay it im being sued and i have to pay back the $300 i had already paid. he said he gonna call the company to verify, and tranfered me to the manager of the company name USFASTCASH
which also was an Indian Guy. This Is a scam going on I'll suggest to anyone whos been involve to change their account numbers

thank you all for commenting about this the first time i really believed i was a victim of identity left and 2yrs later its happening again. Once i Googled the number i was aware i was not the only victim. i definitely called back and cussed out the man on the other side. this is harassment.

Called me by the Name of Andy and told me there was a legal matter and for me to give him my attorney's name and number and that he would release this information to him instead of me. I question them and informed them that they need to inform me of what it going on and gave me a this number and told me to ask for Mike Robinson from LA, California.

Got a call stating there is a law suit I laughed because they called a few days ago using a different number but saying I had to call Xavier Marshall hahaha get a real job you idiots
