I recently call Time Warner Cable to let them know i'm moving and I don't need them anymore. After reading everyone else's notes, i'm guessing it was someone from their company.

Multiple phone calls.  No message.  Does not speak when answering phone.

Yeah,  Time Warner.  They said I was receiving calls from their Retention Department.  Just let TWC know you don't want to receive this type of solicitation and they will put a note on your account.  Also, as an added step - tell them you have a new number and give them the number for fraud alert.

That was an easy guess though. So many people do. It could be a fake caller ID that uses TWC's number.

I hope the government -- at some level -- does their job and shuts this type of crap down. Otherwise there is no purpose to having a phone if all it does is create disturbances.

Hear that phone companies? If you can't control this you will suddenly have no customers other than scumbag fraud-artists. Same thing with fake emails.

I have received 3 calls from them.  I answered every time and they hung up every time.  Great sales technique!!

Also in common with other posts:  I just canceled Time Warner and now I'm too getting calls from this number.

If this is indeed Time Warner, knock it off! Already cancelled with them recently.

same, i transferred time warner a few weeks ago, got a call today.. picked up nobody answered, called back.. said disconnected number

I called TWC and they put my number in a privacy status saying the calls would stop.  That has not happened.

They identified themselves as "Prime Paint".  The caller ID said "California".

Yes, I have recieved several calls with this number and they do not leave a voicemail. I answered it once and they didn't even bother to say anything on the other end. It is really annoying

Yep, I too just moved and cancelled my TWC... got my first call from this number today - hopefully it will be the last!

I got the same call then i blacked out and was arrested for shooting a man alledgedly.

Just cancelled TWC a couple days ago and got a call from this number just now, but they left no message.

I also just quit Time Warner because there are too many service interruptions for what they want to charge me.

I actually picked up the call and there was no one on the other end. Perhaps they use their own phone service?

Everyone wondering who 310-765-1089 is and why they are calling you; you have Time Warner Cable don't you? Time Warner is calling you to offer you promotional goods and services IE soliciting.

I believe you can call TWC and have them remove your number from your file under your contact information, but then they wouldn't be able to contact you for any other reason.

I reduced my services and the number has been ringing every 4 hrs. Lucky for them its my cell phone, I created a dummy contact, added this number and it sends them straight to voice mail. Now, this gives me a reason to get rid of them altogether

I am getting calls from this number as well. The location is el segundo CA. It has been pretty persistent and has even called twice in one evening before... and I have yet to receive a voicemail.

This number calls me at least once a week! The number calling (via the caller id) is 3107651089.

No message left, caller ID says "CALIFORNIA"

As a former consultant with TWC's IT division I can tell you that this is their Telemarketing call out #....
I too get calls on a regular basis from the # (No one is immune)  You can call TWC and have a "Do not call" put on your account, but the caveate is that you need to have an account (or perhaps have been an account holder)....

From my experience with TWC their business practices are within the legal limits of the law but the push the envelope by their less than professional practices both in and out of the company limitations.

I recently cancelled my Time Warner Cable and have had two calls from this number.  When I called back, the number was disconnected.
