I picked up once when I was driving and told them it wasn't a good time to call back. They said they were calling from UCLA but I'm pretty sure this ISN'T the actual alumni group associated with the school. They must be some third party telemarketing company. They call quite often and quite regularly but I don't pick up because I don't think it's actually UCLA.

Only my HEALTH RECORDS and possibly -but very unlikely, my post-B.A. UCLA Extension records have my current cell number! I haven't taken an Extension class in a few years, so I don't even think I had the same number then, but I know for sure that my health records include my current cell phone number, which I strictly protect. Where's the fine print stating that they can ambush your number for solicitations?? I'm going to have to re-review that 13-page UCLA HIPAA Authorization (outlines Federal privacy laws with regard to health records).... Right, giving them their own numbers next time. It's a shame, I'd like to give, but from now on, I think my blood and money will go elsewhere. I'd hate my hard-earned money to go to funding student callers who will annoy my fellow Bruins. Looks like Development needs a shake up over there, but I hope they get into real trouble first. That's the only way people learn.

tried calling the 866-262-9084 number to removed my number from their list.  Got a recording that the person at that extention cannot receive any more messages.

They keep calling at late hours like 7:30pm, 8:45pm - very annoying!

Got this hang up call. Got myself removed. Call the UCLA  Fund at 866-262-9084 and ask them to remove you. When I called, they did a search on my number as showing on their caller ID, but didn't find it. They had to search by my name, which brought up my cell and home number and I had them remove both from their call list. The woman helping was pleasant, and I called at 9pm on a Sunday night. The number was found off the website www.uclafund.ucla.edu

this is b***s***, they keep calling me like I owe them money

I am an UCI alumna and my husband is an UCLA alum, but my cell phone is receiving the "hang-up" calls from 310-794-2772. I want the calls to stop immediately!

I get a call from this number daily around 7:00 p.m.   They never leave a message, and I don't answer

I graduated in 1996 and just tonight received my first call from this number. I'm curious as to how they got my number as well. A couple of months ago, I ordered my UCLA transcript through the Registrar's webpage. Interesting and annoying, if UCLA is now using the billing info I provided at checkout for telemarketing purposes.  Thanks to the individual who posted about his call to have his number removed. If the calls continue, I will do the same.

At least they have learned to allow for the time difference - years ago I got calls at 11:00pm.

I think they got my number from Facebook. I don't know how else.

I've asked a manager to take my mumber off og their list but I got another call tonight. I'm going to call the administration and complain about the UCLA Annual Fund. I suggest everyone do this. These calls are unacceptable.

i never even joined the alumni association, so i haven't gotten anything from ucla in years (graduated in 1998) - catalogs for ucla items, clothing, etc.  i've suddenly started getting calls from this number a month ago.  great.

just googled and it's the ucla fund. i am alumni but don't know how they got my new #. oh well.

Those SOBs call me 5 times a week, for the past 5 weeks. Add the number 310 206 8479 to your blacklist.

@UCLA Fund If you want donations, how about you stop pestering? This makes me want to never donate to you stupids ever again.

It is the UCLA call center.  I haven't even graduated yet and they want donations....my parents are still paying my tuition! Very annoying to have them calling multiple times per day.

Keep getting calls on my cell from this number, never a message. I'm a UCLA grad - will complain to the school about this.

This number has been calling me over and over for months, I'm a ucla grad too, I thought never answering would make it stop but they call all the time and pretty late at night. Next time ill just answer and tell them to take me off the list!

Multiple calls a day for the last few months. I started picking up and there would be no one on the line. Finally got a human on the line and he hangs up on me as soon as I ask them to please stop calling! I'm a recent UCLA grad.

Been receiving calls from this number the last few months, sometimes multiple times a day. I started picking up when it became a nuisance, and found no one on the line. Finally picked up the other evening and got an actual human. I asked him to please stop calling me because it was a nuisance, and he promptly hung up on me! Pretty rude treatment considering I'm a UCLA alumni.

Take a lesson in marketing and try a less invasive method. Cold calling alumni nonstop is akin to poking them in the arm repeatedly.

Same thing has been happening to me!  What can we do?  This really sucks!

I reguarly (at least ever two days for at least the last month) have been getting calls from this number on my cell phone that shows the number  but not the identity.  On a couple of occasions, when I did answer, I said "I'm on the Do Not Call List and I want you to stop calling me" and they always hang up on me. On the other occasions when I have not answered, they never leave a voicemail.  When I googled the number on-line , I saw there were dozens of people who have had this same complaint.

Is there anything you (or I) can do to stop this from reoccurring?  Thank you.  Harriet

when you call it back, it is a call from UCLA. What they want I dont know. I went to USC. We hate liberal schools like UCLA and Stanford.... Good Luck.
