I put in for a loan on the internet, looking for a student loan. And now I get phone call from area code 310-803-9341 and 310-807-4097. The first one I answer the person was telling me that I was pre approved for a loan of $2,500. and i need goto the there website to give more information. The second call I didn't answer.

They are scam artists and I am reporting them! They want you to pay $100 for a credit check for a job that doesnt exist!

I received a call from 310-807-6272 today and was told to call 310-807-6265 and ask for John or Monica - - I placed an ad on CL last week... called the number and there was only music playing...

Gotta love it, they must think people are stupid.  I also had an ad on CL and received a call from this infamous "John".  He left a number of 310-807-6265 and told me to call back him or Monica.  Really wish people would get over this whole scamming thing!  Do they not realize if we posted on CL we obviously have access to a computer and can just google their phone number with supposed company name and see all the samming they're trying to dish out???  Ridiculous!

I just got a call from him a couple hours ago and when I answered his electronic message came on.  I was at work and couldn't google him but I smelled something fishy so I glad I looked him up first.  I'm in Chicago.

I got a phone call from 310-807-6272 number and a guy named John wanted me to call him back to talk to some "girls" that were in the office, something about a contractor. I didn't want to call him back after reading the earlier messages about this guy. Neither my boyfriend or I ( we share a phone ) applied for a contracting job. He must have gotten my phone number from Craigslist.

got a call this morning from "John" this is the 2nd time the first time i just hung up right away, this time i hit 2 to get removed from list and it just hung up. Hopefully that works, if not i'll just have to blacklist his phone number.

I just got the exact same message from John with the same number and yes I have something listed on Craigslist.

I just got a call from this number and it was John from contractors management. I knew it was a pre recorded message and not a real person on the phone because my voice mail picked up the last part of the message before it repeated itself again. This company does not follow Craigslist rules and can be sued for violating "ITS NOT OKAY TO CONTACT THIS POSTER WITH COMMERCIAL SERVICES OR OTHER GOODS"

I got the same call today with the exsact message saying to call him back and speak to the girls. I  have had other calls like this. Some they just call and wait for you to answer then hang up. Its all SCAMS.

I got a call from 3108076272 and I spoke with a lady. I told her that I was returning a call, she then hung up on me. I know that it said that it was contractor support and they have an IVR. I do have a post in Craigslist for a cleaning service that I currently am trying to get clients for. I think that is where they found my info.

today same thing john etc etc. I guess they want our 99 dollars. I posted in craigslist for handyman so I almost fell for it. sounded legit, fix foreclosed houses. jobs were supposed to be painting and the like, set prices she said, from 200 to 600 dollars each so there was no bidding, paid every two weeks.She had her whole rap down, I was like a fish on the bait, real nosey but didn't bite. Would really like to hear from someone who did the background check and paid the money
