They keep calling me then hanging up. When I call back it says the number has been disconnected.

I get those calls as well.  What my neighbor is doing... he is inviting them over, and when they come he tells them that since they waste his time, now they waste their time, and that he is not interested in their "service".  Another way to deal with such "outfits"  give them an address that is not yours, or that does not exist.  Let them spend their money chasing air.  I don't answer calls from unidentified numbers or that have no caller identification.  I also use nomorobo service which blocks robo calls.  I suggest that you look into this free service.

The pond scum telemarketers just rotate numbers to beat the call blockers I guess. I've had three telemarketing calls today and it isn't noon yet. This one has been calling for years with a different phone number every few weeks. Its really time for government to step in and clamp down on this non-sense. Either enforce DNC list or do something else to shut the jack***es down. Right now a call blocker or not answering the phone is really all you can do.

These a-holes were/are the first number entered on my (then) new Panasonic phone.  Since then the Panasonic has functioned perfectly - it blocks all "out of area," all "private numbers" and ALL blocked calls.  The Panasonic phone does not ring when a blocked call comes in - you can set it to ring1 short ring if you wish.  Presently, I have 229 phone numbers blocked.  These phones are inexpensive and can be purchased at Costco & Amazon.
I see that these criminals are still calling people.  
Please consider the purchase of a call blocking phone or device - we have both!

I called this number and a woman answered.  I gave her a ream out, which she didnt even seem surprised at.  She said I would be taken off the list.  We'll see.  Meanwhile we need to give them trouble back.  Sick of these people.  They even have my address.  I told the guy who called that I had moved to Dallas, but still had the same phone number.  He practically called me a liar and started quizzing me about when I sold and when I moved.  I started getting angry, and he hung up.  He has called a multitude of times before, because I recognize his voice.

Suggest you Google "NOMOROBO" and check into it. We did and now, when we receive these types of calls, it's one ring and gone I the number is on their list. However, if it goes through, you can contact NOMOROBO and have the number added to their blocking list. It's also FREE!

I have been receiving calls from these so called "home improvement" numbers for over a year.  I now never answer any callers I don't recognize.    So far today I've had 3 calls from the same number. 310-822-3669.  They do switch numbers, called "Spoofing".  Lots of their numbers begin with "1".  There are no legitimate numbers that begin with "1".  The DNC list is no help.  The only thing I can do is just ignore the callers.

I have received many calls from this number. They are just crooks trying to scam you out of your money and personal information. The only way to stop them is have the authorities put owners  in jail. I doubt this will happen . All these crooks do is change the name of their company and phone number every month.

I am on the DNC list, but still receiving calls for my eligibility for energy improvements from this phone number. I hang up as soon as they identify themselves. Three calls in one day. My wife told them to take us off their list, but to no avail.

These guys keep calling every single day at around 10:15am PST it seems to be an automated dialing software that once you answer it connects the person on the other side with me, I have told them tens of times to remove me from their calling list because I'm also in the DNC but they call back again the following month, I think they got my phone number from one time I filled in a form for a raffle at a half marathon event in San Diego a few months ago.
