just got a text from these people. "homeowners we can lower mortgage payment by doing a loan modification" etc etc. how did they even get my number??

I got the text also. I don't dare reply with an UNSUBSCRIBE, but I didn't add to any list and I keep my cell number very private. I really want to know where they got my number!

This is a SPAM TEST MESSAGE.  I get charged for each text I receive, so this costs me money.  I'm willing to combine with anyone to shut this company and number down.

Got the same text message. Not sure where they got my number from, but this text came in the middle of the night.  I did text back to take my number off and never text again.  Nobody does anything about these companies, it's ridiculous.

I got this same garbage at 1:30 in the morning.  I don't know who it's from either.  They sent the message earlier in the afternoon too.  I just deleted it the first time, but when they sent it at 1:30 AM, I sent back a nice friendly response:
"It's 1:30 in the morning. I'm not interested in your bulls**t. If I was, I would have replied earlier today when you sent me the same message. Kindly f**k off."
Hopefully that should get them to leave me alone.  I am also on the Do Not Call list, so I don't know why these morons can get away with stuff like this.  Down with evil telemarketers invading our privacy!

I got the same message as above at 2:30 this morning! It really ticked me off. How do we find out what company this is or who do we report it to?

Got this call at 2:45 am about a loan mod. Even if I'm not on a do not call list, how stupid are you to seed a msg in the middle of the night. When caught recommend we do what Charlie Daniels sings about in his song Simple Man.

these calls should not be legal....we are charged on our wireless bills for unsolicited calls!

I got this message last night at Mid-night and I was very upset. I tried to look up and find out who this is and didnt have any luck. Any one know this company? I am even on the Do Not Call list and they still called/texted me!!

Just received two in a row. 11:40am Hawaii time, reported the number to the Do Not Call.gov list. Many of you have listed the link in-correctly. This is the correct link, http://loanmod-gov.net/ I have no idea how they rec'd my number... but I am pissed !!!

Got a text. Then googled. I replied "No More Calls"

I received the same text msg, I'm wondering if I respond will they keep texting me or will they stop.

Just got this one too!  9:30 am Pacific Time.  senmt a message back saying that my number is on a do not call list.  I have forwarded the communication to the authorities for prosecution.

The address given in the text message was registered privately and the registrant information is not provided. The only way to find out is to subpoena. :S
