telemarketing... for home improvement.. was pleasant in the beginning then became rude when the sale didnt go thru.. dont bother to answer.. block the caller

They want the same thing the rest of us want. The ruling body to stop the abusive application of the state secrets privilege and get the equivalent of 201's H.R. 5956 passed.

this number called again a few minutes ago. I answered and said "Hello" I could hear what sounded like a tape running. I put it on speker phone and a few seconds later it hung up.

Just got a call. Said hello and other person (sounded like a woman) said hello. Could hear talking in the background. I said hello again and then nothing...finally the other person hung up!

this number has  called numerous times over the past month and every time I answer and say "hello" I never get an answer so I hang up.

Rec'd call today.  Caller unaware that I'd answered could be heard saying "I gotta good one here.  I can feel it."  When he spoke to me he stated his name was Joseph Burke and that they did all types of home repairs.  .  I stated that I heard what he had said,  that he was wrong about me and hung up.

Called about 15 mins. ago.  Someone with heavy accent asking for me by name, but I was away from phone, luckily.  I guess we have been given a brief reprieve from last year but they (all of the nuisance callers) are back at it again.  Tried to return call, but call dropped.

It is a telemarketer for a contractor.  I asked why he was not abiding by the Do Not Call List.  Of course, he claimed he was and that he was not in charge of who he calls.  I think he needs to make up his mind:  either he has control so as to comply with the Do Not Call List or the selection of the called numbers is beyond is paygrade.  I told him not to call and I was going to file a complaint.

Got call at 11 AM. Didn't pick up. No message.

Called me today but I have a ring controller, once I put the number in, the phone will not ring for that number, if you are interested, check them out on the computer, there are several manufactures but read the specifications very carefully, mine is called CALLER ID WITH RING CONTROLLER, made by J.F.TECK and has 3 areas of control, with section 2 set up for 24 hour do not disturb and section 3 is continuos blocking, I can keep the phone from ringing for well over 100 numbers. The first area of control is for numbers you want to receive calls from. Mine cost about $80 two years ago. IN NO WAY AM I TRYING TO SELL THIS ITEM but  Its a small price to pay for peace and quiet since the do not call list has almost no effect on bill collectors and this type of caller.

310-858-9997 calls and telemarketer says he is part of an outreach program with your city to help you get reduced contractor repairs to your home. This is a huge scam. If you ask to verify with a licensed contractor number, they hang up.

This is DCI they are calling to give free home estimates....you may have possibly filled out something looking for repairs or home improvements....I told them to take me off their calling list and do not call me anymore.

Tried calling this number back but got 'circuit busy' signal.

Call had very poor line condition.  Static.  Maybe Magic Jack.  Some guy asks for me and identifies himself as from Sunshine Construction.  Asked his name and phone # and he hung up as always.  Must be related to Crown/Platinum/Coast Construction scam bogus call center.

Another in the unending (it seems) stream of calls from this number.  No ID ever shown and no message left.  I don't give them a chance to say anything to me, so maybe, one of these years, they will finally get the general idea, that they are not going to get a response.

They've called me and hung up twice more -- the latest at  10:18 am yesterday.

Another hangup call from these geniuses yesterday at  6:43 pm.

This number calls between 6 to 8 times a cay. Just about every hour. They never leave messages. I decided to answer it this evening...A girl asked for my son....he hasn't lived here since 2001! I knew it was "that" solicitor, I could see their number. So I asked who was calling...and the girls says "OH GREAT! ANOTHER BI***!" I hung up! Oh my gosh...who are these losers?

Caller ID said Beverly Hills.They called and said my last name then hung up! How do I stop?

Why are these people calling me on a Sunday evening?  First call from this number, but I suspect it is one of a whole series of numbers that call me coninually.  Losers.

Another # added to my expanding spreadsheet of unwanted or unknown callers.  Just for my edification since there doesn't seem to be any way to put an end to this stuff.  At least, I can tell if an unrecognized # has called before.

How do I get them to stop calling

What can I do to stop getting 30 spam calls a day?  No one talks, there is no message.  Just dead air.  They call several times a day every stinking day.

Received a hang up call from this number also. Wonder if it is one of the multiple use number companies that have called within nearly an hour space of time.

Got a hangup call today from this number.  Caller ID says "out of area".  Given that another poster reported the caller id as Beverly Hills,  it sure shouldn't be out of area ... I live 6 or 7 miles from there.
