They called me and I immediately got a recording that all their associates were busy but to please stay on the line for the next available associate.
If they want to talk to me, have someone on the line when I answer. I don't hold for incoming calls.

wow.  so they call me and all the caller id says is nco.  i get the stupidass recordind about waiting and then someone came on the line with a really weird voice and.  i couldnt understand what they said and they asked for someone i dont know.  so i tell them they have the wrong number and it tells me that all incoming and outgoing calls are monitored.  then it was silent so i hung up.  who are these people???

My caller ID from this number also said: NCO.  They ask for a person that doesn't live here.  When I told them that, they said that they'd remove my number and it would take up to 48 hours to do it.  I have a high suspicion that it's a collection agency.

They call our fax line every day 8:05AM (EST).  The caller ID shows up NCO.

I recieved a call yesterday sat.aug.20 at approx. 8:00a.m. asking for my x-wife Tracy compton or Tracy Jude, I am requiring why my number was given because in the past she has used my last name and social security number for fraudulent personal gain with other comapanies. please contact me via e-mail@ Marilynjude6@yahoo.com or telephone 1-606-835-4069 in regards to this because I fully intend to turn this over to law enforcement, this is an attempt to use my   idenity fraudulenty and is not the first time,we have been divorced 12 years and I am remarried, If she owes youre company money I will be more than happy to help you find her real phone and place of residence and employment. sincerley, michael jude

Nco calls my house everyday including the weekends. I don't answer. They are persistent. The telephone number changes. I do not any debts to be collected by a collection agency.

NCO called again. No voicemail. I am building up a number log to use as evidence to present to my lawyer if needed. I researched that the victim may use the numbers against NCO in dropping a $1000 fine for each call. "Keep on Calling NCO!" I'm going to use your calls against you!

Same story here.  They ask for Claudia [last name].  Though I've patiently explained she's not at this phone number, I don't know her, I've had this phone number of years, and to put me on their "do not call" list. Which they promise to do. Yet every day another call! I'm really fed up with them.  I've reported them to the California State Attorney General.  Maybe that will help.

I am on the Do Not Call List.  The following numbers repeatedly call:

Calls about a credit card i don't own

I missed a call from this # and when I called back they asked for my capital one account #. I thought that this was fishy so I called the # on the back of my card and asked capital one if they had been calling me for any reason. They told me no. Furthermore I asked them to look up the # to see if it was even a capital one # and they told me that they did not have any record of it and that they had no reason to call me. BEWARE OF THIS # IF THEY CALL YOU. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOU.

Got a call from them too, they said they are NCO but would not say what that is.  I know it's some kind of collection deal so after the 4th call I said to the girl, "what is it that you do?"  She said in order to give me that she had to let me know all calls were recorded.  I said, "Yes, here too.  We are recording this call now".  At that point she said she did not authorize us to record her and hung up.  Odd.  Why do you think they would object to someone ELSE recording them?  lol

I used to have a Capital One card but don't anymore and haven't for quite a long time. No message left on answering machine at home.

this number for NCO Financial has been used calling my neighbor asking info on my wife....this is the 3d time this caller has approached  our neighbor, stated the neighbors' number was given as a contact number, no other information given...

Add 866-233-2777 to the list of numbers they use.

Why don't the authorities do something with such obvious crooks?

Found out this is one of those SLAMMERS they try to get you to say "yes" in any format and use that in a recording to obtain credit or purchases that are on you to pay back or show proof of non liability.

We received this a call from 310-862-9033 during lunch on Sunday.  It was just some automated system so we hung up.  We also got the same NCO on our caller ID from 972-546-1547 On Sat. during lunch.

Got a call from this number - please hold for a very important message - made me wait for 3 minutes or so until one of their agents was assigned.

The lady asked for Victoria which was totally foreign to me. I told her such and asked her to remove our number. She was actually very polite - I was shocked.

We'll see if the number is actually removed.

unwanted call

Got a call on my cell phone from NCO Financial (310-862-9033) asking for my mother. I asked them how they got this number and they stated "um,,Uh she put this down as an alternative number to be used?" I told her that my mother has NEVER released my number or any other number to anyone and that they invaded our privacy and to NEVER call again. This company is calling about a matter that has been resolved for almost a year. They will not be collecting on a debt that has already been taken care of.

I received a call from this number (1-877-803-8009) this morning, but they didn't leave a message. I called back the number, and I was asked to provide my Capital One account number. I did not give them any information, hung up, and called Capital One's 1-800 number myself to find out why this collection agency was calling me. They were not sure... I have no payments past due, but I was told (by Capital One) that this NCO phone number was a valid agency, and it was safe to give them my information.

I called this NCO number again, gave them my Capital One account number and my full name, and they told me they had no idea why I was called; I am not even "in their system."
Perhaps a wrong listing. Annoying.

I have received many calls from this number- at least 3 or 4 per week. This is the message I get:

I have been receiving calls from this number for a very long time now...I finally went to the website and called their consumer hotline.  I explained to the woman that I have been receiving these calls for some time and that I was more than angry with them.  I explained to her I had no affiliation with this comapny...you know what I'm going to save myself the grief .....basically it took me foreve for her to say she could pt me on the list to not get called and said she didnt have a referance number until i talked her down and she gave me a 3-digit "id" number...idk what is with these people

This is not a Capital One number, they are posing as Capital One because these are fradulent calls.  When I called back they asked for my Capital One acct and when I didn't give it they hung up the phone.  I called Capital One and asked if my account was in good standing and the rep said yes.  I told him about the phone calls and he gave me a # to report it to their fraud dept.  Don't give any information to these people.
