Called at 10:31 AM, I did not pick up. Answering machine came on and they left a short recording of a piano solo and hung up.  WTF?!

Call ID says Kenneth  * .It hit the answering machine had some little computer music and hung up. Obviously a scam.

Yup - they keep spoofing different caller IDs but still the same DNC-violating scammers.  I've had calls from this # showing all three "names".  Today's fail came at 10:30am, from "KENNETH *"

Yet another call from this number. they've called with the caller id saying JJK Express, then they call with Cypress Thierry and now they're using Kenneth *

Go ahead and ask them...what type of licensed contractor they are general, plumbing, electrical, roofing...then ask them what neighbor reffered them to you...then tell them if you're a contractor then why are you working in a call center.

Got another call from Kenneth *, 2nd in two days, no messages left.  This forum has confirmed him as a telemarketer and I will add his number to my call blocker now.

They have called here several times a week for the last few weeks.  

Today I answered.  
I asked for a contractor's license number.  FAKE
I asked for a phone number. FAKE

Now I'll have to step it up and drag their a***s out here for a fake consultation to embarrass them and report them to the FTC and CSLB.  Maybe I'll have the police remove them for trespassing also.

If ONLY, I could call them back and ask them to remove my number.  DARN.

8/13 10:40 Weird and a half!  So happens have a cousin with same name so wondered, but when tried to return call, kept getting message caller not available, try later.  Don't know what scam is but about to block.

I quit answering my phone since it's always contractor telemarketers.  All other reports on this # designate it as a construction telemarketer.  Annoying, lying people.  Wonder how the business would feel if it knew we seriously all hate them calling, won't ever do business with them, and blast them and their employees online.  Not a very good business.  Business Fail.  In today's economy, fire that person for making your label look AWFUL and making the local peeps disgusted with your practices.

I just got a call from the same number - 310-872-7232.  I answered...the phone was silent, then a recorded woman's voice said "Goodbye", and disconnected.  Caller ID said the name was Kenneth * (with an asterisk afterwards).  Spooooky.....  Annoying ba$tards.

Interesting.  My cordless phone doesn't typically do that -- it will say "X2" for example if the number has called twice.  So in my case I don't think that's what it means.  Hmmm... In any event thanks for the info.

On my cordless phone the asterisk means there is one or more previous calls from that number in the calls directory.

This time the caller ID said "KENNETH *"  What's the asterisk for?  Whatever.  They hung up as soon as my machine came on.  9:11 am today.  Another report to the FCC coming...

03/04/2013 9:56 AM. Caller ID said "JJK Express LLC". The salesman identified the company as "Go Green California". When I told him that I was on the Do Not Call list he said that he would make sure that they did not call again, and hung up.
08/01/2013 1:58 AM. Caller ID said "Kenneth *" [that's an asterisk]. No one was on the line. Finally a recorded female voice said "Good-bye". I have heard the same voice on 323-669-8528.

When I have filed a complaint with the 2nd number (FCC), even though the form takes longer to fill out than for the 1st number (Do Not Call), on only one occasion have I received another call from the number that I reported.

Someone from this number just called me. He said his name was Brian Johnson from Sky High Builders and is a handy man who will be doing some work in Apartment 108 in my building. He wanted to see if I needed any work done and he could come by and take a look. He didn't even know the name of the person in Apt. 108 and said he got my number from a list he bought. Well, guess what? There is no Apartment 108 in my building! He probably wants to case my place to steal some items. TOTAL SCAM!!!

I just received a call from this man saying he was a contractor doing work in the area and wanted to know if I needed any work done while he was in the area.  He knew both my first and last name.  I was concerned it might be thieves checking to see if people are home or scouting houses to rob during summer vacations.
We are in the W.LA area - I am curious, are you in this area as well?

This person called me at 4pm, addressed me by my first name and identified himself as a contractor doing work in the area and wanted to know if I had any projects I needed done.  He offered to come by and give me a quote.  I said "no thank you" and he politely hung up.  I'm concerned it's someone checking to see if we are in town and scoping out the house.

One law that should be passed to stop these calls is to hold telephone companies liable for their clients who use their phone numbers for illegal activity when that number does not accept calls or provide proper location or identity.

No Message left on ans machine. I tried to return the call, reached a message that the mailbox is full.

Another fail today at 3:19 pm.  Morons hung up as soon as my machine picked up.  Now the caller ID says "out of area".

There was never a voice mail message.  Today (Mar 21, 2013) I answered one of their calls.  The voice
was female, with a British accent.  She was casual: "hello, how are you today?"  The connection was very
bad, and I asked if she was using a satellite phone.  She said: "no, a land line."  Hmmm... maybe a land
line in a distant third world country.  Anyway, I asked why she was calling.  "We want to know if your are
planning any home renovations..." or something like that.  I said: "I'm on all the 'do not call' lists."
She became evasive and I cursed her out in a most profane way.  Funny thing... about 10 mins later she
called me back and proceeded to curse me!!  I called the number back and heard the noisy recording:
"...the person you are calling is unavailable, please call back later" in both English and Spanish, along with
the statement: "...message 2 switch number 597."

just got a call - CID:  Out of Area
didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
