Got a text myself from this number. I think it is a marketing scam company of some sorts.

This person sent me the same thing about wanting to buy my car but asking me to go to this website to get the quote.. I know its a scam. the number the SMS came from is 416-351-9162

I listed my car yesterday and got one of these messages on my cell phone, which was listed in my ad on craigslist. Phone number 310-873-7732

the number that texted me was 4153519162. im not even going to go to that website because most likely it'll have you enter personal information before it gives you what you're looking for. its complete B.S.

I posted a car for sale on Craigslist yesterday and got the text asking me to 'double check' their insurance cost on a website they provide.  nonsense.

Being spammed via SMS.

Just got the same message too.  It has to be some sort of automated script for spamming Craigslist listings.  It's too bad Craigslist is being abused this way.

Is there a place to report their number 310-873-7732?

Yup, me too.  Both e-mailed and texted me.  I think it's a woman, as the e-mail came from "Crystal sharlene" and said "Hello Im very interested in your vehicle. what other details do i need to know about your vehicle? what about its insurance, i need to know how much i will pay for insurance so i can be sure i can afford to pay it. Can you please do me a small favor and visit this site - http://bit.ly/check-american-auto-insurance-quotes  - and please advise me to what the most basic auto insurance package. Im sorry this is my first time purchasing a vehicle. Thanks and hoping to here from you soon." What guy would ask for a "small favor"?  If you're gonna make a business of spamming, at least learn to spell.  Sheesh!
