It is a call center to try to drum up work on your home for contractors. The guy said that after an appointment is scheduled for work on your home, they would contact a local contractor to come over and give a free estimate. They knew my name and address, as I had him confirm. Must get the info from public records. Yet my phone number is un-listed, and I pay an extra $5 to keep it unlisted, so don't know how they got my number.

And another one 12-3-13 at 1:25 pm.

We should all get together and file a class action suit against them

Who are these people ? They are so rude ; I asked what the call was concerning, and they did not say anything.If they are reading this message, I would like to say ; " Grow the Hell Up ! "

Received a similar call from an operator named "sally"  

kept saying she had called me a year prior and talked with me. and that i had been "real nice" and she wanted to see if i needed that remodeling work done.

This company must really think people are so braindead when they solicit so stupidly.  They wouldn't give actual corporate name or website info.

Nor anything more than the caller id info was what i could get on my own.

Called at 4:20p. Answered and no one was there. They just hung up.
They have called before. Reported it to the DNC complaints.

wanted to sell me some home improvements for a house on Flamingo, I informed him I didn't have a house on Flamingo.

Got a call from the same number as you guys (310-883-6622), with the same spiel (Contractor, house remodeling ...), when I start asking more questions he hang up. It definitely sounded like a scam! I'll file an FCC do-not-call section complain (like somebody mentioned in this post above).

I've gotten two phone calls from this number. On both occasions they said I had asked them to call me back with information on remodeling for my house.  I told them I don't need any remodeling and asked them where they got my number. They gave me a hold story of who they are, a contractor. I have blocked this number on my phone.

Tengan mucho cuidano...Nunca de su informacion personal ni su domicilio a nadie por telefono.

Hangup call from what appears to be a DNC violator.  1042 am on August 13.  I've also gotten calls from a similar number, probably the same crooks:  310-883-6661.

Called and said that we said to call back at a later date.
Something about remodeling.
Told them we are on the DNC list.
They just hung up.

Didn't answer because the callerid read "UNKNOWN CALLER"

Filed a online complaint with the FCC do-not-call section, as I ALWAYS do on EVERY invasion of my privacy

April called me from this phone number and was polite until I told her I didn't need any remodeling next year (her come on line was "I know you don't need anything this year, but if you needed something next year, what would it be?").  She was insistent that I come up with something and I told her we were currently doing a remodel as we speak.  She then hung up on me.

i have recived numerous call from this scammer caling to one thing or anopther remopdeling mostly.they got mean after the 3rd time i told them they were being repeorted.this have continued sometimes days ina row caling to be other people when caller id recognized the santa monica id from 1 310 883 6622-ther persojn was mean threatening and abusive to my person .i will not deal with thephone calls anymore instead i have opted to expose these house casers / theft crews who call to see if your home or out so they can come in a steal from people who shooot down their scar tactics.i will not be called again if so im filing a $1500 lawsuit off the bat becuse i have all the caller ids from them to prove it..again these criminlas are getting high tech and using cell phones w out of city ids to tirck elderly people.that i am not we are vigilantes who wait for scumbags to step on our property as i watch them on our outside surveylance cams.black males that case houses while you are @ work..i ahve seen them in our neighborhood and its obvious from teh voice on the other end they are (african americans parolles w no brains) try stopping by ill hand you your hands back with my chainsaw.rip me off ?your already sucicidal.. im so angry about theses phon calls i ahve told the imposter we know who you are and have your4 number the rest is easy! well not so much but the calls must stop or ill take out anyone who knocks on our door anfter being threated and the ciminal telling me "the cops wont come if you call them" and laffed i prompty told him about my mossberg/machette fetish so he hung up and got serious real quick .. dont take sh*t from these felons its happening everywhere since they have let parolles out early in california! Tell them to stop calling, if they call again you can file a claim against them in small claims court and receive $500 each tim they call you. If you can prove it was intentional you get $1,500 each time they called.

called our landline at 1pm- didn't answer, never will - now that I know its one of these sleazy contractors whom I will NEVER EVER use for any jobs.

Bogus calls from this number for 'California  Remodelling.'  Jeff Spreckles asked for me by name and wanted know if I wanted any work done. He said he was a contractor but he was obviously calling from a call center as there were many other voices in backround.  These criminals case your house and return when you are not there.  They do no remodeling.  I asked him if he was a criminal scammer and he swore and hung up.

Called, knew my name and said he sent something in the mail regarding remodel work and was following up.  I never received anything.  He said they've been in business for 17 years, was bonded, licensed and insured. Only California Renovations in search engines was in San Diego.  I'm in Culver City.

Called said he sent info in mail and spiel was for home improvement. I never received anything from this person. I interrupted his spiel and he got pissed and said I was supposed to be disciplined and hung up. LOL
I also told him we were both unemployed and didn't have any money for improvements. He kept on rambling.
