Got the same thing, not calling him back. Is there anyway we can report this dude to someone?

Ditto as everyone above, same exact script...only Carlos had my name wrong!

Yup same here. Curious to see what his scam is.

Wow...seems this guy has been doing this for a while. I've been highly recommended and he's wondering if I keep my options open. Sorry Carlos in Torrance.... Get a life!

Yes, I likewise received the same message on my cell phone. When I called the number back, I got a really weird recorded message with a completely different number indicating I was leaving a message for a different person named "Bob." So, this looks like another scam artist hacking personal information. When are these people going to be prosecuted so this type of incident will cease?!?!?

I got the scam call from Carlos too.

I got the exact same call, nearly verbatim, as the previous posters...
Call from a blocked number. Carlos" said I'd come "highly recommended" by someone and that he was in charge of expansion for his company and wondered if I was someone that "kept my options open".
But I do know how you can make $1,500 a week working at home with your computer. Oh. Wait.

This is crazy. I just received the exact call. A guy by the name of Carlos he said I'd come "highly recommended" by someone and that he was in charge of expansion for his company located in Torrance and wondered if I was someone that "kept my options open". I told him i was curious to know who recommended me and he said someone by the name of Christina Gladstone. Of course the name did not ring a bell. I told him that Christina was no one i knew. Any ways I told him it was odd because he was calling my work cell phone number. I asked him for his number and told him i would call him back after work. Yeah Right he will not be getting a call back from me!!! I found the whole call so odd and chose to research his number when i came across this whole trend.

My wife received exact call. She's an actress, attended a sketchy audition that day, and wondered if casting agent had sold her info to telemarketer. Anyone else attend an audition?

I received the same message late Friday evening. It was from Carlos saying that my name was referred to him as someone with great communication and people skills. I have no idea where he got my cell phone number as no one I know would ever have given my cell number out without asking me first. I will not be returning his call.

Carlos said his business in Torrence was looking to expand and my name had been given to him, blah blah blah. I did not return his call.

Same message here from Carlos: "people skills, etc." Scam artist.

Same call from Carlos,he left a message on my answering machine. Same exact line, he never said
who the person was that gave him my name. Ironically I am looking for a job but I think there is something fishy about this. I never called him back. I do not know how he got my cell phone number either as I do not give it out readily.

Got the same call from "Carlos". Said the same exact thing. Had my name dropped by someone who said I had excellent communication and people skills and was looking for a part time job. Sketch-y.

Got call on my personal cell from someone by the name of Carlos. He said I'd come "highly recommended" by someone and that he was in charge of expansion for his company and wondered if I was someone that "kept my options open". I called the number back, Carlos answered, said my friend "Diane Thomas" gave him my information. I don't know anyone by that name. He said he and his company hold periodic seminars and often ask people for referrals, and that's where they got my information.
I don't know anyone that would give out my personal cell and name without asking me first. I Googled "Diane Thomas" she was an actress that passed away in the '80's.
