They call our office every day trying to sell prescription meds. Sometimes they say it's an emergency. We are rude to them and still they call.

When someone from an online pharmacy calls me I tell them not to call me anymore or else I'll turn them into the DEA. Usually works.

These people continue to harass us after repeated orders to stop calling us

Foreign Pharmacy call. Same story as everyone else.  Here's my story and at the end I have a solution that has worked as best as I think it can be done without changing the number.

The only way to stop is a new number. This has been happening to me for years, and I can't change the number because it is for business referrals. Although the yelling, keeping them on the phone for a long time, acting like you will make a purchase for a ridiculously large amount of medication, or one Viagra pill or even 1/2 a Viagra pill, reasoning with them explaining you understand they need to make a living but please take me off the list sounds effective but it doesn't have any effect on the individual on the other line because they do not dial the call.  A robo dialer calls and randomly sends it to a person working in the call center.  With the reasoning approach, I have had some tell me their real name and where they are calling from. I have stated that the person they are calling for has died from an overdose of medications they bought on the phone (and they continue to try to sell more), With some more aggressive approaches I have been told they would bend me over a chair and rape me with a wooden stick while my wife watches and even got one guy so pissed off he claimed to be Osama bin laden (when he was still alive).  Then I acted like I didn't know who that was, and  asked him how do you spell that, with an "A"? He went on to try to explain who Osama was and eventually hung up.  I have reported to FCC, DEA, FBI, Do Not Call Registry, Local and State Police. Homeland Security, and no one has a solution... the Calls keep coming.

Here is what I have found to be the best approach.  Make sure your phone company allows you to block calls from a specified contact, or even send them directly to voicemail in case you block a desired number accidentally. I have Verizon which allows at least 100 phone numbers per contact.  I created a contact for fake pharmacy and have all calls forwarded to voicemail. The robo dialer will not send it to a person when it reaches voicemail, and it is very rare that a person leaves a message. Any time an unrecognized number calls, especially those that look foreign, or come up on the caller ID with the State identified I don't pick up. Then Google the phone number for sites like this and add it to the fake pharmacy contact.  I have over 100 numbers in this one contact.  The phone doesn't ring and they don't leave a message. I just get a missed call ID from fake pharmacy.  

Maybe they are just assigning different numbers for my calls but this has made it somewhat manageable and preserved my mental health. If I do happen to pick up a call, as soon as I hear the accent and background call center noises I say no thanks please remove me from your list, hang up and add the number to the Fake Pharmacy contact.

We are a research facility at the University of North Carolina. This "company" has been hassling us for years now and won't stop!!! It is very unprofessional to be interrupted by these calls several times a day! I really hope this works to eliminate this disruption.

These people were calling me about 30 to 40 times per day...   I have managed to drop that to 3 or 4 calls per day.

It appears to be someone (Pakistan or India) trying to sell me Viagra or prescription pain medication over the phone.   They have used the names of Steven, Edward and Michael.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy anything they are selling.  It is a SCAM and you will lose ALL of your money, guaranteed...

I called the DEA and they said they are aware of these organizations and for me to ignore it.   The DEA receives tens of thousands of these complaints each month.

DAMMIT...  This is my telephone so the only thing I can do is try to piss them off enough so they will stop calling me...

MY SOLUTION:
I answer the phone and pretend that I can barely hear them and then I proceed to ask them to hold on while I answer the door, then I ask them to hold on while I take dinner out of the oven, then I ask them to hold on while I answer another call and so on and so on...

The ONLY way to stop them from calling you is if you make it too time consuming for them.  If you just tie up their phone line and their time attempting to talk with you they will eventually become frustrated and stop calling you for the day.

They will call you again a different day, but you just start wasting their time all over again...  I have not been successful in stopping their calls altogether but I have slowed them down considerably...

This idiot has been calling me for a year and a half I keep telling him not to call but he doesn't stop I wish I could jump thru the phone and choke him

Same thing happened to me today, heavy accent male, saying something about pharmacy could not understand a word he was trying say.  I told him I do not use a pharmacy and he needs to tell me who directed him to contact me?  He disconnected the call.

If  companies will stop selling our personal contact information consumers would not have to tolerate such non-sense.  It is hard enough to keep up with personal business we initiate, it is time we get the monkey off our backs, just tell me where to start the process.

Very heavy accent caller telling me I must call back their number regarding a med. I picked up.  They act like it is a dire emergency.  Checked with the pharmacy and they have no idea who is making this call.

They won't leave me alone.  If you get mad and try and scream or say something that irritates them, all hell will break loose.  They called me non-stop one day every 4 minutes until I had to turn off my phone.  I now have a call blocker but it hasn't stopped them from dialing my number.  I just hear a "blip" and then the call is dropped.  They will never stop.  I am thinking of getting another number it is so bad.  Also, they can make the number on the call show up as a local number and when you dial it back,you get a recording saying this is not a working number. How do they get away with that? They aren't even calling me.  I have told them in the past that I am not the man who they are trying to contact and that I don't  know him.  That doesn't stop them.  And to make it worse, they are always calling me "honey" with a Pakistani accent.  Ughhh
