Tyrone Edward Tymkovich is a felon, and is? currently on probation. He uses a variety of pseudonyms(Ben Parker, Barry Adams, and others, there are recorded calls with Ty using false names and locations) to perpetrate his sham business valuation scams. He has permanently lost his license to sell real estate in Colorado because of ongoing violations of law, Corporate Acquisitions Group is rated an "F" by the BBB, and he has many pending civil court ordered stipulations against him because of his fraudulent activities.

Global Acquisitions (www.globalacq.com) and Ben Parker are definitely a scam. They claim they will sell your business within a certain time period, and if they don't, they will refund the "business valuation fee" (usually several thousand dollars). People don't get their money back, despite the "guarantee". For more info, see: www.tytymkovich.com. Ty is posing as Ben Parker. His company used to be Corporate Acquisitions Group. It is now Global Acquistions.

Joshua Pourgol is in no way related to global acqusitions, egiftbaskets.com or any of its affiliates. Joshua Pourgol is the founder of Steven PR, a global marketing and public relations firm based out of Los Angeles. His business is legitimate and his contact information is clearly listed on his website where it has been for years.

None of the messages in this thread are related to Joshua Pourgol, and this should be noted. Clearly the person who posted this message has been misinformed.

Yep, got the same call by Ben Parker, except the call back number is 413-271-3958, but my CID shows 913-829-4420.  I tried using Reverse Lookup on both numbers, but the numbers were not found.  This forum has been most helpful.

Ben Parker(he also uses Rick Webber)is one of the many alias's that Tyrone E. Tymkovich uses to deflect attention from his previous criminal convictions.  He chooses names that will elude search engines(Ben Parker, spiderman's uncle, and Rick Webber, from General Hospital), because his name is so tainted.

Tyrone E. Tymkovich has plead guilty to theft over $1,000, and to felony forgery of a check. On March 13, 2009, Tyrone E Tymkovich also plead guilty to disturbing the peace, and to multiple threats to person/property.

On May 28, 2009 Tyrone E. Tymkovich, President of Corporate Acquisitions/Global Acquisitions LLC., entered into a Stipulation & Final Agency Order in the matter of disciplinary action against his real estate broker's license (er 40029518) with the State of Colorado Real Estate Commission. The order settles charges that Tyrone Tymkovich made violations of the real estate licensing law. Under the terms of the order Tyrone Tymkovich agrees to a fine of $5,500.00 and a permanent revocation of his real estate license. Tyrone Tymkovich admitted to the allegations, factual findings and conclusions of law in the investigative report dated April 27, 2009.

You search the Denver County court system here to peruse his lengthy arrest record:

http://www.denvergov.org/apps/newcourt/court_select.aspx

Tyrone Tymkovich and Corporate Acquisitions/Global Acquisitions Group are currently under investigation by the office of the Colorado Attorney General in Denver.

Second Judicial District
201 W. Colfax Avenue
Denver, Colorado 80202
email address is: info(at)denverda.org

Corporate Acquisitions Group, LLC. resigned their BBB Accreditation on June 5, 2009, and are in the process of reanimating their business valuation scam company under the new 'Global Acquisitions' moniker.

Based on BBB files, Corporate Acquisitions/Global Acquisitions Group has a BBB rating of 'F'.

Reasons for this rating include:

* Failure to obtain required competency license.
* Failure to honor commitment to arbitrate or mediate disputes.
* Complaints filed against business that were not resolved.
* Government legal action(s) against business.

Global Acquisitions is Corporate Acquisitions Group.  C.A.G. is now rated "F" by the BBB, so Tyrone Tymkovich has reopened under a new name: Global Acquistions (http://www.globalacq.com/company.html).

Global Acquisition's listing on the BBB has its contact as Tyrone Tymkovich, with the same phone number and alternate address as CAG. It's one and the same, but now the "new" company looks like it has no complaints on the BBB website. Don't fall for it!

Global Acquisition's new BBB page with same contact info as CAG: http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/bu ... anguage=1#compl

Tyrone E. Tymkovich, CEO of Corporate Acquisitions Group LLC, has had his real estate license permanently revoked in the state of Colorado as of April 27th, 2009, because of outstanding violations, and he has a list of outstanding fines to the State.

You can find a PDF of the stipulated agreement here on the Colorado Division of Real Estate website:

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. I got the same line as everyone else....a very "interested" buyer wants to buy my "business" just call back and "name the price".  You can never be to careful these days. Thank you to everyone who has shared information here. This really helps people not get scammed!

Just came in this AM to Ben Parker's message from Global Acquisitions exactly to what I'm reading here.  I called back the number he left (310-954-2323), but left no message. I thought I should check it out first, and I'm so glad I did! Luckily this site came up and I just wanted to say thanks. This is a scam for sure.

June 29, @ 7:00 p.m., Ben Parker called representing a firm called Global Acquistions and left a message that he had someone looking to buy my type of business in central PA if the price is right.  He left the same 310-954-2323 phone number and that I should call back if the business was available for sale.  Having recently been tossing around the idea of possibly selling it, I called back and left a message with a my phone number, that I'm a businessman and that everything I have is for sale if the price is right.  Should be interesting to see if he returns the call.

And here's a link to lots of scams they pulled in their earlier incarnation as "Alliance Acquisitions." They've ripped people off for thousands of dollars.

Here's more info about this company, in it's former incarnation as "Corporate Acquisitions Group" (CAG). The person filing this complaint also found, as I did, that the company had seeded the web with fake press releases about business deals they brokered, and that the businesses in the "deal" didn't exist or had the same office location as CAG. Total scam. In an even earlier incarnation they called themselves "Alliance Acquisitions."

We got the call from "Ben", too. Steer clear of this company. It's a total scam. See the link below. They're currently phishing for suckers in New Mexico. I spent some time looking up these guys, Nouriel Gino Yazdinian and Joshua Pourgol. They've seeded the web with fake websites and press releases to make it look like they're a real business (www.globalacquisitions.com, probably uses fake photos and names) (also see their www.egiftbaskets.com site, which has fake testimonials, all posted on the same day, and the one "testimonial" that provides the writer's "gift basket business" website is just a click through site to real gift basket companies). They're using quick website templates to put up websites, all basically the same, and none providing any concrete info. Just a fancy facade with nothing behind it. They get you to pay money to have your business's accounts looked at, then suddenly the buyer they had changes his mind. Likewise, I'm guessing you pay for their egift basket business package and then find out you get nothing for it. My guess is when things get hot, they change their business name and move on.

We represent buyers in searches for businesses all over the country, and we feel we have a couple that are interested in your business in New Mexico My number is 310-954-2323. Again, Ben Parker, Global Acquisitions, 310-954-2323. Mmmm, sounds very similar except we got an actual contract to disclose information and a designated in person meeting time coming up in the next couple of days.  Paperwork looked legit, but once I started researching the company, nothing really came up & had trouble finding them.  And for them indicating how big of a company they were, their website was quite limited.  Plus, all the previous comments on this site all point the same direction = WRONG WAY, DO NOT ENTER!  Much caution to this company, maybe I need to be the one to have a face to face set-up and stop this guy/company so I can let other's know what the true face of a very likely scam.  Thanks for all the comments, I'll send out a results post if I decide to waste some time with this fluke & make a citizen arrest!

Found the same message on my answering machine.  Being a small business (and blonde, I'm afraid) and also in the market to sell for the right price, so that we can move to be closer to family, I called back.  Left a message, and just got a return call asking me to fax 3 years of financial information to them so that their financial analyst can review our P & L statements and set up a video conference.  Told her I needed to have more info on their company before I would do anything.  She gave me a web site that I couldn?t find...but the information DID lead me here....
Guess I will have to watch my phone bills and financial info for a few more months.  Thanks for the warning about these people!

She gave me a web site to go to. www.globalacq.com the site came up and Ben Parker is listed, I was not able to navigate much of the site though. She made it seem legit, but am I being nieve.

Below is a transcript of the phone message we received Monday around 7 PM, June 8th, 2009, virtually identical to the other calls reported here.

"Uh, yeah, hi. My name is Ben Parker with Global Acquisitions. Wanted to give you a quick call. We represent buyers in searches for businesses all over the country, and we feel we have a couple that are interested in your type in that general area of central California or coastal central California. My number is 310-954-2323. Again, Ben Parker, Global Acquisitions, 310-954-2323. Give me a call if you might be interested in selling your business right now, if the price were right.  Thanks, and have a good day."

Always suspicious, we looked up Global Acquisitions and are passing along the following observations, whatever they may mean, FYI:

At globalacquisitions.com, under PRESS (selected from the horizontal navigation bar near the top), the phone # below Josh@StevenPr.com, according to the reverse phone directory at whitepages.com, belongs to Thunderpoint Studios of the same Camden Dr, Beverly Hills address as both Global Acquisitions and Steven PR.  Global Acquisitions and Steven PR have the same founder, Nouriel Gino Yazdinian.
