I get their calls daily too.  I am on the do not call list, but it doesn't help.

I've gotten to the point where I just let these folks go through their whole spiel, then, at the end, tell them I'm not in the least interested.  Ticks them off no end, since their business depends on getting a certain percentage of positive calls, and any wasted time costs them money.

Just remember, it might not be Triange Constuction. That could be an old listing, or someone could be spoofing caller ID.

Same story as others: Triangle construction calling asking about home repairs. They've called many times in the past 6 months. I tell them we aren't interested - so they call a month later saying "I have notes that say you wanted to wait a month to consider"! They called today again after calling three weeks ago. I have caller ID so I just let it go to voicemail now. They don't leave messages, of course.

It worked! I followed Mary's instructions she posted on Jan 6 and the gentleman was very nice. He tried to figure out who had called me and had been very rude .He said they are having problems with some of their employees being rude or simply hanging up on people and are working on getting rid of them. I called the 800 number Mary typed above. Thanks Mary!

i just rec'd a call from this number and the guy identified himself as "big chompa"?  i typed the phone number into a search engine and this is what i found.. this person would not tell me what the call was in regards to and when i refused to had the phone over to my mother (don't know how they knew her name) he made a rude comment, laughed and hung up the phone... WEIRD!

This phony number is spoofed into caller ID used by Quality Acceptance A Car Loan Company, If they pretended to be a Construction Company they were phising to get your home address so that they could reposesses your vehicle, They tried to scam me, however my phone is computerized, it shows me who really is calling, whether or not they use a spoof card, This is high;y illegal and should be reported to The State of California Fair Debt & Collection Dept, as well as the Federal Goverment Dept Of Justice Consumer Complaint Dept (916) 322-3360, report or even record this scam, they will most likly sent your title to you in the mail!

I can't believe that other people are having trouble with this number!!!!. They have only called duing one day, BUT THE GUY MADE INAPPOPRIATE COMMENTS TO MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER!!! He's probably afraid to call back.

Called the 800 #. Guy was very nice. Said he would remove me. We'll see if that happens.

They called today to sell us remodeling services, told them we were on the do not call list and would file a complaint. He sarcastically said "Go ahead and do what you have to do" and hung up. I am so sick of telemarketers calling.

Spoke with a Jonathan today via the 800 #, he stated that since we called in October '08 for an estimate we are now in their system. Asked him to take us out, he said "I don't know how to do that". I suggested that he had better learn how or a lawyer might be able to teach him.

Calls from this number come every Saturday morning (most recently today, 2/28/09)and on some other days.  Not once has anyone answered when I picked up the phone, and when I call back no-one answers.

It's appparent from reading the other posts that donotcall.gov does not do anything at all about this.  Does anyone know of another gov't agency we can report this to?

310-984-7640 is the number showing.  Got a call at 9:30 am on Valentine's Day.  They've been calling non-stop for the last two weeks.  Many times with no one there, and other times asking if we need anything done at the house.  Husband says they are just trying to make a living.  I am tired of these people disregarding my right to privacy.  That's why we register on the DO NOT CALL LIST, right? I reported them several months ago to donotcall.gov and again today.  Nothing is being done.  Frustrating!!!

Got a call from 310-984-7640.  I think they said "Felix Construction".  I asked politely what list they got my number from.  The guy said "I don't know, I just work here.  You don't have to scream at me."  I asked, "Am I screaming?"  He said, "You don't have to scream. I'll take you off the list.  You don't have to scream."  I said "F*** you."

Im on the list too. I dont even own my home and I get this call often. I have had several calls all ending with " i'll take you off the list" yeah right!! The do not call registry doesnt seem to be working!!

They call at least once per day.  Always unknown caller.  Don't answer the call, and have reported them on the do not call registry complaint section.

Problem-it does not seem to work.  Enough is enough.  Obviously they are fraudulent from reading all of the "Names" of their business.

They need to be stopped.

With this economy, everyone is trying to get your money.  Get caller ID and don't answer any number you don't recognize.  Friends, relatives, and important callers will leave a message.  This number has been calling us a lot in the past week.  Never rude, but we're not interested in hiring a contractor.

These guys ignore the do not call list, have had numerous calls from them, trying to sell home improvement/construction.  Reported to DNC federal number without any results.

I finally registered a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, but from what I see, many others have done that about these unwanted calls from 310-984-7640 and it hasn't done any good. I saw in these comments that a person WILL answer their other telephone number, 310-645-8080.  I called that number and asked for my number to be removed.  We'll see what happens.  If not, you can bet I will be calling that 800 number often because I know THEY have to pay for that!  My number will also be recorded at their end -- but I don't care; at least they'll know I was pissed.  They can waste their time like I waste mine answering their unwanted calls with no one at the other end responding.

Called the 800 the person povided below, and the gal that answered the phone  answered Triangle Construction.  I asked my phone number be removed from their call list,she asked for my number and said she would take care of it right away.  That was it, she did not call me back as stated below.

I had commented before on this company calling me.  They called me again, and of course it is when we are actually thinking about doing home repairs so I said to call back later, not knowing it was the same company.  The guy was very nice and even gave me a website to look up so when he called back I would feel good about the company and set up a date.  The website is... triusa.gov  When I did a search on the name I found this site again.  Go figure.  I then tried calling the number that was on my caller id and of course there was no answer.  But this time I had the website, and an 800 number, so I called it.  I asked them to have me taken off the list and he did it while on the phone with me.  He had to input my phone number in the system, it sent me a call while I was on with him that he told me not to answer.  When that call was done, he was able to click on "do not call" and said it should go into effect soon.  The way he explained it to me was the company that does the calls have emails, and get sent email info with home phone numbers and addresses and the computer automatically makes the call.  He said they are suppose to add the correct input when the call is done.  Of course that doesn't always happen.  I almost hated doing this, because both the guys I talked to today were very nice, and the website looks good, but based on how much they called me in the past, and the attitude I got from them I don't want to take a chance.  Hopefully I won't get bombarded with calls from them again.  The number I was able to get through on was 800-615-7737.  Hope this helps others.
