received a call today from this number, but no message was left on our answering machine

Received a call today 8/4/09 at 11:15 Hawaii Standard Time from (310)993-9546 but hung up after I had answered. Just a note my number is listed on a craigslist ad???

I received a call from this number at my office. (Our caller i.d. only identified the call as "California Call" and the phone number of 310-993-9546.) The man calling asked for my boss by name. I advised the man that my boss was unavailable and then asked if I could take a message and have my boss call him back. The man quickly said "no" and immediately hung up. Judging from the background noise and the fact that the caller refused to leave a message, I would guess this was a sales call.

I tried calling this number back, and the operator said this was not a working number.  Interesting how a none working number can call???????????

When I answered the phone, it was dead air for a couple of seconds. Then a woman comes on the line and asks to speak to someone who no longer works for our company. I advise her of this and ask if I can help her with something. She takes a deep breath, hesitates and then starts to say something. But instead she hangs up on me. Weird. I did hear noises in the background, sounded like a call center. Possible sales call.

We are getting constant calls from this number.  When you pick up the phone and say hello, there is a pause, then someone comes on the phone and says my husband's name, like he is a long lost friend, and when I say no he is not at home, can I take a message, he immediately hangs up.  I tried calling the number back, but it says it is no longer in service.  I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and whomever else I can find, to report these people to.

I keep getting calls from this California phone number.  I have a Washington DC phone.  A voice answers and then it is disconnected.  I get calls from this number at least twice a week.

For the past four days or more I have received calls from 310-993-9546 ...One time the person said he talked with me in May...and when I told him that I could not hear him, he hung up.   Other calls...no one answers.

I have caller ID and usually don't answer any phone numbers that I do not recognize.  However, today my son suggested I goggle this number.  After reading a few of the reports I tried to call that number back.  It is not a working number.  My son is also getting this number on his cell phone.  He is a teacher and cannot answer his cell phone but he has "missed calls".  Really a shame that whoever is messing with this has to interrupt educators and everyone else's life!

Same as the others - got a call and never left a message.  Rather irritating since they are calling my cell phone!

I've complained to FINRA, Federal Trading Commission, AT&T.  I was advised to file a police report. Which I did. Then AT&T said to keep track of calls and always press *57 to track calls to police dept. Then if they call 3 times I can file a civil law suit. Which I am.  They called over 9 times. Also, the Federal Trading Commission said if they get enough complaints against Spyker they will file a class action lawsuit.

Just got a call from this one, asking for my boss. Used a common nickname for my boss's given name that no one who knows my boss would ever use. When I told him the boss was out, he said he would call him on his cell. That was a new one me, and might have made me think twice but for that incorrect name thing. I was like "Um, yeah, OK, you do that!"

The man who was calling completely mispronounced the owner's name which quickly defines that most likely it is a telemarketer.  When i said that i could help him he responded, "no sweetie" i'll call back.  before i could respond with taking us off the list he again very disrespectfully hung up.  and business really ask for this type of person to represent them?

The number belongs to Spyker Consultants. They're a precious metals broker located in Deerfield Beach FL. They have the most obnoxious sales people I have ever spoken to. Please contact them and have your name and number removed from their list. They're a horrible company and they need to be held accountable for their obnoxious business practices. just got a call from this number...no one there

Got another one of these clowns calling my cell phone.  I no longer pick up and talk to these jokers.  I believe it's Spyker Consultants.  They try to get you to buy gold and silver.  I have asked them repeatedly to quit calling me but they do not.  I suspect their sales team must have a call quota to meet so they just keep calling back.  Anyway, when I didn't answer (they never leave voicemail) but when I tried to call the number back I get a message saying this is not a working number.  These jokers have some kind of software similar to what spammers use where it spoofs a different telephone number other than the one that is really being used to place the call from.  I hate these guys and wish they would eat a turd sandwich.

Same as all the others....  Someone has called both my cell AND my home number from this 310-993-9546 phone number...  (from caller ID) Several rings and they hang up.   I have simply stopped answering the phone when I see this number.  I hope someone from the FCC is reading these notes!

I received a call from this phone number while I was at work. The man asks to speak with my boss. He asks for my boss by his first name, the man is sounding all casual like he and my boss are old friends. I believe he says something like "Oh, the old lug is actually in the office". Since my boss is actually quite young is makes me suspicious. Since my boss despises sales calls, I advised the man that my boss has stepped away from his desk and I ask him if I can take his name and information and I will locate my boss. At which point he avoids my questions and just says that he will call back later and immediately hangs up on me. I believe this is a sales call.

have got a lot of calls from this number never anybody on the other end. I would like to meet the person behind this but they would not like to meet me.

Just received a call, 3 rings, answered, then hung up. What is the point of that?
