I  am a real auto parts merchant who was scammed by these people. They ordered a part, asked me to send it to a different location, then called and said that they never actually ordered it, stopped payment on the card, etc.-When I talked to them, they said that there were many businesses in Chicago named "Quality Auto Parts" and that I didn't even know their address. Then they hung up. They did not expect that I would actually keep the faxed order form. But I did.

I also went on line to apply for a green card and a few hours later got a call from this number wanting to know why I didn't complete the application.  I said because it was too expensive.  After some persistance they relented and hung up.  if you go on line to www.usgreencardlottery.org the contact number is completely different.  Nice try but I live in South Africa, the land of fraud an corruption, I am NOT that stupid!

Got a call from them today. A man from India said that he was calling on behalf of the USA Green Card Lottery. He wanted my Visa-card number so he could charge me for the one year subscribtion.

Told him that I rather payed that online then giving it away to someone over the phone.

I want to become American citizens.and I wanted to make an application.but ? dont it.
and this number called me.

He called me about the Green card lottery, DON'T trust this guy. He has (as someone mentioned earlier)  an Indian or something accent. I told him I didn't want to give out my bank account info and he said I didn't need to, yet at the end he asked for it. That bi*** want your Money $$$$$$

I also went on line for the used auto parts and the same thing is happening to me.

They called me earlier tonight and left a message about the green card lottery. It was a woman who wanted me to call them. She knew my name which is a bit weird. I'm from Sweden and have never been a part of the green card lottery...

I went to direct tv site to order it and that was like 2 years ago.. I have since then been herrassed by this number on a daily basis of this phone number call at all hours every day, including Sunday. A not very good English speaking person has got cursed out numerous times to take my number off their list but still I get this call in fact 9:21pm  just received the call again.

The telephone number is from an autoparts website.  The site asks for name/address if you want a parts quote.  I did generate the account, however, I specified that I wanted the quote via email and that wasn't respected.

Called back, music.  It's a small outlet that inventories multiple vendors and they only receive funds from user purchase commissions.  If you do get a call and you didn't make the request, as them to give you the date that the account was created, the address used, and then maybe you can get a better idea at who did it.

Again, as of may 2011, this is a legit company, though they are a little annoying and unprofessional.

yesterday I did a registration to get USA green card and I stopped just before putting on my credit card number. After 5 (!!!!) minutes this number called me asking why  didn't complete the operation and wanted my credit card number with a strong asian accent....

My daughter rec'd a call from this number claiming to be helping her with financial aid for college. She  smartly told them to call me. On the phone they wanted information so they could help her with aid to go to college? When asked how they would do that when she already has a full scholarship they advised that asenior member would call back. When asked were they a telemarketer they advised no and would have more information when they called back. They then hung up.

Using a different phone I called them back and got the "QUALITY AUTO PARTS" name for the business.

yep same auto parts issue.

LOL made the same mistake looking for an auto part. "yes sir we have the part in stock"  I wanted to see a picture of the part or the OEM part number.  "We can not do that for security reasons"  I said go by and now I get calls every day.   I know the number is listed in Chicago, but I know I was talking to someone in Bombay.
