It appears as these people have changed their name again. They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions". They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice". They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert". According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

No real person, just a SALES recording PRETENDING to be a "public service" "helping heart patients and diabetes patients" neither of whom reside here. When given an option to be removed from the list, the phone number is redialed and the entire timewasting nightmare begins again. On DO NOT CALL list for over A DECADE.
ruth 2012-07-27 13:27:08 Unknown
I didn't know you could do this. I blocked this number from my phone, so they cannot call anymore. I keep filing complaints on the "do not call" lists, but nothing happens. These telemarkers hard so hard to stop, as they keep changing their phone numbers.
Hope it works for you

THEY KEEP CALLING
Beth-CT 2012-07-26 18:17:00 Telemarketer
I am tired of receiving phones from these kind of people. Our number is on the do not call list. I used to write down the information and call them, but I have given up. The do not call list does nothing for me, so when I hear who is calling and I do not recgonize the number I let it go to voice mail and usually they do not leave a message. It is very annoying.

Called back 312-239-3612 and got some guy by the name of James and he switched me over to some lady and when I asked her what kind of business this was she said that they sell magazines. Oh by the way James told me that the reason they were calling me was to tell me that I had won $1,000,000. Yeah, right and I am Santa Claus

Rather than get angry, I laugh. This one's a prize in any way, shape, or form. It's the same old number, 312-239-3612, but the Caller ID reads "ADSPLUS". Oh, really! No more sneaking around with names like Level 3 Communications or Safe Line Alert? They know that they are stupid, and by using such a title, they confirm that to us, too!

The good news for you all... since nobody else has taken the time other than complain... I have filed a police criminal complaint against Level 3 and ultimately the marketing firm that uses the number.
This means that representatives of both companies will be hauled off to jail.
When you have an issue like these annoying calls, and you are registered on the do not call list... file a complaint with your local PD. My decision to criminalize the complaint is that several times someone was on the other end breathing heavily into my 11 year olds ear.
My next step is to see how the $10,000 fine per occurence can be involked

Got a call from this number and pressed "1". I let the guy talk for 4 - 5 minutes before asking if he had ever heard of the "Do Not Call" list. He seemed VERY upset that I had wasted his time :) If everyone who could would do this, Maybe it would help.
Janet-CT 2012-07-06 23:44:24 Unknown
Didn't leave a message.

I know that Level 3 Communications is just a telephone company. I am so tired of this call. We are not seniors here yet, but my husband is an AARP member. Maybe a phone call to AARP to ask them to stop giving the phone numbers out might help some.
dot 2012-07-02 21:11:37 Unknown
No answer when I called them back. Mailbox full.
Renee 2012-07-02 20:14:19 Unknown
This number came up on my home phone this afternoon with "unknown name" July 2, 2012 @ 3:33 PM - I do not answer "unknown" calls and any form of a toll free call. My answering machine picked up after the 5th ring and they left a "dead air" message (no message at all). Upon trying to return the call - I got a recording of "The mailbox is full, please try your call again at a later time".............

since the fcc and the GOV wont do anything about these scam calls, the only thing to wish for is an itch they cannot reach to keep them busy;

Recorded message about a medical alert system for senior citizens that can be obtained at no charge - recommended by the AMA and AHA. I selected option to be connected to an agent. When I asked the agent for the company name, she hung up on me. That should give you a pretty good indication of the integrity and validity of the call.
Also- my number has been on the DO NOT CALL registry for 2 years - and this company clearly does not comply with the federal law.

The call is an auto call and wont stop bothering me! When I called them back to ask them to take me off of there list I got another recording that says "I'm sorry. There's no one to talk to you right now. Good-bye"

They called me, too. I don't know where they got my number, but I let it go to voice mail. They did NOT leave a message.
According to a Google search:
Phone number: 312-239-3612 is located in Chicago, Illinois.
Its exchange 239 is managed by
LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC -.
The number is currently on switch number CHCGILGMDS2 (switch is a technical specification for phone hobbyists).
Around 50% of people reported it as "Recorded Message"
Others have reported them as people scamming senior citizens.

I get multiple calls daily from 312 239 3612. They never leave a message but let the voice mail fill up with the sound of "nothing." When I do answer, they say nothing.
Steph 2012-05-25 15:14:19 Unknown
As an additional note, I did *not* pick up as I was doing laundry and missed the call regardless. Now I'm glad I didn't.
Steph 2012-05-25 15:13:16 Unknown
Walker,
they must be in full swing today, because I too got a call on May 24th, right around 10:52 AM EST (about 20 minutes ago). I just finished work for the next few weeks due to maternity and actually came online to look and see if it is a legit call that I should bother with or a scam. I too will trust what Mr. Whodatcat said and take it as a scam. People amaze me; I could never imagine trying to take advantage of senior citizens like that. My husband's grandmother, who lives in Texas, fell for one the other day the needed to 'verify her bank' information. It's horrendous to me what people will do.
Walker 2012-05-25 14:56:21 Unknown
They hit my phone again , same number, same ID, on May 24, 2012; they hit me on May 9, 2012, too.
I have no doubt, Mr. Whodatcat, that they are after senior citizens. I help with a small group of senior citizens who are the sweetest, most affable people you could want to meet. Yet they grew up in a time when people could still trust each other, and their innocence makes them vulnerable to predators like these. They will actually think, when getting a phone call that promises them a cruise to the Bahamas for answering a few political questions, that this is a great honor for them. And they get suckered in.
My advice, if it could be spread nation-wide, is for people who have senior age parents, to keep watch on them, to check in on them. Predators are out there, and -- judging from comments here at 800notes, they actually take great pleasure in being ugly to other people,
Faith 2012-05-14 18:38:46 Unknown
I get calls from this number at least once a day. I do not answer any out-of-state calls or 800 calls. Have been on Do Not Call List and it does no good. FTC said not to answer unwanted calls and after awhile they will stop when they discover that a human does not answer.
