This number called me 2x while i was at work. didnt answer and they didnt leave a message tried to call back from my work phone but it had the "ALL CIRCUITS BUSY" tone. Who makes these calls?
Madness 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
Wow. I ended up here after googling the number LOL.. I tried to call them back but kept getting "all circuits busy" and thats it. Got the call on the bus yesterday. I was glad to receive it. It said all the things u guys said it did but with all you saying this shady biz crap now. My hopes r shot.
Roby 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
It was a recording (obviously), took about ten seconds to prompt. It stated (a female voice) that the "employer wants to remain confidential." What the hell is that, is the secret service wanting to cut off my balls? HAHAHAHA! Well, I guess I'm not the only one who got this call.

RE: 312-253-4877
well, if you applied to a job on CL:
"Help Desk Tech Support – FT Position pays to $27/hr plus benefits" and sent your resume to "Reply to: linda.hunthr@gmail.com"
then that's one possibility why they aree calling you back...they do keep on hanging up for some reason, as if they do not want you to ask questions.
ACW 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
got a recording...called back, waited till someone came online...he asked me for my number, then promptly hung up. Tried to call back again, then it's "all circuit are busy now" only.
LM 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
Me too. I'm also getting employment verification emails from sites like The Career Wizard. I don't know if the two are related, but I'm guessing they are.
Aside from being an annoyance, has anyone actually been scammed or frauded by either of these contacts?
Julia 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
Ditto to all of you guys
Keith 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
I applied on Craigslist too. And I just now got the phone call but it didn't connect me with any one at all. The bot hung up on me. Does anyone think it might be a scam?
sterlo 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
ya my phone was silent. craigs list jobs as well for me. oh well. f***in communist
bust 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown

brent 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
I just got a call too from this number and I also have been applying to jobs through craigslist. I didn't answer though.
tyler 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
I've also been applying for jobs through Craigslist. Since about 50% of the postings are fronts for some sort of shady business, I'm guessing this phone call is part of a scam. If anyone finds out different, please let us know.
annoyed 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
it's a recorded call from applying for jobs onlie...prolly through craigslist because that's what i've been doing lately. it wants u to stay on hold for a representative while recording the call to review the application, i didn't hold.
Anne 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
I also just rec'd call from this number. WHO is it?
unknown 2011-06-06 20:45:38 Unknown
Employment Select is who called all of us, I called back to see who it was but didn't talk to anyone so I could do my research on the company. According to what I've seen they are shady so I would check them out before talking to anyone. This company seems to be preying on people who are job hunting by using your cell# to solicit school offers. So sad people are that desperate to target job seekers.

Renee 2008-11-19 18:10:22 Telemarketer
Called and left on hold for 10 minutes. A guy came on line asked if I had 45 mintues to verify my resume. As soon as we got to current education and I said I was not looking for further education the phone call was ended in less than 5 minutes. I asked him if he wanted to verify my employment history and he said no. I volunteered for him to speak to my last employer right that minute and he said no. SCAM this is just a telemarketer

I applied online for a job through this website, www.snagajob.com. There was this company called Right Fit Staffing-company confidential. I applied for their warehousing job, at least 2 weeks later, I get a phone call. Fortunately I was home and I answered the phone, it was women's voice conducting my interview over the phone. She said she was impressed with what I said and that they'd call me again in several days for step-2 of my job application. There has yet to be a 2nd phone call. The phone # on my caller Id was 1(312)253-4877. But I forgot the company's name. I remember it's a long word that starts with an O.

I received a missed call from this number at 10:00am today. I tried to return the call and got a recording saying that they do employment verifications and background checks for various companies, I applied to a position online for the Orlando area. I was on hold for over 5 minutes. I don't know about anyone else but I can't hold on that long. I will try again early tomorrow morning and see what happens.

I had a call from this number but the last digits were 4878. I've been job searching on CL and found that the jobs that have you reply to a gmail address then send you to another site to put in more info and ask about higher education and insurance. It took me two responses to realize this is pobably a scam and these other reports just back that up. Thanks. And good luck staying away from the scams.

Got a call this morning at 9:48. I also applied to several jobs on craigslist. I called the number back and it is a prerecorded message about an online job application. It said someone would be with me shortly so I hung up since I have no idea which job this is or if it is even legit.

I recieved a call on my Cell phone number - I missed call and they left a message to call them back on a job opportunity I had applied for. The job or company name was not mentioned. I have been apply for jobs on the internet- with monster.com, careerbuilder, and only after I registered with dice.com and yahoo Hotjobs, did these 2 emails come to me about how they reviewed my resume and I might be interested in the jobs, they gave me a log on, but when I log in to check the job out, it says it is not complete, they will contact me??
I checked my emails and the jobs and here is the website info?? both are out of Florida, but the 312 number is a Chicago listing??
I had 2 jobs listed as generic listings- Administration Executive and Customer Service Rep.
These listings were from an email - 'your resume fits these job descriptions- sign on this website and complete your registration to apply for these positions.
I copied the screen print for the job listed and completed the registration. Only thing that I questioned was why the required my cell phone number and the carrier??
The website is listed as:http://perfectjobsolutions.com/JobOffer/Register3.cfm?JobPositionID=118
Once you have completed the application, our HR department will contact you within one to two business days to schedule an interview.
Best Regards,
Hank Thompson
Sr. Recruiter, HR Division
The other company was listed as-http://careersource-group.com/cmanager2.aspx? ... 3759&j=17474198
It usually takes a couple of days for applications to be processed through our system. Once yours is processed, an HR staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment for an interview.
Thank You,
David Chapman
Sr. Recruiter, CN HR Division
I am not sure if this is the company that called me, but they did ask for my cell phone number and makes me think it is the scam number listed with all the comments of missed call and message.
When I call the number all I get is circuits are all busy now.
alex 2008-11-05 18:45:19 Unknown
I got a call about and hour ago. Missed call and a message left. Keep trying to call but stays busy. Who is calling?
Mary from michigan 2008-11-05 01:33:34 Unknown
I had a missed call and I am also job hunting. I did fill out some info for a job posted on Craigslist. They wanted to know my cell number and carrier. I thought that was suspect...but filled it out anyway. That is the only thing I can recall recently that didnt seem ligit.
Emily 2008-11-03 17:25:17 Unknown
I also received this call and the same results. I traced it back to a website called THE CAREER HUB. DO NOT use this website to apply for jobs, it is an identity theft SCAM organization! Stay away!
