Is there any reality to the cruise so she at least gets that out of the deal???? Can I put a stop to the charge if I have Power of Atty??

As I was reading through the posts, I saw the number you posted was the closest to the number I received a call from. 253 382 9999. The guy said his name was Jason. Gave me his corporate ID # and proceeded to tell me that I one this free vacation for the purposes of advertising for them by mouth. That the political survey people advertised for them as well. I am a naturally trusting person so I gave them my personal info, but when it came to giving them my credit card 3 for the $118 fee, I did not feel so good.The guy was very very nice, and even after I told him I was goggling that this was a scam, he proceeded to convince me otherwise. He sent me a supposed e-mail confirmation from Caribbean Cruise Line.  I hung up after that..

Translation: "please call us at 202-552-1228 so we can verify that you have a live phone number we can continue to blow up with our scam messages." Nah, I have a better idea. I'll just go here: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Do you know what the words "do not call list" mean? It's a very short phrase, made up of very short words. And when a phone number is on it, you DO NOT CALL IT. What part of that do you not understand?

I just recieved the same call, after a political survey a very loud person came on line offering a Royal Caribbean 2 day Cruise, when I told him i wouldnt give him a credit card # he became very Rude and hung up on me . Scam dont fall for it !

i got a call from them today. they sounded very good. even called the cruise line, they admitted that they sell their rooms to these companies (time share is also involved in their BIG package). Looked up many sites.... SCAM. Then to really verify call their atty:

I got a phone call from 503-468-5986 sounds great for a free cruise but 118 dollars I do not think free so I do not have that money now not free

I received the same call today from 503 902 8457. I got suspicious when they said its a now or never offer and I need to pay 59$ x 2 using my credit card right away. When I said I'm not comfortable doing that, they forwarded me to another person who tried to convince me that they are a legit company. Glad I didn't fall for it.

I recieved a call today from 253-382-9076 regarding the survey and free trip. Its actual a smart move to collect our survey information first and they know we wont give them our CC info. Now they have the survey completed for free. If i new for a fact that the trip was free and could be verifed that would be great. Unfortunatly you cant trust a stranger calling you asking for your CC info.

We received this call from 202-552-1228 today, 2/18/2012 at about 12:30 CST. The robo call offered a free cruise if the survey was completed to the Bahamas. Got a live person on the phone and before sharing any personal information I asked him some questions and he quickly hung on on me.

This is a damn shame I rdcieve something in the mail today from these sorry a** bastartds...and I knew it was a scam ..please leave us innocent ppl the f*** alone

I got a call from 502-632-4428... recording that told me if i participate in a short political survey i'll win a cruise. I didn't press any numbers, the message repeated, then it hung up.

Got the political survey and free cruise offer to my cell number which is registered on teh do not call list...
I chose the #9 option to be removed from their list... let's see who buys the database and changes phone numbers next... these are auto/robo calls and the phone numbers they use change often... makes me mad... my cell number is only for my kids to use ... why and how did they get my number?

Received the same call from 202-599-8512. A request for a political survey and then offering a free Bahama Cruise. After the survey, if you select it, you will be put into a call center claiming they are associated with Caribean Cruise. As the previous person, they tell you how lagit they are by directing you to www.2012getaway.com. They want $118 for taxes. The problem I have is, it is do it now or never deal. Too good to be true, so I said thanks but no thanks.

I wish the political survey was real, but very doubtful.

Got the call twice, from two different numbers.  The first one dropped the call after I answered the questions.  The second sent me to a live person who said I had to pay the port tax of $59 per person that day with a credit card.  I told him there was no way I was giving my credit card number since I could not confirm this was not a scam.  He offered to email me a certificate of authenticity - I declined and hung up.  The last number that called was an Arizona number - 480-535-5740, the first was a Chicago, IL number

I just got the same call from 202-599-8470. someone claiming to be from Caribean Cruise directing me to the website 2012getaway.com. saying if you complete a short political survey to win a 2 day cruise. thanks everyone for writing in. this site came up in a google search and i got off the phone right away.

I took the survey and was bored so I figured I'd listen to the bs the salesman was pushing and have a bit of fun with it. We got about 4 questions deep and he wanted my number in case we "got disconnected"
I told him were gonna wait in that until I hear the rest of his sales pitch. He said again he needed my number to proceed, I told him I would call him back if we got disconnected. I then told him what he needed to give me the "free" cruise. My credit card? My checking account?

Then he hung up on me : )

We don't have caller ID on our landline.  Received this call today.  I responded to the survey questions, hoping that my opinions would be useful, but hung up as soon as they mentioned "major credit card.

I received a survey request on the debt crisis in order to receive a free, 2-day bahamas cruise.  The # that called me was:  312-465-1104.  It's the same scam as the # above.  I did not stay on the line to speak with anyone and hung up.

Type of business:.....According to a web search, they sell VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone services.  I didn't look any further into it.

Today was my first call from them.  It came in at 12:14 pm.  I followed the directions given in the post made on Sept 2, 2011, by CFPP Research, about five messages up and it hopefully removed my number permanently.  You must listen through the recorded message that tells you what the call is about and what you can win, but it's pretty brief (brief enough) and then you get the option to dial 1 for a rep or 9 to be removed.  Rest assured, I will be back to post again if I receive another call from them.  I expect it should work, especially since a company rep took the time to come to this site and post the instructions for removal.  MOST don't bother, as that could be a days-long project if you're going to look up EVERY site on which people can report numbers these days.  They are NUMEROUS!  :)

Caribbean Cruise Lines is indeed a rock-bottom waste of time and money (not to be confused with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines).  However, your impression of cruising in general is totally wrong.  It is the best vacation per dollar on the planet.

I got a call from this number also today, it said "private caller " on caller I.D., never answered.

The do not call list is a joke. That's where they get all our numbers from.

Problem with blocking is that some of these "companies" use spoofing which basically makes them able to use any number they want so they won't be detected.  That's why some of the calls you think you blocked, end up calling again under a different number. Should be outlawed.

I received a call from this number at 3:07 today (10/25/11).  When I answered, no one was on the line.  Caller I.D. has Voice Network.
