Someone from this number keeps calling and harassing about checks  I don't even use checks .

The call from this "person" came in on my business FAX line. I answered and identified it as such. The person then asked for a person with name I have not heard of before. I asked for identification and reason for the call. This person failed to identify himself or state the reason for the call. When I persisted asking for who he represented, he said a "law firm"... fat chance, since he then began to insult me with the most foul language I cannot repeat. I hung up. He called back and began to insult me and my wife who also answered the call. When I again asked who the calling company was he said: "The Klu Klux Klan!" I kid you not!!! I hung up again. I am reporting this to the local police department for follow-up. Suggest anyone receiving such a call do likewise.

Have received several calls, called back and spoke to Mr. Minter. While asking him questions he became irate and began cursing me, which no legit lawyer or representative would ever do. Law offices of Coleman, Farrow, and Associates, no listing or refernces anywhere. Ignore him do not return any calls and provide him or any representative any personal information. I have provided the information to the authorities, and hope he gets his , before he confronts the wronmg person who will trach him down and give him the justice he deserves.......

Called my phone and left message on it saying I needed to contact them immediately regarding a pending Check Fraud case against me. Said that if I ignored this call I would be subject to arrest and possible imprisonment. What a scam...........I havn't written a check in over 6 years as I pay all my bills directly through my bank or debit card and use a credit card (for the miles) for any purchases. Another thing is the statute of limitations for bad checks under $150 is only 2 years and 5 years if more than $150 in Florida so even if I had written a bad check, which I haven't, they'd be spinning their wheels...............

He left a message on my daughters cell regarding a different person saying she needs to call back pertaining to a felony conviction and check fraud immediately. My daughter called back and said they have the wrong person. They did then did a search on her number (caller i.d.) and it brought up my name. I called them Some guy calling himself Mr. Mentor, with a heavy Jersey type mafia tough guy accent started playing the heavy handed roll and was a total A-Hole. He transferred me to some guy who accused me of posing as that wrong person they said they were looking for. Suddenly they said they would "take me off the list"

This is a boiler room, bucket shop, smile and dial heavy handed operation with guys intending to sound very official, mean and with a law firm that will put you in jail.

Total scam, total con. Be careful since they have the ability to quickly look up who you are when you call back. I think a passive person calling to say they got the wrong person could be taken for a very bad ride.

If this is a law firm, it is the first one I have ever known about that could not afford to have a website.
