called and left automated message. message said this is our last time contacting you, you have a lawsuit filed against you- call 02-864-1222...didnt add or quite get in the first number 2---202-864-1222. so i called back the number i received call from 312-263-8267...area code or number no longer in service. also had a call 1 hr 1 min. difference from 817-275-9369 saying the same message and telling me to call same number. called back 817-275-9369 and no longer in service.

Lady speaking very nice English and sopundin professional. She spoke about some Windows-licencing issues, and that they sent mails, and need to do something. But she could not tell me my mail account, and with the time sounds really strange.
Dangerous call due to the fact that it sound professional.

A woman with a very heavy Asian accent speaking English, identified herself as "Katie Stewart from Windows," saying that my computer is "sending out warning notices" and that "Windows needs access to fix the problem." I hung up on her.

Caller ID only says "Chicago, IL."

Seems the number they gave you belongs to  Rogers Communications Partnership (cable) Landline in Toronto, ON.  So it looks like they can hack into their phone lines to make these scam calls.  Wonder if anyone reported this to Rogers Communications.

Accented guy, stating he was calling from windows.  I told him this is the third call in the week, and the FBI is tracking this call, he hung up.    May 4, the number came in as out of area.   Same type of conversaton, except he was calling the MS.  Apr 30 got a call showing private caller 0, same conversation.

I got a call from this number telling me I been calling her boyfriend sounded like a recording I just hung up

I just got a call from a man with a middle eastern or indian accent about my computer sending error messages wanting me to turn on computer and follow his instructions. I told him that I was not falling for his scam and called him a very derogatory name having to do with a sexual act and his mother to which he responded with you American  word for male genitals followed by what you do with a straw.  I don't think he will be calling back.

This is a scam company! They told me my IP address has been hacked and asked if I could turn on my computer for them to check!!!! I called him out and he immediately hung up.

I am French, and I got a call yesterday, that number is showing and telling me that my phone call was from Chicago ... I had no messages or anything else from them.

I received a call from this number telling me they were from Microsoft and  saying they had received many complaints from my computer which was in danger.  Also they called me on 630 213 1978 , the sound was terrible and they asked me   to go to www.showmypc.com.  I go suspicious when they didn't know i had MAC. I kept asking them to prove they were not a scam. They called out a  licence number and but i got really uneasy and cut them off.

I got a call from this number while I was driving.  When I got to my destination I tried to call back and I got a message about the number. Not available, not connected. something like that. So I decided to check it out and found you.

When you call back you get a "Not in Service" message. Scam.

Got a call from this number saying I downloaded a file on my PC that is dangerous. I replied Really. So I suppose you ant me to let you in to fix it. They immediately hung up.

Foreign accent man keeps calling telling me I have a refund .  Wants me to turn on my computer When I asked  him how this will work he got upset.  They only can return money from their department with paperwork on the computer.  I told them to just send it.

Today I get a call from this number. But I cannot receive this call as I was busy with other stuffs. When I have checked I found this number. I am in Singapore. I am not aware of this number or area code. When I search for this number , found this thread....!!

We received a call from this number and the guy said their certified technicians are seeing that we are receiving error reports and our computer is downloading viruses while we're on Facebook... after questioning him he said his name was Craig, from a company called Infotex from New Jersey (although this number's area code is Chicago). I told him we'd have our computer-savvy cousin call him back so the number he gave us to call back was 416-915-3536 (we're not actually going to call)... none of it makes sense. SCAM! If you get a similar call do not do as they say as they will probably screw up something in your computer or hack into your online banking or credit card info or something.

I had this joker too said he worked for Micro Soft was going to fix my computer, told him nothing was wrong then he said that it was my internet provider and that he needed to have permisssion to use my computer. I laughed at him and said why wouldnt Bell Canada call me?? He went quiet and I hung up on him..........SCAM

I received a call this morning.. He said ''Your computer....'' and nothing more!

they called and said that our computer is full of viruses and we are sending them viruses and they need our information. I told him not to call back and that i would be reporting him to the police...I have heard from several other people in our area that have gotten calls similar to this

I trhink the are fishing to grab access to your computer, and I don not know why?

Just had a call from this number also. SSDD this heavy accented hyper talking guy is telling me that he is calling from Micro-Soft regarding my error messages. He is instucting me to take my time and put my computer on and he will tell me what i need to do to fix all these issues with my computer. I laughed and asked him how he knew i was having trouble. (i have been through this scam many times) He went into this whole story about how they (MS) get millions of reports but that only the VERY DANGERIOUS ones get calls from them. I of course laughed again and told him i was so happy he called. So i had him where i wanted him. He said "oh just take your time and start up your computer." This is when i told him "i don't even have a computer you idiot. LOL then i hung up. He of course called back and said "Hello?" as if i had called him. Stupid people is all i can say and we have no cure for that yet.

I went on a payday loan site and simply put in my details for a quote... After being redirected to various pages I closed it all and thought ether of it... Within seconds I have this number calling me. Haven't answered as I live in the Uk... It's ridiculous!

I am getting calls from this number since past couple of days and every time they call, they ask for a person with different name, when i say them that they r calling a wrong number, they apologise and immediately start marketing their products to us. Its irritating. Even after continuously telling not to call, they are repeating this and that too at odd time of that day and even at nights..

Just got a call from this number, lady with heavy accent first said she's calling from something like Health BBC and said we reported that a computer is running slow. I asked her again which company she's calling from and then she said Microsoft. I asked her which computer she's referring to since we have more than one, she just hung up.

Something about registering for Google.  I told them to put us on the DNC list and the guy laughed saying that we hadn't registered for a google listing.  I told him therefore he is selling us something, which makes his call unsolicited because we didn't ask for them to call us.  He hung up.
