Report him to the FBI, Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General in Illinois and also local police. File a report with making homes affordable.gov. They have all kinds of links to reporting mortgage fraud. They are on to this creep!! Don't give up. NO ONE NEEDS TO BE HARRASSED! He has been calling me nonstop leaving messages- 312 772 7145. He goes by the name of Bennie.

I met this man in august 2008, my fatherinlaw had just had a heart attack and my baby was due in maybe three days.  I knew immediately that he was a scam when he told me that he purchased a list of names and actually told me that he hung up on folks saying "hey hope you lose your house, you dingbat".  He wanted to see my whole entire house and told me what great taste I had, then he tried to offer me a job working from home calling people off his lists and said, "look we don't really have to do anything, nothings ever guaranteed and told me that I would be really good, he said I just know you would be good.  I got real strange vibes from him but pretended to act as if I was going to use his help being that I was about to have my third child and third csection, I told him that I didn't have the time or energy to fix the mortgage.  He then said ok look, I like you and I want to give you a deal, give me a check for five hundred now and once I know everything is going through give me another five hundred.  I couldn't get him to leave and so I wrote him a check for the five hundred and as soon as he left I called my bank, stopped payment and they didn't even charge me when I told my story.  I looked at my caller I'd and saw bed nader, ben narder, ben narter and knew he was a big conartist.  He was lucky to have come by our house while my husband was at the hospital because he wouldn't have allowed him to sit at our kitchen table and look around inside our home.  I hope somehow the people that trusted him and paid him can be compensated and I don't know where he is right now but I hope he's not enjoying ben and jerrys and continuing to rip people off during such desperate times.  I hope he goes to jail and I hope  a lesson is learned that sometimes the person with that confident upbeat voice can sometimes be a real shady s****ag just trying to scam you, like ben narder, or was it narter?

I am trying to get info.. can't seem to get anywhere with my cell provider, they send me to the police the police send me back. We need to stop this idiot. He called again last night at 11pm. he's saying nasty things to me on my voicemail. Any info you can get please reply and I will do the same.

I received a call from this man Bennie, telling me his agency got my number from a List... Stated he could modify my mortgage, I told him I wasnt interested. he left his number 312-265-0730. he then called me 3 more times harrasing me, Then the fourth time I picked up told him I wasn't interested and he started screaming at me telling me he was going to kill me and that I was dead. He then left two more messages on my cell yelling calling me a [removed:lang] He needs to be put in prison for harrasing people... We need to find out where he is and get him to stop what he's doing to people... I knew he was a scam artist from the first phone call...I went to the police and I am trying to find out any info on him... Thanks

I kept receiving messages on my voicemail from someone named "Bennie" who stated that he was from Bank of America.  After a couple of days I returned his call.  He wanted $700 to help me get approved for a Home Loan Modification.  I ALMOST fell for it; took documents to Staples to have copied and EVEN WENT AS FAR AS to get a cashier's check made out to "Ben Marter."  BEWARE of this person.  When I asked him if he really worked for Bank of America he answered "No."  I asked how he got my name and number and he told me that he purchased it from a "list."  I called FedEX and was (thank God!) able to stop the delivery and the package will be delivered to me!!!!!!

I too received a call from this number and the persons name was Ben or Bennie. He sounded very desperate and the only thing he wanted was my money. He told me if I paid him $750.00 he would drop my mortgage payment down by 1/2 and i wouldnt have to pay my mortgage for 6 months. Ive come to find out this is illegal and all he was doing was trying to scam me out of my money.

A man named Ben keeps calling my home and leaves disturbing messages saying he works for my mortage company. After speaking with him I M sure is just out for my money. He is very vague and sounds extremely desperate for me to send him money. Beware
